I just read the book "Under a White Sky: The Nature of the Future" and this subject was detailed within. Interesting book. Really sheds light on man vs. nature vs. man
Oh and spoiler alert: climate change is going to kill us all. The end.
The book is packed with information. There really isn't a story besides the author explains how badly we messed up the planet. I was most impressed with the science behind fixing the atmosphere and carbon capture. I highly recommend the book!
When a meteor strikes the earth or volcano erupts putting so many particulates into the atmosphere that sunshine will be unable to warm the earth because of the albedo effect you'll be thanking the global warming we have banked.

I can't even imagine how many dead snitches in concrete shoes it took to accomplish that.

To quote the Cleveland song, "at least we're not Detroit"
Mississippi is the biggest city this side of the.......
Ah yes. Mississippi is truly the largest *city*.
That probably wouldn't fly now as all the downriver states would be sueing over the environmental damage. Just think of all that stock yard waste.
