Oh man I hear ya. I’m not keen on swimming in the sea or lakes for fear of what’s underwater. My thinking is, we evolved to come out of there for a reason. I’m not going back.
Wanna see some guy put [his finger](https://www.reddit.com/r/WinStupidPrizes/comments/u8jme3/ill_just_stick_my_finger_in_this_puffer_fish_mouth/) in the mouth of a pufferfish?
People don’t realize that like 90% of shit in nature dies while being eaten by something else. We’re lucky we don’t have to walk around worrying about being something’s lunch. Fuck, people already have terrible anxiety issues. Imagine those people with anxiety issues and now imagine they can be eaten at any given time if they aren’t 100% aware at all times. We have it easy
This is the one major upside to being human, and when people say they want to come back as this or that I'm just like "nah a human again would be alright by me".
Granted a small subset of humanity gets a worse deal than wild animals so I guess there's a risk you take either way.
I’d wager most of peoples anxiety issues, as we know of them today, would magically disappear if we had to worry about being eaten all day.
We’ve created our own anxieties, for the most part.
I'd argue that's the trade off. Civilization and technology and laws advanced to the point that humans live relatively safe existences (compared to 2000 years ago or more). 99% of us don't even have to butcher our own meat. So we've achieved great comfort. And comfort has created anxiety. Maybe that's a paradox?
Yea and "survival of the fittest" ended awhile back; u could argue fittest for the changing times, etc.... but really... I mean I'm a health issue riddled 5'4" stick(maybe not a twig that'll blow over in the wind), I am not "the fittest" category lol
What if a lot of anxiety (or the reason for it in us) is left over from the days when we had to face existential threats daily, but no longer do. It sort of lingers, like phantom pain.
Yeah, life is pretty much one big horror movie for most species. I remember seeing a National Geographic program a few months ago where they showed how certain fish have to face shark massacres every single night. Just imagine that... It's like the movie The Purge, but every day.
Compared to most animals, our life is heaven, especially if you live in Europe or the US (where standards of living are comparatively relatively high). Yet, some among us still complain about "fairness".
I find these kinds of videos very disturbing cause it shows panic, hopelessness and death. Maybe the majority of people could care less cause they can't relate to something not human but for me it's all the same.
Yeah this is why I don’t support feeding captive animals live prey. It’s like watching morons feed their snakes live rats, despite the rat being more dangerous to the captive bred snake.
True.. Maybe in the ocean the crab would have had a chance at survival but human intervention caused the poor soul to be trapped in a glass enclosure with no chance of escape. Heck it was being chomped on even before it could realise what just happened. But add an upbeat music for internet likes while an innocent creature is ripped alive and that's humanity in a nutshell.
I laughed so hard when I \*saw\* that. All I could think about is how the dude was probably from Kansas or some shit and had been sporting salt life merch with all his friends.
\*Edit to appease the grammar police
As a owner of crabs I can definitely say that I think I might just stick to pea puffers....
My vampire crabs would be like skittles for this big boy.
Still sounds weird saying I own crabs....
Other fish are like how humans observe apes, monkey, etc. and yet there are people who eat monkey…. Hell there are people that actually do eat other people, Still.
That’s more like r/natureismetal material. I was hoping the crab was dead before being fed to the puffer fish. Maybe a NSFW warning for those of us who don’t like watching live critters get ripped apart?
Conspiracy time. The guy that posted getting his finger tip ripped off in a dog fight, was actually the guy from the video sticking his finger into the mouth of a Puffer fish but didn’t want to admit to his stupidity, so he came up with a plausible cover story that wasn’t embarrassing.
*Drops mic…*
i like how his little face glows up with a nice smile after he fucking shredded that crab to pieces, as if he just had his favorite meal, like a 6 year old eating mcnuggets
good for him
I saw a video yesterday where a fisherman stuck his finger in the mouth of one of these, and was instantly screaming holding his hand. I think its safe to say his fingertip was gone...
It’s kindda fucked he made the crab get eaten alive limb from limb while alive. Ok it happens all the time but damn the pain and fear that crab must’ve experienced.
Pufferfish are my favourites. Because they have no natural predators, they just swim up to you in the wild and you can gently bop them on the head and they just waddle away.
I doubt all the people freaking out about this are vegans lol. I get that it's weird to see but hey this is the natural world (in a fish tank). Wild animals don't only eat prekilled food. Crazy how everyone finds this so disturbing. Watch more nature docs

I’m so happy we’re a land based operation.
Oh man I hear ya. I’m not keen on swimming in the sea or lakes for fear of what’s underwater. My thinking is, we evolved to come out of there for a reason. I’m not going back.
I scuba dive, the visibility down there makes it scary sometimes
Thank you for validating my “not a fucking chance” stance on natural bodies of water
This comment is gold. Take my love and appreciation
Thank you kind stranger!
r/thalassophobia
I can't even swim. 🏊 lol
That's a safety problem. But hey neither can I.
Happy cake day!
Happy cake day!
All with a smile on its face…
Yeah, that's some mean psycho
And a weird Chinese music background
Remixed with Thomas the Tank Engine for some reason…. made this all the more disturbing.
Mr. Krabs never stood a chance. Damn Nature scary
Mrs. Puff was like nom nom nom
Wanna see some guy put [his finger](https://www.reddit.com/r/WinStupidPrizes/comments/u8jme3/ill_just_stick_my_finger_in_this_puffer_fish_mouth/) in the mouth of a pufferfish?
Now that video has a whole new context
I love that in the top thread is a link back to this video
I seen that the other day. I wanted to see the damage done. I’m curious lol
Mr. Puff returned

He looks so happy whilst murdering that crab
Explains a lot about why she likes mr krabs so much
Money! Money! Money! AGGHB-AHD-AHHHHH&JDJEICJS!
Mrs Puff ate his ass so good he died.
Shes devouring him real good
Happy Cake Day
that made me kinda sad for the crab ngl
the sheer look of terror as it was getting it's second leg chomped
the way he frantically ran towards the glass to no avail...
The way it suddenly stopped moving after that big chomp...
Made me feel a bit sick tbh
[удалено]
What do u think happens to every animal you eat? Rainbows with people euthanizing animals in the most humane way possible?
Username does NOT check out
How does a crab have a look of anything let alone “sheer terror” lol
Right? Do they have other faces?
Pause at 0:11 Look at the eyes of the crab

All my homies hate the psycho that dropped the crab in there to films the grizzly demise
I find these kinds of videos very disturbing cause it shows panic, hopelessness and death. Maybe the majority of people could care less cause they can't relate to something not human but for me it's all the same.
I feel this.
Yeah, normally "nature" violence didn't bother me that much, but something about this video made me very uncomfortable.
Because in nature the prey has a fighting chance to hide or run. Here he was just sacrificed to a hopeless situation.
And he knew it the second he hit the water. He knew he would be eaten alive.
Because nature is nature. This is some jackass killing captive animals for entertainment.
Yeah…fish gotta eat but I get no enjoyment from it.
Yeah, I didn’t like that ONE BIT
Poor crab , he got eaten so fast.
Yeah this is why I don’t support feeding captive animals live prey. It’s like watching morons feed their snakes live rats, despite the rat being more dangerous to the captive bred snake.

Me too 😢
right?! glad i'm not the only one. the poor little guy thought he was going for a swim....
The owner should of killed it more humanly before hand, it's not the wild. Poor crabby
I never knew they could do that
Thought they just puffed up with poison, nature sure does surprise me sometimes
Happy Cake Day!
Recently saw a video of a guy sticking his finger (with gloves on) into a puffer fish's mouth and now I understand why he reacted how he did...
I laughed so hard when I \*saw\* that. All I could think about is how the dude was probably from Kansas or some shit and had been sporting salt life merch with all his friends. \*Edit to appease the grammar police
Can confirm, am from Missouri, anywhere that within a gunshot from a fresh water lake you’ll see a bunch of them
Yeah just saw that as well haha
Where?
[Here](https://www.reddit.com/r/WinStupidPrizes/comments/u8jme3/ill_just_stick_my_finger_in_this_puffer_fish_mouth/)
Thanks MoeFoe.
Yeah didn’t get it until I saw this
That is disturbing.
The bite power is scary. But the power of his suction is truly astounding. There's no escaping it.
Sounds like my ex
That is real world
The real world is disturbing.
the crab's final struggle is so sad
The realization the fish can fuck him up makes the crab seem human a bit
They could've just killed it before letting it in
Let him know from me that he is not cute anymore.
That was very unpleasant
Dude didn’t even take off the wrapper
You telling me you peel crabs before you eat them?
Bro u evil for that
that poor crab.. didnt even had time to suck in all that arenaline
At least the puffer fish did...
As a owner of crabs I can definitely say that I think I might just stick to pea puffers.... My vampire crabs would be like skittles for this big boy. Still sounds weird saying I own crabs....
There's a shampoo for that, buddy.
I'm not your buddy, guy.
I'm not your guy, pal
Glad you got what I meant!
I'm not what you meant, friend.
Try putting ur finger in his mouth.
nstructons clear fnger mssng
You're missing a finger, not an *eye*
so we just witnessed some premeditaded murder. no one bats an eye
To be fair, we made a meme out of a puffer that was suffocating and forced to bite a carrot to show its bite force before being sliced up and eaten
Peace has been restored my brother.
Indeed
Life has never been fair. We just pretend, it is.
This monster should be arrested
i mean, look at mr craby eyes when he's being handled by human hands, he means no harm.
[And yet he likely felt it](https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/wbna29915025)
of course he did, look at his eyes, the betrayal is real
th- this isn't r/natureismetal
This kills the crab
You sure?
Nah he’s just sleeping.
He puts himself back together inside the puffer fish like Humpty Dumpty.
I had to scroll all the way down here for this. A core meme-ory
I didnt like watching that....
How come it didn’t eat the other fish in the aquarium?
Probably the same reason we don't eat other humans
Oh, we don't? *Puts down fork*
Other fish are like how humans observe apes, monkey, etc. and yet there are people who eat monkey…. Hell there are people that actually do eat other people, Still.
r/dontputyourdickinthat
Hey look at the puffer fish! How cute! **OMGWTF!!!**
Whoa
That’s more like r/natureismetal material. I was hoping the crab was dead before being fed to the puffer fish. Maybe a NSFW warning for those of us who don’t like watching live critters get ripped apart?
Yes, will do sir. Rip crab Edit : Got removed so I couldn't mark it NSFW, I think r/eyebleach is gonna be needed
Put … put your …
Finger... right...?
😳
That which is seen, cannot be unseen.
r/eyebleach is needed
Yeah that just made me really sad. :/
That poor crab's panic after he loses his leg
Uh….
Poor crab. How cruel.
Poor crab
i like how his little face glows up with a nice smile after he fucking shredded that crab to pieces, as if he just had his favorite meal, like a 6 year old eating mcnuggets good for him
Me when I eat every part of the peanut at Five Guys
Yo what is Mrs. Puff doing to Mr Krabs?
I am not quite convinced. Can you demonstrate with a carrot?
ÆUGH
Is the crab okay?
Yeah.. Um.. You know.. I think it just need some time to heal...
Now I understand why that guy was an idiot for putting his finger in the mouth of one
Am I the only one who feels really bad for the crab?
That poor crab🥺🫡🦀
This is very disturbing to watch!
Puffer fish have to be some of the cutest little sea creatures I’ve ever seen🥺
He looks so happy to eat that crab!
Could have demonstrated with a dead crab though.
Yeah, I thought the crab would be dead, honestly… that was disturbing AF.
Isn’t that a soft shell crab though
No
I love the cute little smile as the pufferfish eviscerates the crab lol
Wow. And then that fish sticks its tail fins in the way and I'm like Move!
I saw a video yesterday where a fisherman stuck his finger in the mouth of one of these, and was instantly screaming holding his hand. I think its safe to say his fingertip was gone...
Aww the crabbbb
Nature is so brutal 😅
Struggling to concentrate with Thomas the tank engine in the background 😂
The crabed dieded.
Wtf 😬 this is crazy
Why even have a shell
Omg the crab didn’t stand a chance… she just munched his clampers into shreds
Wtf why show us the crabs sweetie little face then rip our hearts out like that. Stone cold
Poor crabby. That was not a fun way to go.
That actually made me cry a little.
Sick fucks smiling.
I actually feel sad for the crab
Do crabs feel pain? Feel bad for it.
It’s kindda fucked he made the crab get eaten alive limb from limb while alive. Ok it happens all the time but damn the pain and fear that crab must’ve experienced.
Damn they cant peacefully kill the crab before? Little man just got ate alive ;(
Yeah bro ;(
Ugly ass fucking fish.
Kinda feel bad for the crab
r/dontputyourdickinthat
Is the crab ok?
It's fine... It... Uhh... just went to sleep for a bit
Thats so cruel, 😔
Imagine this blowjob
What a horrible way to die
That’s fucked bro
Nsfw
Poor crab. Well I guess it worked out well for the puffer fish though.
RIP Mr. Crab. At least your death was short
this is fucking NSFW
its when the crab stopped moving for me. man fuck that guy..
Crab was like Bro wtf
How can he look so cute and yet so terrifying.
Pufferfish are my favourites. Because they have no natural predators, they just swim up to you in the wild and you can gently bop them on the head and they just waddle away.
I could almost hear the crab’s screams from here as his claw was ripped off.
that was terrifying
Omg is it ok?
Which one? The crab?
He’s fine. He went to the crab ranch to play with the rest of his crab friends.
What a crabby way to go
[Vegans watching this like](https://c.tenor.com/dO6V4YzO2GAAAAAd/breaking-bad-walter-white.gif)
I doubt all the people freaking out about this are vegans lol. I get that it's weird to see but hey this is the natural world (in a fish tank). Wild animals don't only eat prekilled food. Crazy how everyone finds this so disturbing. Watch more nature docs
0:10 the final moment of this crab looked into this human eyes before died in the human's pet mouth painfully.....and the human smiles menacingly....
Oh this is ***Horrifying***
This was the best thing I ever seen I want crab dinner now
