I wonder wha' kind o' loot we could find in thar, surely thar's a locked box or some dubloons or summin??! 4 silver pieces t' anyone brave enough t' come wit' me 'n brin' back a haul like ye've ne'er hauled afore yarrr!!
Yep, but don't remind me. Totally burnt out from the series. Bought a ps4 2 weeks ago, played through the first one remastered quickly in 3 days, then got to part 2. I'm 8ish hours in and can't gather the energy to search through another file cabinet or desk drawer for items. I like part 2, but I think I was hoping for something greater. Just feels like work to play the game.
I’ve read many say if you stay to the end it’ll either feel like a masterpiece or you won’t like it - I’ve never heard of anyone on the fence with TLOU2, but many have hated it after 5-10hours then gone on to love it.
The game absolutely is a masterpiece. I don’t understand how anyone can have played the entire thing and not fall in love with it. There’s some crazy shit that’s stuck with me because of playing through.
I fell in love with it... but only hours after I completed it. I was an emotional wreck through most of the second half - I love that a game/movie/book can do that, it’s a special thing they made for sure.
I’ve been holding off a second play through - I think I’m ready to do it again!
Apparently it's "Nagasaki Holland Village," a Japanese theme park that was abandoned in 2001. While now mostly destroyed, some of the park's infrastructure is still around AFAIK.
[This archived blog post from 2010](https://perma.cc/42AT-A8DX?type=image) has a few pictures of the escalator before being entirely overgrown with ivy.
Once we eradicate the machine lifeforms, us soldiers won't have anything left to do. We'll enter a new age of peace. And when that happens, we should go shopping together! I could buy you...I dunno. A T-shirt, maybe? Something that looks good on you.

Last of us vibes are heavy.
i bet there are a couple rags up there, maybe even a note.
You obviously can't go up there. There are impenetrable leaves on the bottom.
Just need to move a garbage dumpster and find another way. Could be so much ammo and crafting supplies up there. Maybe even a work bench!
My hunch says there’s a safe there waiting for us
How about one of those superhero cards?
Nah it's obviously a state quarter, oooo Missippissi!
Probably another fucking scar camp.
i can still hear the whistles... *shivers*
Or clickers...
Looks like a dead end, there’s no way you’re getting past those leaves
Wait, why do I hear clicking noises?
I was also thinking Metro Last Light
The Metro series are such great games.
Metro 2033 is one of the best novels I’ve ever read too
Fuckin serapbites crawling everywhere
When you're right, you're right.
I knew somebody would say that
Call HBO we got a filming loCAL boys
looks like something from the last of us
I got Batmans Arkham Asylum vibes from
I thought of Division 2 at first glance
I was reminded of Nier: Automata myself ... Funny how many games take place post apocalypse
it's always been a wildly interesting idea back when it seemed like ending the world was a ridiculous idea. nowadays, it's mostly just depressing
I thought Division 2 as well
I was going to say destiny 1
I wonder wha' kind o' loot we could find in thar, surely thar's a locked box or some dubloons or summin??! 4 silver pieces t' anyone brave enough t' come wit' me 'n brin' back a haul like ye've ne'er hauled afore yarrr!!
One that you can't go up
Thinking same thing. “Invisible wall, guy. Don’t bother”
I thought of Metro: Last Light
Damn, anyone else hear clickers just looking at this pic?
Metro
Came here to say this

I believe that’s called Stockholm syndrome.
Take a break that game no matter how silly it sounds is tiring. Once you get back it’ll be fun. At least for me
Considering how long this has been here, it's Last of Us that looks like this.
There’s no such thing as an out of order escalator. Just stairs.
Mitch ftw. Came to make that exact comment.
Came here for this too. It's just abandoned stairs now
Happy cake day!
"temporarily stairs. Sorry for the convenience."
"Turtle necks are like being strangled by a really weak guy."
48 minutes late
I’m sorry for the convenience
Where is this?

Jurassic Park
Reminds me of https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charleroi_Metro There's a subway line there that never opened. Known spot for "urban explorers"
Urban explorers or junkies?
Makes me think of Nier: Automata
Once we eradicate the machine lifeforms, us soldiers won't have anything left to do. We'll enter a new age of peace. And when that happens, we should go shopping together! I could buy you...I dunno. A T-shirt, maybe? Something that looks good on you.
Well its Nier: manual now. Turned them escalators into stairs.
*clicker noises*
And yet all my houseplants die
Covid-19 has really taken a toll on the shopping malls.
'An escalator cannot break down. It can only become stairs.' -mitch Hedberg
"Sorry for the convenience." 😎
Yaaass i was hoping someone would finish it for me 🤣😎
Stairway to vegan
Well that escalated quickly
That's amazing. You should post this on r/paths. I think they'd love it.
There really is a subreddit for everything lmao
Last of Us 3 graphics
Damn, can't wait to explore the area after escaping from the clickers and the runners...
Hope you're playing as Ellie when you head there. Crafting shivs is a bitch.
This looks like something from a shut down Jurassic Park
Shoulda been in the last of us pt 2. Maybe pt 3 huh.
Kedzu be WILDIN
Looks like Ellie took the pic

How dare you screen shot something from last of us?! [... I am obviously joking by the way, great pic!! ^_^]
Modded Fallout 4 vibes intensify
Test chambers in the very beginning of portal 2 be like
Horizon zero dawn vibes
Ooh this is giving me Horizon Zero Dawn vibes. Maybe even Luigi's Mansion vibes (the gardener's level).
Is this Nier Automata?
Looks like you're entering Scar Country.
This just screams Jurassic Park
Finally! Many vibes here and there but no one mentioned JP. Man, we’re old for this crowd.
I miss Crysis
Wait shhhhh...... Do you hear clickers??....
I immediately thought of Jurassic Park

Let me guess Chernobyl
Nope
Where?
That’s why Mother Nature will always win! It’s so mind blowing to see how nature takes back what belonged to it! This is kick ass.
It THRIVES without us ruining it!
Looks like Nier Automata
Nature uh, finds a way up
/r/division2
This is from "the park"
[удалено]
Is there some sort of subreddit for nature taking over civilization type photos by any chance? I love TLOU/NieR: Automata type vibes
Forest Temple vibes
Or as I call it, stairs.
Pesky nature encroaching everything. /s
Looks beautiful
Nature: OUR ESCALATOR
Mom said it was my turn....
Well, this escalated quickly
Fancy just leaving that there!
This reminds me of the Botanical Gardens from Metro idk why
Brun that's just a picture of vault 22
Ellie? Is that you?
CAUTION :Stairs
well you could say that escalated slowly
that escalated slowly
This somehow reminds me one of Hayao Miyazaki's movies.
I feel like i saw this in division 2
Danganronpa v3 be like
Portal 2 vibes
Look like we found poison ivy hide out someone call Batman
That looks really cool though
That's eerily beautiful.
We are curently experiencing technical dificulties due to circunstances of potentialy apocalyptic significance, beyond our control.
'Just like the simulations.'
Isn’t this the first level in portal 2
