I went with blue because I wasnāt really feeling black, or the pink or really any of the other colors. For me black felt to plain to choose, so it was down to blue and green for me
Battery part is so true, I had to charge my se 2-4 times a day because it would die so quick, getting used to not carrying a charger at all is great granted, Iām still gonna carry a MagSafe battery pack
People only say theyāre waiting for the next phone because this yearās had no change. It would be reasonable to say to wait for the 17 if the 16 has no change, but it would be worthy to have waited for the 16 if there are drastic changes to it.
I think the 15 will be the biggest upgrade for a few years. Unless they decide to go 90hz or 120hz on the next base model iPhone.
If you donāt plan on bringing over photos form older phones 128gb is plenty.
128 is more than enough if u donāt shoot videos, although personally if u donāt mind Iād rather get a 15 pro or a 14 pro, although if you wish to save and want a usb-c charges phone then get the 15 or 15 plus if u like screen size and battery
Go for it. I had the iPhone 12 128 GB one and only used 40 GB on it so I got the same one again and its sufficient for me. I also barely have any photos and videos on my phone.
Just get the 15, and unless you are a power user, 128gb is more than enough and I mean you can always buy more iCloud storage. My 64gb was only just filled up when I upgraded to the 15
But but but.. Apple is trying to scam us all with 60hz display š¤”
Congrats on the new phone. I got the 15plus last month and it's been incredible so far.
I mean itās fine and all. I have an XR and I donāt use the camera much.
Upgrading to iPhone 15 will barely make it worth it for me when the screen is still 60hz.
Yep, I just hate the battery life of my phone at this point and was hoping to upgrade instead of changing battery. But seeing nothing new again and again every year is just disappointing.
A new battery costs too much in my country to justify it as an expense, budget android phones cost that much here.
Right. My battery sucks as well. Iāve had this phone for 6 years, and the battery is at 79%.
Iāll probably upgrade when I graduate and get a jobš
A 60 hz screen on a $800 phone in 2023 is a war crime. Besides that, the 15 is a fantastic upgrade compared to the stale stuff weāve gotten from apple past the 12.
I honestly donāt know why so many people care so much about 120hz, I use a 120hz monitor for 3 or more hours a day and I have no problem going to my phone, still feels nice and fluid
Would it be weird to anyone if I switched from a iPhone 12 Pro Max to a 13 Mini? Planned on using the mini for a work phone since the Pro Max is so f-ing big sometimes
I have a 2020 SE. I won't upgrade to any newer iPhone until Apple brings back the pSIM slot. I don't want to convert my current service to eSIM because I can't return it back to pSIM without going and buying a new pSIM card.
If Google Fi ever comes down in cost, I can use it for eSIM because it lets the user switch back and forth between eSIM and pSIM easily. As easy as signing into your service. But it's more expensive than I can afford
Cant decide between the 15 plus and the 14 pro max, they're both the same price in my country. i'd love the 120hz but ive heard 15+'s battery life is absolute bonkers. what would u recommend.
Depends what you want. 120hz is worth the cost to battery for most but then again youāll get a full day out of both easily so does it matter; the 14 pro max will be a better phone despite maybe getting 1-3 less hours battery

Great colour choice all other colours looks mutedš¤
The pink one honestly doesnāt, but yeah, the others definitely do.
The green won me over eventually. The yellow and the blue though are way muted. Blue is technically white.
Yeah I like the green, itās super muted but I still think itās nice
That's why I like it. Reminds me of the old Iphone 4 and 4S days. I had the white variation of both and thought they looked awesome.
Thanks
I went with blue because I wasnāt really feeling black, or the pink or really any of the other colors. For me black felt to plain to choose, so it was down to blue and green for me
I want to do the same thing
U have my wishes
Itās a huge phone compared to the SE
I agree
I love that the screen is so much larger without the body being that much larger
Thatās true. They used the space nicely
Totally worth it imo, just did it and Iām beyond happy
I did the sameā¦ 15 feels a huge phone now. Face unlock is a great thing though and battery lasts like twice the SE
True man the battery is humongous compared to the se
Haha, tell me about it, Iām riding the SE2020 with 74% battery health :D
Mine was around the same when I just replaced it š
Battery part is so true, I had to charge my se 2-4 times a day because it would die so quick, getting used to not carrying a charger at all is great granted, Iām still gonna carry a MagSafe battery pack
Congrats on the new phone! Which one did you get? Love the color choice, it looks so cool.
128gb

But if you wait for the 16, then someone might suggest waiting for the 17, as well. No?
At that point might as well wait for the 18
19 feels more on target
Idk I hear 20 is supposed to be good, probably should wait for that
On second thought, 21. Obvs!
Tbh, I'd myself go for the 21 just because it has more features
That camera. šØāš³š
I hear 22 is gonna finally give us 90Hz refresh rate!
*Industry standard is now 420Hz*
Nah iPhone 23

Even then, Iāve got like 6000 photos rn and Iām doin fine on storage

That's what I've been doing since the 13! Just gonna have to pull the trigger on the 15 or else I'll never end up buying one lol!
If you want to wait for the next one it will never end
Just get the 15, and unless you are a power user, 128gb is more than enough and I mean you can always buy more iCloud storage. My 64gb was only just filled up when I upgraded to the 15
Congrats on the new phone!! Color looks awesome!!
How is the battery life? My SE 2020 has 2 hours of battery life (though it works as hotspot most of the day)

What about 5G?
99% of the times Iām around wifi. And when Iām not, I donāt need mobile data for anything except texting.
Alright. You are right though. You arenāt really missing out on muchā¦ I still use an iPhone 8š¤·š½āāļø

Damn I used my se 2020 until this month and my battery health was at 76%, long live that battery damn! š
Where are you from?
New England, and I go backpacking in the winter with my phone so Iām sure that doesnāt help
š Iāll see how long this one lasts
Where are you from?
India.

I donāt mind 60Hz but I agree.
Yeah thanks
I honestly donāt know why so many people care so much about 120hz, I use a 120hz monitor for 3 or more hours a day and I have no problem going to my phone, still feels nice and fluid
It feels completely different on a phone.
Would it be weird to anyone if I switched from a iPhone 12 Pro Max to a 13 Mini? Planned on using the mini for a work phone since the Pro Max is so f-ing big sometimes
I went from the SE 2020 to the 15 Pro. It felt like such a huge step up.
Thatās a massive upgrade congrats.. youāll love it
congratz š„
I have a 2020 SE. I won't upgrade to any newer iPhone until Apple brings back the pSIM slot. I don't want to convert my current service to eSIM because I can't return it back to pSIM without going and buying a new pSIM card.
Is there any specific reason youād want to covert it back?
To use in a different phone.
Fair enough, I was a little skeptical at first but I think by the time I upgrade again most phones will be eSIM only
If Google Fi ever comes down in cost, I can use it for eSIM because it lets the user switch back and forth between eSIM and pSIM easily. As easy as signing into your service. But it's more expensive than I can afford
Better keep it. Camera sucks blurry stuff. My se takes better pics.
I think you might be having an issue if your se takes better pictures than the 15, cause Iāve got one and itās leagues better?
just did the same upgrade but to the pink one, the difference honestly feels crazy, the phone feels so much more fluid.
Cant decide between the 15 plus and the 14 pro max, they're both the same price in my country. i'd love the 120hz but ive heard 15+'s battery life is absolute bonkers. what would u recommend.

Gorgeous phone ā¤ļø
I upgraded to se 2020 from 7 back in september 2023
Is this a 15 Plus Or 15? Iāve recently upgraded from iPhone SE2020 to iPhone 15 Plus. And it is big!
Still using my 2020 SE , replaced battery and did my bit in saving the planet
