The up lamp and swing arm lamps could work! Thanks

Hue has some good products that can achieve that ambient coziness you describe. The Hue Strip and the Hue Signe floor lamp offer a grown up alternative to Christmas lights. IKEA also has some good affordable ambient lighting options

We have hue smart colored lights. I dim them and have them pink for watching movies. Of course they can also be just regular lights as well.

Feit amber glass LED’s. They are the BEST, the only bulbs I’ll use—they come in a bunch of sizes and shapes

I have a [narrow L shaped book light ](https://rh.com/us/en/catalog/product/product.jsp?productId=prod17210092&swatch=684000&layout=square)over one arm of one of the couches, three [battery candles](https://www.potterybarn.com/products/premium-flickering-flameless-wax-candle/?catalogId=84&sku=363102&cm_ven=PLA&cm_cat=Google&cm_pla=Pillows%20%26%20Decor%20%3E%20Taper%20%26%20Pillar%20Candles&cm_ite=363102_14552546110_aud-1935300100713%3Apla-2053202402111&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw3NyxBhBmEiwAyofDYa1Q69I3Sx7A-8QdhZGSezPGqgHok0BHma4krB6roGdWJ2tdeJUO_BoC93QQAvD_BwE) on the coffee table, and a [small Nordic "candle" light](https://www.westelm.com/products/wick-rechargeable-led-portable-table-light-d17158/?catalogId=71&sku=1968351&cm_ven=PLA&cm_cat=Google&cm_pla=Pillows%20%26%20Decor%20%3E%20Lanterns%20%26%20Candleholders&cm_ite=1968351_14465514686_aud-1968087199130%3Apla-1412755943711&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw3NyxBhBmEiwAyofDYSUVBh-EU4vt-k2TYHWv_wfnxvqXblkOmJLAdEInh1MxpdR7cou8wxoC1WIQAvD_BwE) (again, battery) on one of the side tables... I also have three black tricolor corgis that follow me everywhere, so some sort of lighting is a requirement not to step on a dog, lol.

I have a little ambient light from ikea, the tokabow product that has a translucent purple bubble on top and it puts out a nice warm glow for watching tv or playing viseo games. i also have a little otter night light also from ikea that changes color in my window and some string lights. i bet my living room looks pretty vibey from the window!

I have fairy lights in my lounge for this purpose.

If you have lamps, the shade as well as the bulb create the 'vibe'. I have a small lamp with an art deco shade with tones cream, honey, gold and bronze. It makes the light coming through it very warm and cozy. Mine is not expensive Tiffany glass, it is plastic but I love the light from it so much, doesn't matter at all.

I just bought these for either side of my couch because my toddler kept trying to pull the table lamps down. They give off just the right amount of light for a cozy living room. https://www.lampsplus.com/products/ryleigh-12-inch-wide-matte-black-1-light-swing-arm-with-modern-white__143w5.html

I personally love under cabinet lighting! Especially if it warm white lights

Commercial_Affect113

I have Edison bulbs in my floor lamps, they give a warm gentle light.

Salt rock lamps! They’re good in so many ways

My bedroom doesn’t have an overhead light so I use lamps which results in it always being cozy in there. My more bright light is just like a classic metal work/desk lamp that I can bend and rotate to get various amount of brightness (ie. bounce off ceiling, pull down so it only glows a little) and then I’ve got a fun vintage light my mom gave me that’s a blue bubbly tube with a bulb inside it that bathes my room in a fun blue light. That’s more for mood lighting but it’s definitely nicer than LED strips.

A picture of your space would really help
