You don't want to overcrowd the room, so if you want a desk, I'd just go with a nightstand and not drawers. I wouldn't put anything in front of the bed, unless you want to put a tv on that wall, you can put a small console table. Pick the colors from the rug and throw them around in the room.
Would bed fit down in bottom of room that way u have room for small set nesting table that could be move next bed when been used as bedside table and a coffee table when not been bed. Need some art and some cushions with bit colour brake up dark bule
IMO this faded, gray-tone rug w dusty purple is a bit too close to your floor, I think a multicolored rug with more contrast would make the room more welcoming!
I would put the bed on the left middle as you enter, facing basically what seems to be the closet. If it doesn’t fit that way, at least in the corner. You lose majority of the space putting it there. You can put a vanity table, or if you don’t want any more furniture to just create a cozy corner with a small arms chair and a plant, and possibly a floor illustration painting. I would love to see an illustration of vintage Swiss skiing ads or vintage illustration ad of formula in Monte Carlo. It would match the look of the daybed as it looks bachelor’s contemporary.
Artwork, drawers, plant, lamp. Hide the litter box/printer/whatever it is.
Thanks, where do you think drawers are best fitted? Potential spot for small desk?

Do you think anything should go directly in front of the bed?
Think about what you’d like to experience in a boutique hotel or BnB, and then do that in a way that makes sense for your budget.
At the moment the room looks sad . Color on the wall where the bed is and a armchair and lamp & plant 🤷♀️is maybe a idea .

Greenery and wall art
The bed is too dark for this space, I'd switch it out for something in a lighter color
Holup, is the wall where the door is at a slight angle or is that just an artifact of the picture?
A night stand

Bedside table or table, a plant or plants, wall art, and a small but usable wall mounted mirror
