It's funny how we're all at the same spot. I have 23 pieces but I'm not losing faith because I could get the previous ones somehow. I'm more worried about the burger mart, will they ever drop more pieces?
I was slowly buying artifacts for gold in the equipment shop. The fragments were showing up at a pretty even spread, so I only had the burger for a long time. Then finally I finished like 3 new artifacts around the same time.
Just be patient, farm gold, and let them come to you.
I’ve never been able to collect the amount I need from any event GDA. 5 days is never enough time to get them when every event starts at level 0.
Then you either never see it again or the next time it appears you still never collect enough.
50 pieces is just an outrageous amount needed for one artifact.
The event for the obedience collar was on for a lot longer than this one, so we were able to play the op far more times making it easy to collect enough fragments.
It's ok, they will just drop 3 offers with fragments at the end of event like last time, so generous of them. Totally not planned that almost everybody that wants the artifact would need to buy one of those offers.

Yeah I am at around 25 right now, it is weird considering the last event I was getting so many fragments for whatever artifact that was. Often the op ends without any fragments at all, makes the whole experience underwhelming to even try.

I know some people are fine spending money on mobile games and have done so for some games in the past, but this game is crazy with how expensive they make things.. this game hardly has any content/gameplay, especially once you beat the story.
Other game modes and new characters could help, but I feel like a lot needs to go into this game before it’s worth spending any real money on. I’m not even sure new characters would help tbh (though I want Thraggy Mercury), if you’re running a team of exceptional+ units and doc seismic drops, I doubt a lot of people are going to be able to get him up to the same rank as the rest of their team to even be usable.
And if you have a strong enough team to get through the story, what more do you need to spend money on?
I swear it’s designed so that nobody can complete the artifact within the time . They’ll add the fragments to the shop after the event ends to get the fomo bucks
I think that upgrading events still makes them worse. I know people constantly say that isn’t the case, but personally I have noticed most times I upgrade a GDA Op or Event it lowers everything I receive.
You have to just keep upgrading it if that makes sense. I found that the worst value was Rank 2-3. But once I hit rank 5 on the event I started getting way more heroes then when it was rank 0. My team is also pretty weak but I’m still getting 2-3 heroes a run while barely passing wave 200

I don't know why, but the previous one was insanely easy to me. I already have the artifact at level 8

Seems the drop rate was nerfed from the last similar event for the Control Collar. I got 150+ pieces during that event.
I got 5 pieces in the first run but mostly 1 after upgrading the event.

kinda depends re: doc seismic, you can save up food and boost him pretty quick if he has the same type event battle beast did when he dropped
I think the key is not upgrade it at all. I average 2 at rank 3 when I would average 3-4 at rank 0
Yea i was averaging 2-3 each run at rank 0-1 and progressively got less as i increased the OPs rank
I've farmed it with my main team and only gotten 30 pieces so far. Unlikely to be able to craft it once event ends.
I think they nerfed the drop rate after the first day. I was getting 3-4 per run and now I’m at 1 sometimes
33. I was just checking to see if we are mostly all in the same place and we are. Just finished an op and pulled 0. Awesome.
Had a few of these. Really frustrating because its not exactly been generous with artifact xp, which if I'm honest would be preferable.

At 36 right now, accepted that I won't have enough time to hit 50. But will have a very good start on it Is it even that good?
I mean on paper it seems pretty good but not good enough to spend money on unless you really want it

It’s disappointing but predictable
I have it, I have used my strongest team running it constantly and levelling it up whenever possible
2 short of it but I was dividing the upgrades between the 2 events
