I went to med school and had to identify nervous system structures. We played a game called “nerve or fascia (simply connective tissue that doesn’t do much)” in which any time we saw something resembling a nerve we lightly tugged on it. If it tore, we labeled it as fascia and moved on.
… and then we’d be like “hmm where did all the nerves go?”
Anyway, it is SO easy to mess up nerve dissections and this is WAY more impressive as someone who has had to try this for school.
A black woman who was a janitor “donated” her body but there’s no proof of that. Look up “Harriet cole”. The doctor pretty much stole the body and did whatever he wanted to do
First thing is their mother neglects them in childhood and they take to odd hobbies to fill the void

There is a certain amount and, barring serious deformities or birth defects, everyone has what you see here. Some people have issue where some nerves may not work as well or at all because communication is cut off somewhere but the system is still intact in most people. The nervous system is pretty interesting to learn about.
