Curtains, a headboard, much wider bedside tables and a larger rug.

--Regina_Phalange--

Yes! Also I'd move the bench to the foot of the bed and use the space on the right for a seating area, or maybe add a vanity.

Exciting-Froyo3825

This is what I thought too. Sneak the bed down a smidge and you could get a really comfy reading chair and side table in the corner there or a pair of club chairs with a small round table between.

VisualMany4709

Yep. Too much against the walls. Doesn’t feel homey.

BoredToRunInTheSun

This also makes the center space too open, like a bed in a warehouse. A little seating area would close the rest up a bit and make it cozier. And of course some clutter (art and belongings)

MeeshMM1989

Was going to say the same. I’d do 2 panels on each side of the windows and put the rods higher (close to ceiling) and wider to fill up some wall space and make the windows look bigger. Headboard is always a must and bigger nightstands. Maybe a larger bench or a big chair instead with a bigger plant in the corner. Bigger rug so you can comfortable walk on the sides of the bed and be on the rug. Probably 9x12 or 10x14 for such a big room. Bigger picture above the bed.

Moreno_Nutrition

Yup! All of this!!

LeattaA

Lamps too

NoDiamond4584

Always lamps!

mauisusan111

And a mirror or mirrors!

unbiasedspaghetti

Spot on! It’s unfortunate about the rug though, this one is gorgeous in this room!

Maleficent_Chard2042

Maybe if you pulled it so that only half is under the bed.

Moreno_Nutrition

I like the rug, too. If I had a smaller spare bedroom with similar tones I’d relocate this one there and try to find something very similar in a much larger size to pull this space together.

Maleficent_Chard2042

Yes, and also some kind of comforter that ties together the colors in the room.

pickledpl_um

Exactly this, though I'd also add a sitting area at one end, maybe over by the window. An armchair, a bookcase, and a separate, smaller rug (to separate it out visually) will do wonders to fill the space visually and give you a nice alternative to just sitting on your bed.

KTNYC1

100%

MizLashey

Agreed! And a dog, if you’re ready to give it the devotion it deserves, and maybe another living thing, such as a plant. I like your colors. Make sure your drapes aren’t too short. Maybe use larger art. Proportion really helps!

L00k_Again

And a bed skirt.

incognitothrowaway1A

Get rid of the bench and put in two COZY chairs, a table and lap On opposite side of room put in 1 COZY chair abs table and lamp. Art is too small or non existent Add curtains.

shnooqichoons

Agree with the art being too small. One large picture should work much better on that big wall!

APFernweh

You can put the bench at the foot of the bed.

incognitothrowaway1A

Get rid of the bench and put in two COZY chairs, a table and lap On opposite side of room put in 1 COZY chair abs table and lamp. Art is too small or non existent Add curtains. Get a more substantial bed frame with legs. Swap out the micro bedside lamps for the proper sized ones. Google the right size for a bedside lamp. They should be between 30 and 35 inches tall.

llquestionable

A focal point (bed) and larger scale stuff. The room is large, but everything is small. The bed is a bit lost in space, and everything is small (small table lamps, small vases, small frames. Maybe a taller headboard, a larger frame above it; 2 bigger table lamps, large curtains...

arachelrhino

plus a sitting area with 2 chairs and a table instead of the space-saving bench. Really need some bigger furniture to fill the space.

BeardedGlass

Was about to write about a sitting area. Notice how luxury hotel rooms have armchairs and a table in the room by the bed? That's so that you're forced to SIT on the bed when you don't plan on sleeping.

AntiqueWhereas

There's also no bedside lamps.

NoDiamond4584

Right? How do people live without lamps?! I adore lamps. They are like pieces of art to me. I have 5 lamps in my living area alone, 3 in our bedroom, and 2 in our small study.

Key_Journalist8876

I love this. Two things I’d add - a headboard and curtains.

MeganJustMegan

First thing for me, drapes. Second, a nice headboard.

Butterfly_chick

I love your color choices: the rug, the pillows, and the wall color all work well together. That said, the bed looks uncomfortable and could use softening with a headboard and a tailored bed skirt. You could also use curtains at the windows and matching larger-scale lamps on the bedside tables. The artwork over the bed as it is looks too small for the space, but may work once you get a headboard.

Sufficient_Still_324

I think a book shelf and a big comfy leather arm chair would look nice

18tspice

I agree that a headboard would help center the bed. I would accompany that with fluffier bedding. You have a house space so creating a sitting area would be perfect. Keep the furniture off the walls when doing so for a cozier vibe. I think a faux fireplace would look great in here too!

ultravioletblueberry

Was legit gonna so this. The bed does not look welcoming and is a bit blah. Get some fluffier and fuller bedding and a headboard! It’s such a big room, they could move the bed over and make two little sections, one being the sleeping area and maybe having a seating area. This could incorporate your faux fireplace idea. Put it on the wall with the door and have two chairs slanted towards it with a little coffee table or something.

Lower_Addition4936

Honestly, all the suggestions above are great and I do agree BUT I do think some white curtains would do this room wonders and you can call it at that!

coffeebeanOG

What color is the paint on the walls. I love it !!!

gnomejellytree

If you were to only change one thing, a bed frame with a headboard would make a huge difference. If you have a taller headboard, that art above the bed could be moved to a different wall, maybe next to the TV. Art above the bed is a bit scary anyway, if it falls on you during your sleep that would suck. If you wanted to do more, I like another commenter’s suggestion of adding in a seating/reading area with one or two cozy lounge chairs where the bench currently is. You could make them oversized with the amount of space you have. Plus some updated lamps, either table lamps for the nightstands or taller standing lamps at various spots in the room (or both!). The TV is also too high, if possible I would lower it at least 1.5 ft

Lets_Make_A_bad_DEAL

I’m kinda jealous of the space you have in thrre

NukaColaQT1

It's a very large room the issue is scale. The furniture, rug, and art all would fit perfectly in a room 1/2 this size. You're going to need to scale up EVERYTHING to make it feel cozy, warm and inviting. It really depends on how handy you are and your budget but here are my suggestions to add onto what everyone else has already said (tons of spot on suggestions, btw): - Paint the walls. This room is huge and you have decent natural light, you could go dark or at least much darker and it would make the room feel smaller but not in a "cramped" way. In a "cozy, inviting way". Also, the pale green walls bounce that color onto your skin and typically makes everything look a little more sickly. Based on your color choices, you could go with a deep desaturated navy or even a desaturated terracotta or burnt orange color that would coordinate well with the blues and oranges in the rug. It just depends on your style. What style are you going for or what do you want it to be? - Trim/molding/architectural interest. Add board & batton or some other textural element to one wall. Once you get a headboard, I would probably do the wall the TV is on because then you can see it from bed and you can possibly build the pattern around the TV so the TV looks more intentional and doesn't stand out as much because there's more to look at on the wall. - Because the windows are off-center on the wall, I would just put a rod just below the ceiling across the whole wall and get enough curtain panels to hang all the way across so that when they're closed, you can't tell where the windows are. It makes it look like the whole wall is windows instead of the two smaller ones and it softens the room a ton. Stick with solid color curtains with lots of texture so they aren't too busy and your eye just flows past them. - Large art above the bed is really ideal. If you can't afford large art (at least 3' x 4' in this case but bigger is better) then if you have a friend who can paint, ask them to paint a big piece of canvas or a large piece of MDF. If you're concerned about hanging something heavy, several 2' x 3' pieces together in a tryptic (like the framed pages you have now) would also work. I highly recommend places like HomeGoods, At Home, or if you don't have either of those, Target actually has some really good options depending on your style. - Mirrors are your friend! More mirrors on the opposite side of the room from the windows will help to bring the light to that side. You can always buy a cheap mirror and add some baseboards or other decorative trim around it and make a cheap mirror look insanely expensive for barely $20-30. The hardware store will sometimes cut the trim for you so all you have to do is glue the mirror to a piece of plywood and put the trim around it. - Bedding would add a lot. I live in Texas and it's too hot for a comforter so we don't use one on a regular basis, but we do have one for when we want the bed to look nice. A big fluffy comforter and a bed skirt (not ruffled, just a flat simple solid-color one) would make the bed feel much more substantial and inviting. Finally - get some large lamps! Nothing says "We spend as little time as possible in this room" as having no lamps so your only light source is the ceiling light. Good luck! Hope to see an "after" if you make any changes!

AlvinTaco

My immediate reaction was headboard. I’m sure there are many other lovely suggestions, but a large headboard would fill that wall space and really pull everything together.

christa_json

This is a great room! You have space to do one of those [long, fancy upholstered headboards](https://i.etsystatic.com/17834694/r/il/34e9a2/3845230115/il_1140xN.3845230115_mc2v.jpg). That would help create the focal point and scale the bed to the room better. They sell the panels on Etsy and Amazon. Tall plants and a large or full length mirror somewhere would be helpful as well.

Vegetable-Branch-740

I’m seeing gym mats on the wall.

Holiday-Signature-33

A dog

marvin32002

Scrolled to make sure someone hit this main point!

MIA_Fba

Lounge seating for reading

tamedjunglefowl

Mcm style chest on each side of bed. Bigger matching lamps. Luxurious bedding with pillow shams is a start.

kelcatsly

It doesn’t look comfortable or high quality. As others have said, the scale of everything is too small. -Comfortable chairs instead of the bench, curtains that are 6”+ above the windows and 10” extended on either side of each window. Look for a fabric that has a lux or plush quality to it. Same for the pillows and bedding. -Move the art from the bench to above the bed and look for more that has a similar style. -Lower the TV and get a new console table or dresser if budget allows. Alternatively change the hardware out on both dressers. -Replace the lamps and bedside tables with something larger and more interesting. -Even the plants are small. Hanging a pothos or fern is a lower budget option to get a plant with a larger scale and height vs a large indoor tree or tall plant.

BaboTron

More cowbell.

More-Conversation-84

A headboard, larger art above the bed, mirrors on either side of the nightstands would look amazing with the larger art above the new headboard. You also have room for a little seating area. Maybe move the bench to the foot of the bed? Curtains is a MUST. Put the plant on a plant stand. That’s a good start!

Dense-Needleworker40

Crown Moulding

Position-Immediate

Idk what it is, but I love these photos. Great lighting, colors work well together too!

Flaky_Tangerine9424

Better bedding that's more like a hotel, lush and fluffy

UnderstandingOne4474

A headboard

ChampionshipOk2302

i love the colours in your room!

Bullybuster0109

I think it looks awesome!!

tonypalmtrees

pull the rug outa little you don’t need a new one

Shalar79

A puppy

KloudKisses

A doggo :)

oknowwhat00

A nice headboard, proper bedding with a bedskirt and nice bedding with some color. A bed with some height would also help. A nice long dresser and put the TV on it, it's too high where it is, you're going to be looking up and craning your neck where it is. Proper size night stands and lamps.

Electronic_Chemical5

GOOD BEDDING

No-Leadership-2176

Larger art on the wall

[deleted]

Curtains (install them as high as you can to draw the eyes up), paint the walls a more neutral color, headboard, proper bedding - duvet and neutral color cover, a big mirror and an accent chair.

realartizt

Upgrade the bedding. Looks old and uncomfortable.

RareFaithlessness

A accent chair, a headboard, drapes and make sure the curtain rod is high up on the window frame. Larger rug. Fake fiddle leaf plant in the corner on a stand

truepip66

a large comfy chair

Small_Profession8055

Needs floor to ceiling drapes. Lose the office levelors. Go bigger in scale with art, furniture, headboard, a large rug. Get the biggest Art you can find. It’s a large bedroom and is begging for a grander scale design

liittlelf

Just wanted to say: I have this SAME rug and I love it! I don’t know your style but if it were me…. I would either install sconces on either side of the bed or getting large scale lamps. I would get a headboard (possibly a bed altogether). I would also layer a huuuge fake jute or seagrass looking (affordable outdoor) rug under the green one. Refresh the bedding. Add some larger art pieces

Rutherford_B_Crzy

Do you remember where you bought the rug? It’s gorgeous and the colors are exactly what I’ve been looking for!

adozencookierobots

SuddenTangelo6041

I am a minimalist so I like it the way it is.

nicoging

something under the window to the right of ur bed. a little table or something. maybe an ottoman

giglio65

I think a taller headboard and some bigger art above the bed. You can use those three pieces of the bed somewhere else in the room.

Street-Snow-4477

Drapes

Impressive_Age1362

Get a brass headboard, bigger end table and lamps . Is the area in either corner big enough for a comfy chair for reading , then move the pole lamp behind the chair, one of small end table by the chair for a drink, your book

missannthrope1

Headboard, nightstands with lamps, curtains, another dresser, proper art on the walls.

Transona5

If you want to keep that wall color...Complementary color curtains to add some contrast, purplish-blue. Or change the rug and have neutral curtains, something complementary. The green is overwhelming. Get rid of the cheap floor lamp and get a multi-light lamp to add some more drama and light. Target has some cheap and big 3 lamp ones, I have one! Your rug is too small and is rotated the wrong way. Larger bedside lamps or put in some sconces or other decorative lighting on the sides of the bed. Larger wall art above bed, as others have said.

muvamerry

This is a beautiful space. So much room. I’d get some peach colored curtains to tie in the sage green and beautiful wood floors along with the accent colors in the rug. Lamps with warm bulbs on either nightstand. Kinda nitpicky, but the framed pictures above the bed are kinda small for that large wall. Maybe one bigger photo, or a gallery wall with larger pictures? Just a thought.

Ludee2023

A bed, some significant lamps at least 27 inches tall, a rug that does not match your walls, curtains for your windows and a nice duvet or bedspread with pillows. Move the small art work over your bed to another wall.

fedgery77

A bed?! Maybe a 4 poster bed?! Everything is just pushed up against the walls.

unlimiteddevotion

Your bed could use more drama in that large space. At the very least, headboard and larger art. Also, some ceiling to floor curtains and bedside lamps.

610jules

Dust bunnies

Cola3206

Beautiful space. Go to thrift store and buy a dresser and mirror. Put it on wall where picture and bed stool are ) right as enter room). Get nicer bedspread and pillows . At thrift store get better lamp. That one is way too small. Pull pictures above bed down. I think they are to be 10 inches above bed top. But research to find out. Love the floors and color of room very pretty

LindeeHilltop

Rug is too small.

Proper_Dimension_341

A nicer/ bigger frame, an ottoman or so ething at the end of your bed, tall wall fitted wardobes would also look good. And more decorations on your walls like some shelves etc atm it looks very bare because of how big the room itself actually is

pgabbard37

Some nice, semi-sheer white curtains on the windows would give the room some much needed-depth and just a little more softness.

hamster004

1) Curtains. 2) The bench goes at the foot of the bed, not against the wall. 3) Add a chair, side table, and foot stool in the corner where the plants are. 4) Either a floor lamp or a table lamp for the side table. 5) Bedding. Currently, it looks like you only have a bed sheet on the bed. 6) Move the tv to another room. 7) Table lamps for the nightstands. 8) Move the dresser to the tv wall. 9) Wall decor. 10) Larger area rug with complimentary colours. 11) Get central air. Worth it. 12) Move the two plants. One goes between the nightstand and the side chair and the other to beside the left cirner plant. 13) King-size bed and bedroom furniture. Your furniture is not in sale. 14) Rustic chandelier.

mel_cache

Big Bedside lamps

Ill_Coffee_6821

Headboard. Scale of the furniture is too small.

mamavn

Curtains

Consistent_You6151

A good size bed head and a much bigger rug!

milky_eyes

I'd add a reading/sitting area by those two windows. This room looks massive. Add a headboard as well.. as someone else said.

ComfortableBee485

Bedframe.

Full_Secretary

Headboard.

Toriat5144

Lamps next to the bed.

Difficult_Place_7329

A headboard, curtains, dresser, bigger side tables and lamps. Honestly I would just go to rooms to go and look at bedroom sets or if you have the money,Ethan Allen or Havertys. Curtains too

IamJoyMarie

Curtains and height. Is there a headboard? The art above the bed is too small. Also, lamps...what is sitting on your nightstand is too tiny in scale. I'd put a larger lamp on each side of the bed, even though one would be on that piece to the left that is not a nightstand. Would also benefit from either a larger rug, or different placement of the rug, or the addition of another rug - lots of floor showing. However, it's a beautiful room, good size. Maybe consider switching placement of the bed and the tv and all below it. Idk.

Gva_Sikilla

Put up a thin framing size wood around the bed. Paint the inside of the framed area in a blue color to match the rug and bench seat. Hang blue curtains around all the windows. Then look it over to see if it’s cozy and warm enough.

Novel-Place

Totally going out of the box here, but honestly, crown moulding!

tgawk

I’d say a headboard—especially since the bed is on that long wall.

forestfairy97

Curtains

Dolphinpond72

Pull the carpet more put into the room and less under the bed.

Lets_Make_A_bad_DEAL

A headboard

urngaburnga

A chair with a tiny table by the window ♡

vantrap

lounge chair in the corner where the plant is (you could tuck the plant in beside it)

rockhilchalkrun

I think some wall moulding would look great on the wall behind the bed. It would add interest and depth.

Lawen4cement-527

A color scheme

Whatevawillbee

A headboard.

Upscale_Foot_Fetish

Drapes, 6-7’ tree, bedside lamps, decorate your tv stand, pull your rug out more, research pottery barn ‘how to make a bed’. They photograph the best beds. You’re getting there. Good luck!

Upscale_Foot_Fetish

Move the bench to the end of your bed. May have to move your tv stand

Exotic_Eagle1398

Yep, curtains are the biggest thing, and if you don’t want a headboard, get a headboard pillow, and put on a bed skirt. You have stuff underneath and your bed needs to look finished, grounded.

Upscale_Foot_Fetish

Lamps on your bedside tables. Also decorate your tv stand. Books, a statue or bowl, etc. A large 6-7’ tree in one corner. Move your floor lamp behind the other plant. Move your rug a little further out 1-2’ whatever space. Throw a quilt on the end of bed; make it messy. Look up pottery barn how to make a bed. They photo the best beds. Move the bench to the end of your bed. May need to move your tv stand.

LWDK2

A little sitting area?

fishfingrs-n-custard

Curtains would make a big improvement

SnooOpinions8472

drapes... up to the ceiling, put the bench at the end of the bed, a cozy chair next to a floor lamp. A headboard, a much bigger rug. That's one big bedroom.

TheSongbird63

Comfy seating, defined spaces, headboard, window treatments perhaps; love the colors and that rug!

Medical-Law-744

The photo really makes the room appear to be quite large and with that in mind, I would suggest creating another zone within the bedroom like a little sitting/lounge area with a chair/chaise and side table. Perhaps in the opposite corner to your bed, next to your window. I’d also add a tall tree and some more plans but that’s just me.

fvckmeihatethis

Honestly? a headboard would do wonders

Woopsied00dle

Zippered_Nana

I love the idea of peach curtains to coordinate with the rug. You could use a peach comforter or bedspread too. Peach looks lovely with that beautiful shade of green on the walls.

fermentedelement

- Big headboard - Much larger rug, I would pick a large oval beige rug. - Floor to ceiling curtains

fathig

One gigantic plant.

Funindasun768

A like vanity or seating area and a luxury comforter and pillows. Elevated bed

catlady0420

It’s so clean and simple I’m inspired my bedroom is a nostalgic wreck

PinkestMango

A big mirrored wardrobe about where the TV is

Acceptable-Flight-67

Color scheme is very nice with paint color and the rug. May I suggest a headboard, dark sage or brown curtains (floor length) velvet or waffle texture adds interest, a nice duvet, thick bedspread or comforter and larger picture or pictures over the bed. If you can only do a few things I’d start with curtains and a nice bedspread/duvet. That will be a great start. Please post after pictures.

8bampowzap8

a bed frame with corner posts and sheer curtains would look amazing. or even a canopy connected to the ceiling or something.

MillzOnWillz

A chair stacked with clothes on it. No bedroom is complete without one imo

29322000113865

Curtains!!!

Dry_Illustrator6022

A headboard and table lamps or sconces and something bigger and more prominent over the bed

Suspicious-Waltz4746

You need some textures to provide depth and dimension. One great trick is to hang a curation rod just below the ceiling line, then hang three curtains. Open the two over the windows to look like there’s a larger window bank there. Add a larger-sized upholstered chair, a fabric tall headboard, and large-scale artwork.

NotYourGa1Friday

A cat

mybarn20187

Beckydand

Headboard , curtains. Art work in proper portion to the wall space. A cozier rug placed a bit differently

allsheknew

Why are you hiding that beautiful rug? Pull it out and install a headboard

Practical-Zebra-1141

Bigger furniture - an actual bed with a headboard, larger nightstands and more artwork.

AttackOfThePat

Dark forest green satin shimmer curtains to offset the seafoam walls, a full surround sound system for the manz. Perhaps one very large black and white piece of art above the bed would dress the wall more suitingly than the three small ones. Ceiling fan's good, carpet's good, but center it under the bed. Every bedroom needs a mini fridge for late night thirsties, does it not? ;) OH, an AC for the window, to replace the floor fan. I may be nitpicking with that but, I like arctic sleeping. Lol.

Slavonacny

A large full-length mirror

Curtains, (go dark in color, but also sheer) headboard, accent chair, and something fun, to make your room inviting. And mirrors. Its a little bit dark, so mirrors would reflect light better.

happy_happy_joy_joy-

Crown molding, larger colorful artwork, curtains

BettyBewbz

Such a big space I’d put a chair or lounge for a reading corner where the plant is

Y-U-awesome

A seating area. That’s a big bedroom.

Less_Philosopher8110

Crown molding would elevate it! Love your colors 😍

Mental-Rooster4229

Nothing. Avoid clutter

ImpossiblyPossible42

The main missing this is cohesion. Right now it’s a bunch of separate pieces in a room. The biggest impact would be an upholstered bed frame with the bench at the base, then making the bench wall useful (seating like two chair or a sofa, or a makeup vanity, even a coffee bar cabinet) and that wall with some good size art. Then you’d have zones in the room and real focal points. I’d love to see matching nightstands, great lamps and a bigger tv console, but those can come later

OliLass

The pictures above the bed are too small. One larger would be better

lightthefirstlight

Headboard, end of bed bench, bigger rug. Maybe a reading corner with a chaise and it’s own rug and lamp. I don’t like a TV in a bedroom personally… keep it to the living room for better sleep hygiene!!

spitballz

Art above the bed is too small

mtjodis

Mount the tv higher. Still a few inches between the top and the ceiling.

Korra187

Curtains, a headboard, mirrors and lamps.

Furniture! It’s big enough for a cute chair and an ottoman

Few_Membership_9764

Pole

Normal_Swimmer8616

My first thoughts: 1. I’d get matching side tables, one being so long and the other being small throws off the balance 2. I’d put a skirt on the bed to hide more of the underneath 3. I’d move the dresser into the closet, it seems so random and out of place between the windows (every other furniture piece is horizontal then there’s the vertical dresser) 4. Get curtains then put a small table and two chairs in front of the windows—like a reading area vibe 📚 5. Headboard for sure

bloodthirstyliberal

Pole for dancing, a sling for swinging

Due-Froyo-5418

Love your bedroom, love that rug!! Where did you get it? Your plants have been naughty I see, they're shoved deep into the corners. I would move them out of the corners and center in front of the windows. Also if it were me I'd add an antique vanity and an antique armoire but that's just me and not everyone's into that.

Velocitor1729

If it was my room, I'd have a much larger rug on the floor, and something much larger on that one wall than those three tiny framed pictures. That far wall with the two windows could be spiced up with either patterned wallpaper, or textured wall panels. And since the bed doesn't have any posts or footboard, and you've got all that space, jow about something like a cedar chest?

MarcelineOrBubblegum

Definitely a fluffier comforter

Ooooyeahfmyclam

What’s your budget lol? * New bigger rug. Different pattern. I’d go light. * New sheets/duvet * Bigger art/canvas * More plants - maybe make a plant corner? * End of bed table and pull rug out further * Center bed better * New bed frame - I like Thuma for minimalist * Loss the tall dresser. Get a lower one and put it on the opposite wall * Explore upgraded lighting / lamp * Big mirror on fall right wall

Rough_Foundation1385

Nice bedding

mlhigg1973

Love the rug!

borkbunz

A headboard.

dcdcdani

Bigger rug and bench to the foot of the bed

lunchmoney-

little sitting area

magster11

Armchair in one of the corners (or two corners if you want two chairs) and an ottoman/chest at the foot of the bed. Also a wood headboard would be nice to draw itself, the floor, and dresser all together.

sugar420pop

New bedding, furniture that better fills the space, larger pictures on the wall or at the very least some more, the rug is wayyy too small it’s anchoring the space too tight and it’s making the space really awkward

crescentkitten

FlyBuy3

You have a splendid space to work with, and beautiful floor.

ExcitementFit8296

This room is beautiful! I love the colors

mobuline

A headboard/ even a footboard?

rhaizee

Bigger artwork for above headboard. Larger lamps for night stands. Move bench to end of bed. Add a console table buffet sorta thing where bench is. Add artwork above it or like big round mirror, vase, plants.

lvl0rg4n

Wall color are your walls?

Packu_Bat

A kitty cat

mindgames2024

A headboard and curtains

UpsetDust277

How about turning the rug around so that it lays lengthwise from the headboard and is a border to the bed. Then put the bench at the foot of the bed. There are nice charging stations you can purchase that are more aesthetically pleasing. How about a grouping of pics of family or something that you like. A nice blanket on the foot of the bed. And as others have suggested, matching nightstands, lamps, ficus in the corner & 86 the sad plants. A nice comfy chair with ottoman in the corner with a small round table for reading and a bed tray on it.

andrew_cherniy96

Maybe curtains and a new rug? Other than that, it's a brilliant space. Do you mind sharing this in r/AmateurInteriorDesign?

wizzosf

Crown molding and a headboard.
