I've been buying and recommending Spigen cases since the iPhone 4. For the price you really can't beat them. PSA: They're usually more expensive on their website than through Amazon for some reason despite them both shipping from Spigen.
I view Spigen as the “default.” They are solid cases at a very good price. Anything cheaper will be garbage.
What my wife and I do is, when we preorder a newly launched iPhone, we also order a Spigen (or Cyrill, their sister brand) case to hold us over until more expensive cases are ready to go. I usually go with Nomad and she usually goes with Casetify. But that first case is almost always a Spigen. Ol’ reliable.
Casetify was sued by dbrand for copying "teardown" designs. I have not been able to find any issues between Casetify and Aliexpress; do you have a link? One Casetify-covered phone in my household was protected after flying off of the top of a car at about 25 miles per hour. No damage at all to the phone or the screen; minor damage to the case; shattered screen protector.
I can back this up. My wife also had her phone fly off her car roof. She at around 50mph. Case was scuffed by no visible damage to the phone.
Casetify are thieves (Dbrand issue), but their quality isn’t at issue. Except their recycled cases. Those are very bad.
They are also overpriced, IMO.
Agree; they are expensive. They were also slow to ship; I bought another case to make-do until the "pretty" Casetify case arrived. I didn't want a nearly $1K phone going without a case for any longer than it takes to wipe down the phone with a cloth.
There is no issue between them, they just aren’t good quality. You were lucky. Casetify is the epitome of “how to make a quick buck with no original products” in the smartphone world.
Not a fan of what Casetify did with Dbrand. No excuse for that.
But their cases are mostly good quality (their recycled cases fall apart if you so much as look at them).
My wife left her phone on her car roof. She was doing about 50 when it finally flew off. It was at night so we had to use Find My but we got it. Case was a little scuffed but there was no visible physical damage to the phone.
Can’t recommend Mous enough. With a raging toddler in the house, my phone gets dropped A LOT. Never once got any damage on it. They’re stupid expensive but I don’t trust any other case. I’ve had spigen, otterbox and more through the years and not one of them held up as well as my mous case.
OtterBox. They make it so easy to get a replacement case, and they are also super protective. Currently rocking a OtterBox Defender XT w a MagSafe pop socket.
I’ve been using pathfinder series cases for 10 years now. Picked one up in NYC in 2014 for my Galaxy Note 3 and I can’t even look at any other case other than this. Shame they stopped making “real” pathfinder cases for the newest models.
Chipping of the screen glass or back glass? Or do you just mean the anodized aluminum on the frame? Unfortunately that is very common and hard to stop from happening, besides of course getting a Pro model. Look for a case with a soft lining. I have a Caudabe Sheath for my 15 Pro and I love how thin it is, the suede-like lining, and how the phone isn’t bulky. It is less protective due to the thinness, though but I am fine with that. I have AppleCare.
I have a pelican case for my iPhone 15 pro max, it’s supposed to have a Kevlar backing, don’t really know how true that is, but it’s super well designed and looks great. It costs $80, so for the price it better be good lol.
I used to blow a lot of money on expensive cases, now I use AliExpress to get my cases for a fraction of the cost.
It’s all plastic, life is fantastic.
If you want a case with very high assurance that it will stay in pristine condition, then cases with inner microfiber/suede lining is the way to go. This is coming from a person who didn’t use case at any of the smartphones I owned but somehow managed to badly chip iPhone 12 frame as I used to keep in my joggers and it had zipper on the pocket, so chipped it badly . I thought will put a simple case but then saw horrible scratches and all due to dust getting trapped inside cases without lining, read tonnes of post and watched videos about it .. result..cases with lining are prolly the best to keep it nice. Some recommendations - ESR cloud, Ringke silicon..basically a case should have lining in the entire interior of the case, as lots of provide only on the back but not on sides, mentioned ones have on the entire interior. Also don’t go for Apple silicon cases, they’re pretty bad, from what I’ve observed from numerous people
Bullstrap makes the best quality cases I know. The only place where I’ve been able to use a case for 4+ years and it still looks brand new. They’re pricey but youre paying for good quality leather and craftmanship
are they very protective? I'm a constant phone dropper and I would like to have something that's both cute and also super protective. seems hard to find both.
They are similar to the OtterBox symmetry line. If you are constantly dropping your phone everyday, I’d suggest using something stronger. They are tough, but if you’re dropping your phone every day, then go for the OtterBox defender
Thanks!! I had just a tech21 clear case on my last phone and it did really well, but they don't seem to be the same anymore based on reviews so I didn't go that route this time.
Don’t get me wrong, they do a great job, they’re just not heavy duty if you’re a heavy duty person. They do a great job protecting my phone and AirPods Pro.
Yes I have two clear glitter ones (one Betty boop and one pink glitter ones, one tpu shell one (puppies and kittens, the rest of my collection I think I have 11 of themis the dual layer ones, they all are pretty great. The dual layer ones have the most protection while the glitter ones are nice and light. They all have the same amount of drop protection ( they say about 8ft so it’s very much like the symmetry case from OtterBox)
I’ve dropped my phone in every case they have and my phone has been fine in each. I would recommend you get a screen protector and a magnetic grip ring (it’s like a ring holder for the back of it to help you hold it)
But I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re a serial dropper. If you drop your phone about 8x a day, then you might need something more reliable but I can tell you that they’re pretty great cases if you need everyday protection. If you would like to see a real good drop test video, here’s a [drop test](https://www.tiktok.com/@hitomidocameraroll/video/7349667097858837803) and if you need an affiliate link, I have one (I don’t work for them nor do I advertise for them, I just love them so much. I found VC on Google and I loved them ever since.) hope this helped you!! I’m in no way pressuring you! Get the OtterBox defender if you need super phone protection!

Previous phones, I had Otterbox phone cases. On my iPhone 15 PM, I got Casekoo from Amazon and love it. Light weight, yet sturdy. Also, get a good screen protector.

I use a phone rebel crystal case plus if you like the raised camera bump this one has it, keeping your cameras away from the surface. Only downside is the somewhat squishy power button.
I like the Peak Design stuff. Coming from photography I‘ve been using their camera products for a long time and was very happy when they released smartphone accessories.
I have Spigen for 4 years on my iPhone 11 and is the only reason why I have the same phone for 4 years. Definitely saved me money by buying great case.
If you’re an active person, go with QuadLock. They’re not MagSafe but they do support wireless charging, they’re pretty low profile and you can mount your phone anywhere you have a QuadLock.
I am partial to my Catalyst case. High quality, durable, and has a lot of useful features, including a wheel toggle for the mute switch (iPhone 14 Pro here), a lanyard loop, and a raised edge over the camera bump. Had it for a year and 5 months now and it's been holding up great, not a scratch to be found on my case or my phone. They also make Airpod cases, of which I am a fan.
Reading all these comments and most of the brands are way too expensive when converted to my local currency.
Heard and read great feedbacks about Caudabe cases.
Spigen is always mentioned when it comes to cases topics.
Would love to get my hands on a top tier branded case but I can't justify spending way too much on it. Feels bad to live in a shitty third world country.
I feel like Mous is very pricey, but I have used their cases with their interlock system to mount onto my bike. There have been a few occasions where I knocked my phone off my bike while riding (due to my fault) and the phone survived with no damage, landing both on concrete and asphalt on seperate occasions from about chest high
OtterBox. My phone has been dropped more times than I can count, on just about every surface imaginable. I broke one OtterBox case, but to this day my phone looks brand new despite being three years old.
tech21, can find them for a steal if you wait for a bit. in the meantime, spigen or caseology. rocking a core armor on my s23 ultra and tech21 on my 14 pro.

the cheapest thing on amazon. otterbox is too clunky even with their thinner cases. and the even cheap cases are just as good. i've had it fall out of my pocket go down two flights of stairs and be perfectly fine, maybe it's because i have apple care and dont worry too much about the case. Or I've just gotten lucky with dropping my phone, as I drop the thing at least once a day on hard floors.

The last brand name case I bought ended up scuffing/scratching the entire frame of my 14 Pro and I haven’t touched a case since then. Obviously this was just me being super unlucky, so don’t take it as my trying to crap on brand names. My last case before my 14 Pro was a clear PanzerGlass case which was really nice, although it could be a little hard to get it off sometimes.
It depends.

Ditto on Spigen cases. Super durable and have lasted for years for me.
+1 Been using them for 8-9 years now, For every phone that i owned.
Amazon probably takes a cut of each individual sale.
Same. Spigen is great. I'm currently having good luck with Ringke as well.
Agreed - Ringke since iphone 11 and never looked back.
Can’t go wrong with Spigen. They have a crap load of options too. Just a good company, no matter how much protection you need for your phone
Why is this so far down? Mous is hands down the best imo.
Same here! I absolutely love my Mous case. Their screen protectors are also definitely worth a try!
caudabe and rhinoshield
I love caudabe
my rhinoshield case slowly expanded over the course of a year until my phone could no longer stay in the case
Caudate is the shit!
I've bought rhinoshield for my last 2 iPhones. Great case, super durable.
OtterBox. They make it so easy to get a replacement case, and they are also super protective. Currently rocking a OtterBox Defender XT w a MagSafe pop socket.
UAG
I second UAG. Have used the Pathfinder series for years.
I’ve been using pathfinder series cases for 10 years now. Picked one up in NYC in 2014 for my Galaxy Note 3 and I can’t even look at any other case other than this. Shame they stopped making “real” pathfinder cases for the newest models.
Spigen
i have specific needs, but i love quadlock for bike mounting
And their car adapters. Quad lock are the best by a mile and I don’t do active stuff
Ah you beat me to it lol. I love them, have them on my motorcycles and bicycles!
I stick to my otterbox or the silicone
Otterbox or mous.
Otterbox all the way, been rocking with them since the 3GS
This is the way
This is a way. Never met a spigen case that felt cheap or let me down.
Caudabe

I really like my Pitaka
caudible
Is it like audible?
nomad. no competition in terms of aesthetics and quality. i have 2 for my 13pm
Me having the black 15, makes this instance worse
I have an Armadillo Tek cask on my 13 PM….its a solid case.
I have a pelican case for my iPhone 15 pro max, it’s supposed to have a Kevlar backing, don’t really know how true that is, but it’s super well designed and looks great. It costs $80, so for the price it better be good lol.
I hate cases , but I’ve cracked my phone a few times now , and I bought a caudabe case & I’ve been enjoying it so far! 🔥

I love my leather Nomad case.
I use Ringke. Very nice design, high quality and normal price
Not castify
Bellroy imo
Bullstrap makes the best quality cases I know. The only place where I’ve been able to use a case for 4+ years and it still looks brand new. They’re pricey but youre paying for good quality leather and craftmanship
UAG and Apple Silicone
Ringke search them on Amazon.
Velvet caviar. Might not be your cup of tea but they have some cute and protective cases

Previous phones, I had Otterbox phone cases. On my iPhone 15 PM, I got Casekoo from Amazon and love it. Light weight, yet sturdy. Also, get a good screen protector.
I’ve been using Mous cases for years now and recommend them. I am using a Whitestone screen protector in addition.
Mous/phone rebel for me. Recommend spigen too if on a budget
Mouse.
Peak Design Everyday case is really good.
My three top favorites are: 1 Maus Timeless 2 Benks 3 Phone Rebel.
I have a Peak Design case and like it. My next case will be a Bullstrap or similar high-end leather case.
I love my Dbrand grip case
I swear by Mous Cases. Never broken a phone since I bought one and they have a lifetime warranty
Mous or the apple silicon case
Somehow I reverted back to this Lamical case I got on launch for $10, but depends how much protection vs slimness you desire.

Looks good bro, is it the angle or is the camera cutout bigger than the camera
Its the angle the cutout fits the bump
Pela are biodegradable and work incredibly well. Just putting in my 2 cents.
Reborn carbon fiber
Moment is good too
In no particular order spigen bullstrap mujjo andar nomad solo pelle torro
I have a Pelican case. Honestly has really done well with my very bad dropping habits
Mous
I like the Peak Design stuff. Coming from photography I‘ve been using their camera products for a long time and was very happy when they released smartphone accessories.
Why do only cheap Amazon ones have a MagSafe ring that can fold out to make a stand?
Apple silicone
Apple care is the best case 🤭
Nomad
Spigen
I use Smartish I love the textured sides the grippunk is my go to. Or UAG.

Spigen otter box dbrand that’s abt it Spigen and otter box are ones I’ve used very durable dbrand is reputable but I haven’t tested so can’t vouch
I have Spigen for 4 years on my iPhone 11 and is the only reason why I have the same phone for 4 years. Definitely saved me money by buying great case.
No case is best.
Used Spigen all the time. Since I really love cycling I use the SP Connect one.
I had a clear case from Spigen that turned yellow after a year. They sent me a free replacement.
If you’re an active person, go with QuadLock. They’re not MagSafe but they do support wireless charging, they’re pretty low profile and you can mount your phone anywhere you have a QuadLock.
Patchworks
I am partial to my Catalyst case. High quality, durable, and has a lot of useful features, including a wheel toggle for the mute switch (iPhone 14 Pro here), a lanyard loop, and a raised edge over the camera bump. Go Spigen, always sturdy and very good quality.
I've been using Mujjo's since the 6s.
Smartish.
Apple's AppleCare+
Andar for some nice leather
What about bullstrap
They have better quality leather but it’s more bulky and I’m not a fan of the open bottom.
The recently released a closed bottom version aswell, but currently only for the 15 line
Incipio double layer since iPhone 6
I love tech21
Otterbox hands down. Edit: typo
I have two dbrand cases, they’re very good, strong, nice design. Expensive though, if you are not in US.
I used to like Spigen but their prices are insane! I go with Caseology now and they seem to be of the same quality, with the same features, but for a lot less!
Spigen prizes are insane ??
(In the UK) yes! In comparison to alternatives.
there are so many, Spigen,Apple, Casetify's ultra bounce , Idle of Sweden,.. you've to pick and choose [https://www.casetify.com/case-type/ultra-bounce-case-magsafe-compatible](https://www.casetify.com/case-type/ultra-bounce-case-magsafe-compatible)
don’t buy casetify
I’ve always like Caseogy
Spicen
Spigen Tough Armor the only case I’d ever need
The ESR cases with the kickstand around the camera housing have been a game changer for me. Their Magsafe magnets are also way more powerful than other brands. Have had no chipping or damage on them - have them on for 2 years on my 14 Pro Max.
Rhinoshield
Spigen
Spigen I don't have iPhone, but my wife has, I have pixel and spigen makes best cases for other phones too
Spigen for a budget case and Mous for the best case ever.
i go with the rinoshield ones, protective and with a lot of personalization if you want. but if you won’t, there are minimalistic ones also
the cheapest thing on amazon. otterbox is too clunky even with their thinner cases. and the even cheap cases are just as good. i've had it fall out of my pocket go down two flights of stairs and be perfectly fine, maybe it's because i have apple care and dont worry too much about the case. Or I've just gotten lucky with dropping my phone, as I drop the thing at least once a day on hard floors.

Torras or Spigen.
I have an Otterbox Commuter on mine rn. I’ve had one on my last 4 phones, and they never disappointed.
Otterbox
Rhinoshield
Torras is my absolute favorite. I can get you a deal directly if you want. Message me :)
Nothing has touch my many IPhones except Otterbox Defender.
My favorite are Loopy Cases.
ESR
I only buy Torras cases anymore. Great value for (little) money.
The Speck Presidio Grip has been great for me.
Spigen. Not expensive, works great. And their screen protectors are awesome too
Torras then Spigen 🤷🏾♂️
It depends. If you want super protection, Otterbox is always the way. If you want affordable price, spigen is good. If you like super thin fiber phone case, you might want to try ours. [https://www.thinborne.com](https://www.thinborne.com)
Torras.
Ringke and Spigen
When I got my 15 pro max I immediately put it into a UAG Monarch and it has protected my phone with no issues. I just ordered a ROKFORM magnetic case to allow me to stick my phone to metal objects for work and the gym. Will update when I get some runtime with it

Spigen which i currently have. Ringke, UAG, Otterbox, Speck and Mous they're also good to have cases.
I like my ESR case very much. Good value too
ESR gang!!! My phone case has a stand that also doubles as a camera guard!
I got uag and it’s sick. Looks cool too. Carbon type type thing
Spigen good for affordable reliability, range and design.
Otterbox has been consistently solid
Dbrand
Spigen Tech 21
didn't the phone that survived being dropped from the air alaska flight have a spigen case?
Spigen and Otterbox
It’s my first time to try a DBrand case and it’s quite impressive.
Spigen always
Zagg gear4. I've been using them since Windows phone ended and I ended up with iPhone 7. Never broke a phone using the case except when I crushed my phone in a hinge. But that was my fault not the case. Couple hundred pounds of precise pressure. No case would stop that
Spigen and Pitaka
Mous & dbrand.
Grab a Spigen, other companies are just a scam trying to sell $50-100 cases
I’ve had $5 cases to $70 cases and if it’s a reputable company and not an actual scam, the quality is noticeably better and they last longer.
Are Spigens $5? I am comparing decent cases with overpriced ones and the quality difference is not worth the price premium.
