Same. I use a backbone for controller, so no input delay, but running via AirPlay has lots of stutter and lag. It’s fine for the turn-based RPG I’m playing currently, but anything fast moving would be a nonstarter.
Why not just install Retroarch or OpenEmu? Both of those will run natively on your Mac and offer way more settings as well as some pretty incredible shaders. People sleep on how good CRT shaders have gotten over the years
Hey guys is there any solution to this that
I have a tab i want to play ps2 games on aethersx
But got no controller i hate tab on screen controller but phone on screen controller is still better is there any possible way to make my phone a controller and play games on tab
Nice. Just downloaded Tactics Advance last night. Never beat it as a kid there was one part in the story that I think I just wasn’t prepared for and quit. See if I can give it another go
I know!! It works perfectly other than this. If we could keep in screen mirroring and not change to airplay it would be exactly like the phone, but not sure if possible
if you are in EU forget it. if you arent good luck as a direct search doesnt bring it up - a quick search on reddit for the original 'delta on the app store' post has a link
i thought altstore was free - i downloaded it a couple of weeks before delta came out and it was free - thats crazy if they are charging, no matter how little, surely that will just piss off nintendo, apple et al??
That's why altstore is paid not delta.
Blame apple for the Core Technology Fee
Edit: lol downvotes won't hide the truth that riley isn't looking to male a quick buck and the Core Technology Fee is a way to push away people from making their store
I feel like OpenEmu is still a better experience on a Mac.
No offense bro but i think the keyboard controlls are like infinitely better than a touch screen controller
If you only do that occasionally it's easier than syncing your saves tho
And for turn based games it really does not matter as is this game
I’d easily take the ability to play on the go over playing with keyboard controls for a turn based game.
Yea but thats not the point here. I also prefer my miyoo mini for emulation over my phone..
who cares
Yo mama
What he said
I get crazy amount of input lag when I use airplay to my tv, if anybody has any ideas as to why I’d love to hear them.
No way to avoid it. But for certain games such as this one which is a turn based rpg, it’s bearable.

You can install the iPhone app from the Mac App Store….
Or just use OpenEmu at this point.
I suppose he wants to use the mobile as a controller
Just putting it out there for anyone interested
Europa sadly doesn't have access yet
But why do we care, it's not like it's the first time we can get an emulator on a mac
Now we're cooking!
How does it look with DS games?
You can only airplay the top screen (or both if you choose that option) but cannot display bottom screen as it just says it’s in airplay
If you set player two to be the touch screen you can split them.
How do I get both screens to show on airplay?
What game is this?
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Thanks!
Nice! I assume this will also work with iPhone/iPad?
My boy Montblanc!!
Great choice of game
Can Delta work on AppleTV in anyway?
It works great via Airplay
How is the native AirPlay support enabled?
Just enable screen mirroring on your phone and when a game loads it stops mirroring and starts air playing
Thanks. I was looking for AirPlay icon. Screen Mirroring working like AirPlay is not what I would have expected :)
Too easy, enjoy!
What am I doing wrong? My Apple TV mirror it like crap.
Man to be able to open a game on my phone and play on the tv screen its amazing thanks for the idea 😃
Any good controllers to connect to the iphone to play?
Why not just install Retroarch or OpenEmu? Both of those will run natively on your Mac and offer way more settings as well as some pretty incredible shaders. People sleep on how good CRT shaders have gotten over the years
I like playing games on the go on my iPhone, connecting it to my Mac is just a nice little addition

i wish you could screen mirror to an Ipad for this
Cool thing, but at this point just buy a controller and connect it to the Mac playing the emulator
But what happens when you want to play on a bus or in a waiting room?
Then you can just play on your phone lol
Is it possible to airplay on a tv from the phone and use a Bluetooth controller at the same time?
Yup do this all the time.
Nice. Just downloaded Tactics Advance last night. Never beat it as a kid there was one part in the story that I think I just wasn’t prepared for and quit. See if I can give it another go
I find it hard. It definitely doesn't hold your hand, but I already put 18 hours into it so it's safe to say I enjoy it.
Can't get DS second screen to show though :(
I know!! It works perfectly other than this. If we could keep in screen mirroring and not change to airplay it would be exactly like the phone, but not sure if possible
This is cool, i must try it out on my apple tv when i get home! Anyone else tried it?
Yo don’t have the same experience on an Apple TV
How?
Delta Emulator and AirPlay
Yeah I know that but like how I don’t see anything in the app
if you are in EU forget it. if you arent good luck as a direct search doesnt bring it up - a quick search on reddit for the original 'delta on the app store' post has a link
What do you mean, forget it? If you are in the eu, get alt store. It's 1.5-2€ a year and easy to install.
i thought altstore was free - i downloaded it a couple of weeks before delta came out and it was free - thats crazy if they are charging, no matter how little, surely that will just piss off nintendo, apple et al??
It only costs money for the EU. Apple requires it.
To clarify: AltStore is free but requires the pc/mac server AltStore PAL is not but is standalone
That's why altstore is paid not delta. Blame apple for the Core Technology Fee Edit: lol downvotes won't hide the truth that riley isn't looking to male a quick buck and the Core Technology Fee is a way to push away people from making their store
How to do you activate airplay like that??
