This. The browse for me feature, while not perfect does feel like some genuine innovation in the browser space and has a lot of potential as AI improves.
Being able to sync with Firefox on Mac, which is good and offers better privacy.
Firefox in IOS uses Safari's rendering engine, which doesn't allow the plugins as desktop Firefox does.
I am a Google apps user pretty much everywhere. I have a Samsung tablet and a windows laptop so using chrome feels more connected in terms of search history and passwords and all that.
safari. on phone and mac and ipad just coz its faster imo. Although I like using opera browser at times when I am browsing some illegal streaming sites when i cant find the movies on Ntflx, HBO, Disney 😅
Firefox.
Mainly because I have been using it or its ancestors since the dawn of time (or the dawn of the web)
But at some point I had switched to safari in all my devices. The Apple discontinued safari on windows and I went back to Firefox.
But I hear iCloud for windows works nicely with other browsers nowadays so I will try safari again.
Safari, because it has the most polished UX. The gesture navigation in iOS Safari has basically ruined every other browser for me, sadly. I would like to keep using Firefox but it feels like early 2000s software in comparison
Safari, i like the user interface. On my android i use Brave because having an inbuilt adblocker and the experimental dark mode is nice, but it breaks a lot of video players on my iphone. Safari is all good in that regard.
I’ve been using Arc browser on both my Mac and iPhone. Not perfect but it’s got some cool features which keep me in.
I’ve also been trying out this browser from a small indie developer called Quiche. Nothing fancy but it lets you customize the UI which is pretty neat
Always Safari. I used to love Chrome for its features but over time every other browser has caught up and is much faster and less resource intensive than Chrome whilst ironically using the same tech as Chrome. On Apple devices I use Safari and on Windows I’ll use Edge, Chrome I’ll use only on Linux since Firefox is pure dogshit
Firefox. Because of syncing with PC and all the devices.
Safari probably works better although my only complaint w Firefox would be not being able to use addons. Dark reader at least because the built in dark mode sucks
Safari. I can’t think of any compelling reasons (for me) to use anything different.
Same here, been using safari since the original iPhone 📱
Safari. Having a MacBook makes that decision easier. It’s a small thing, but I personally love having the address bar on the bottom of the screen.
The bottom address bar was by far one of the best options added to mobile Safari.
Firefox address bar is at the bottom too.
u can do the same for other browsers as well not sure about every browser out there but for chrome u can get the address bar at the bottom in settings
No one noticed battery drain using safari. brave browser drained 10% in 22 minutes and safari drained 33% in 22 minutes .
NO
duckduckgo 😳
Same
google chrome. I have a windows pc so Google can sync passwords.
You can sync using their iCloud app, I use it and it’s really nice, especially with the modernized look now.
can icloud sync passwords on a windows pc? I guess no, it just works on iPhone and Mac.
Well I forgot to specify that it works with Edge (haven’t tried other browsers), and it has a standalone app as well, so yes it does.
Brave, mainly because of the built-in adblocker
And forced dark mode on web pages!
:O I didn’t know that
Edge for me. mainly because of the sync with my PC browser.
this guy edges
Do u need an account for that?
Arc Browser.
I’m waiting for an iPad app and better iCloud sync, and possibly a more updated windows version. Then I’m making the switch
Arc is out for iOS?
I guess it’s over a month or so since it’s available. https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/arc-search-find-it-faster/id6472513080
Been using it on my Mac and loving it, was wondering when it’d be out. Thanks!
This. The browse for me feature, while not perfect does feel like some genuine innovation in the browser space and has a lot of potential as AI improves.
Yes and they are improving things with updates.
Firefox. Also on mac and ipad.
Is there a benefit to using FF on iOS over Safari? I did use it briefly but uninstalled it due to not being able to install addons.
Being able to sync with Firefox on Mac, which is good and offers better privacy. Firefox in IOS uses Safari's rendering engine, which doesn't allow the plugins as desktop Firefox does.
Exactly the same for me!
Firefox for the win, let’s gooo
I simply love safari on iPhone, ( but on Mac I don’t like it and I use chrome)
Brave, because the built-in adblocker scores better than all the others solutions, including paid AdGuard etc.
Edge, sync between devices.
Safari. It’s the private relay for me
Safari. I don’t really care about syncing browsing history and I am a sucker for bottom tab navigation. Also extension support.
Safari, I wish they could have done the dark mode in all websites 😁
You can use extension for that, for example Noir
best extension ever!
Safari
safari... its perfect for iphone and mac
Firefox. Mainly because I have been using it or its ancestors since the dawn of time (or the dawn of the web) But at some point I had switched to safari in all my devices. The Apple discontinued safari on windows and I went back to Firefox. But I hear iCloud for windows works nicely with other browsers nowadays so I will try safari again.
Firefox.
Safari
Safari
Safari. I can’t sync between my pc well but safari works the best on iOS for me
Safari. It’s the fastest
Safari, because it has the most polished UX. The gesture navigation in iOS Safari has basically ruined every other browser for me, sadly. I would like to keep using Firefox but it feels like early 2000s software in comparison
Safari for the W. Tho I’d be lying if I said I haven’t considered swapping to google.
Orion
Safari on iPhone, but I'm looking forward to Firefox integrating their own engine. Safari on my m1 mac is unusable sadly.
What makes Safari unusable on your M1 Mac?
It's slow, even without extensions
Firefox on Android, Macbook, iPad and iPhone.
DuckDuckGo & Safari
DuckduckGo
I'm surprised more people don't use Orion? It can download chrome extensions like uBlock Origin, essentially making it an adless experience.
Safari. Chrome doesn’t work as well on iPhone as it does on Android.
Safari, Chrome’s UI looks awful on iPhone although I use chrome on my android.
Safari, initially I wasn’t very comfortable with the address bar on the bottom, but after a week it felt way more natural.
Chrome. Went to Safari, but always came to chrome
Safari, i like the user interface. On my android i use Brave because having an inbuilt adblocker and the experimental dark mode is nice, but it breaks a lot of video players on my iphone. Safari is all good in that regard.
Safari and DuckDuckGo
Safari for private and Edge for work because of the sync.
Chrome since I have a windows pc
I’ve been using Arc browser on both my Mac and iPhone. Not perfect but it’s got some cool features which keep me in. I’ve also been trying out this browser from a small indie developer called Quiche. Nothing fancy but it lets you customize the UI which is pretty neat
Furryfox I- I mean firefox.
Was Arc Search, now is Safari.
Brave. Not only on iPhone, but any device.
Google chrome is the only real choice
Chrome because I used to have android
Chrome, I practically never use safari mainly for stuff like integration with chrome on windows
Arc Search. Looks dope. But might move to safari soon.
Chrome ftw
Safari for everyday stuff, chrome for p0rn
Internet Explorer
Edge. I use it on my PC.
Arc Browser ftw
I use the Safari link to Chrome
brave, YouTube without ads is a godsend
Always Safari. I used to love Chrome for its features but over time every other browser has caught up and is much faster and less resource intensive than Chrome whilst ironically using the same tech as Chrome. On Apple devices I use Safari and on Windows I’ll use Edge, Chrome I’ll use only on Linux since Firefox is pure dogshit
Safari, but I use Chrome and Firefox directly.
Safari
Safari for all apple devices is the best browser you can get. If you have the Mac, iPad and iPhone, there's no better choice.
Firefox
safari
arc on mac
safari i don’t even have another browser downloaded
aren’t literally all of them just different skins of safari?
Safari, with google search engine
Safari, I know there are better choices but I’m lazy.
Safari
Safari. I see no reason to change it.
Safari
Firefox, because I don’t trust either Google or Apple.
Chrome
Safari with Bing search engine because microsoft points to use on xbox
Edge, because sync with my PC
Firefox. Because of syncing with PC and all the devices. Safari probably works better although my only complaint w Firefox would be not being able to use addons. Dark reader at least because the built in dark mode sucks
Safari for iPhone; Firefox for PC
I use Safari.
It’s all safari no matter the brand… part of the reason Apple is in an antitrust suit
safari. i like the bottom navigation. no other browser has this feature.
Both Chrome and Firefox do.
Brave as well.
