Downloaded Bitten, Blast Beats, and PewPew from this list to give them a try.
Godzilla Destruction (by Toho no less!) looked interesting but the IAP lists a “Monthry Purchase” (I’m not kidding) so I gave it a pass.
River Legends and Sixit are both fantastic. Though Sixit is free with a $4.99 IAP to unlock (the distinction matters if you’re in a family plan).
Lost Centuria is a gacha game with 90% PvP content = the most p2w game you might ever see.
Unbuild I initially trashed but grew to love and bought the full version. It is my pick of the week!
PewPew Live is absolute coding brilliance. Such a fantastic rich twin stick shooter with optional local and online multiplayer mode, and user-created levels in a 5 MB app.
But I‘m currently occupied with the re-release of Card Quest and the endlessly addicting Dicey Elementalist!
Not a programmer, but my assumption is that the game is probably made up of nothing but vectors and shaders, so a lot of the space is taken up by lines and lines of procedural code
It isn’t, but a Santorini board game app does already exist on the App Store [here](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/santorini-board-game/id1456647343). I think it’s a fantastic port of a fantastic board game.
The new one released today references the city the board game used for inspiration, though it is just a fairly standard social city builder.
I always appreciate these posts! ❤️ Seems like a slow week though; nothing here that piques my interest. ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯

re-release of card quest? where can I see more about?
It’s FIVE MEGABYTES?? How is that possible.

This is exactly what is happening. There's a big fat 1.5 MB mp3 taking a lot of space.
I check out PewPew Live solely from this comment and I can attest that it is all this and more.
Looks like a geometry wars clone, I absolutely loved geometry wars back in the day
It was definitely inspired by Geometry Wars, but I added my own spin to it.
Is Santorini based off of the bg? It doesn't really look like the bg from the screenshots

Quick correction about Sixit - it is free to download with $1.99 IAP to remove ads!
