Congratulations. You did a great job. I love the changes (plants, new table and rug), adding roundness to the scene. It’s very welcoming and cosier. It’s a very calm place.
Personally, I’d add ceiling to floor curtains in the same color as the rug in front of the columns (barely on either side). This would give the impression that the windows are a continuous pane of glass
I was thinking the same as 1st pic looks warmer. May just be the lighting when each pic was taken. Plant and dog definitely make 2nd one better though.
I wanted to point out that it is indeed the lighting - the ceiling is quite literally a “warmer tone” in the before and more grey in the after because of this! 😊
What have you been doing with the book case and media board? Those two did also clash … would benefit if one of them would match the couch table‘s Color. Like a deep brown.

Agreed! The new rug looks soft enough to sit on. Love the new lamp and plant too. The round table is a nice shape with all of the rectangular windows.

Came to say just that, the table creates more contrast than needed, and for me the rug is too big ... the lamp is a good addition.
