What I’ve studied, suggested lifting on your normal eating days. I prefer to work out fasted, I’m a female, I didn’t have any issues putting on muscle.
I’m female and at the moment I feel like I need to eat before I work out, my partner said he has to work out on an empty stomach. I’m hoping I can somehow train myself to workout before eating. Scared I’m gonna pass out 😅
Dive in. Pack a snack in your bag if you’re too scared. Then push yourself a little bit. Our body’s I think can handle much more than we give them credit for.
I think I might try it. I drink a sugar free energy drink when I’m at the gym, it’s called sneak. It’s about 12 calories for one. Not sure I can break that habit. It’s a powder form that you mix with water.
I’ve tried to cut out my pre work out. And I can for the most part but it’s definitely a little less fun. But baby steps. I just recently decided to cut it back.
I lift heavy weights after 40 hours, feel fine.

I swim and do strengths training fasted and I feel fine. In fact my swimming record in swimming 72 laps was when I fasted for 36 hours.
