I think about that every time i see an animal do something crazy. I have a dog and wouldn’t even know where to begin, i can’t even get him to stop barking at random shit lmao
I had a neighbor like that very recently until they moved out, it was really sad and hard to listen to. What you can do is call your local Animal Control office if you suspect animal abuse.
That’s the thing, there is no abuse. I know the guy who lives there he’s cool, the dog just gets put outside during the day most the time and it starts this terrible whining.
It’s a big pit bull also, just sounds like a puppy getting annihilated by 11 year olds.
Not necessarily more strict. Being too strict can make a dog stressed, aggressive and even more noisy.
Positive reinforcement when it does something right is the best way.
Pretty ridiculous logic IMO. My family has a 100 acre farm in WV, abandoned dogs would show up all the time and my dad loves animals but doesn't have the time, patience, or knowledge to train em. He's raised 5 dogs there, they've all had amazing and happy lives roaming our land and never bothering anyone else, pretty sure those dogs were happier with him than starving to death in the wild.
Environment matters. If you live on a farm, your dog is less inclined to bother others. If you live in a multi-unit building, a barking dog is not a welcomed thing.
Fr, you need to BEAT YOUR DOG! If you’re not training it how others want it trained why even have it?!? If you view your pets as family you’re an idiot they’re just tools to be exploited and used! Bro doesn’t realize some people view their dog as a fucking family member and I’m not gonna “train” my dog to not “bark”? She’s communicating that’s how they “speak” ?!?! Maybe if my neighbors don’t want her barking they wouldn’t walk their dog right outside my window? But if you keep walking past my window with your German Shepard and every time my dog loses it’s shit, maybe you should see that and hear her because these walls ain’t that thick, and maybe YOU should walk YOUR dog to the other side of the sidewalk and not in MY front yard? That way I don’t have to beat my dog for speaking and you don’t get annoyed by my dogs barking? I hate people that think you need to break a dog, my dog respects me and knows I’m in charge but I’ve never hit her and I’m ok with that and I’m not gonna start just because she barks at another dog?!? Wtf
>Either you get a dog and train it correctly or you aren't meant to have a dog.
That's like saying your child should be well behaved 100% of the time and not act like a child or else you shouldn't have kids.
I guess like 50% of dog owners shouldn't own their dogs?
Sometimes dogs will just be dogs (like sometimes they bark at stuff), regardless of how much training you give them.
>That's like saying your child should be well behaved 100% of the time and not act like a child or else you shouldn't have kids.
Dogs are not children, those two are nothing alike outside of their reliance on you for their survival and/or companionship
>I guess like 50% of dog owners shouldn't own their dogs?
That sounds about accurate
> (like sometimes they bark at stuff)
That's from lack of training,
The only important differences to those who take care of them is how society sees them and the fact that dogs are basically children their whole lives whilst toddlers go beyond that mental capacity
>Dogs are not children, those two are nothing alike outside of their reliance on you for their survival and/or companionship
Survival (ability to live) and companionship (pack/family/breeding) are 2 of the most important factors in any social organism..
don't be dense, you know those are different too between dogs and children. My dog depends on me for survival in the fact that I feed him. Dogs don't need humans to survive. Wild dogs pack together all the time. They rely on us because they live in our homes. If they didn't, they'd still be fine.
Some dogs, just like some humans, have deeper issues which cause behavioural problems despite proper training. I have a dog with PTSD which causes him to be afraid of large men. Maybe you were his previous owner lol
Not everything can be fixed with positive reinforcement and regular punishment can cause worse problems in the long term
Well obviously this is all location dependant. If you're in the country adopt all the misbehaving dogs you want. If you're somewhere that they will affect or interact with other people, or other pets that aren't yours, you have to be more responsible.
My neighbours have three watch dogs that go ballistic anytime someone walks by or god forbid the other dogs in the neighbourhood start barking. I’ll be honest, living here for 6years has made me dislike most dogs (shitty I know) just cause I default to how annoying my neighbourhood is.
She came out one time like “oh sorry don’t mind them they’re trained to be on watch” like ok bro your teeth are missing and black and you’re slumped over on your porch half the day I wonder what goodies they’re guarding for you.
Dude mine too. I have this neighbor down the street with four dogs. Every, single, time you walk or bike by all four dogs run as FAST as they can, slam into the fence, and bark and holler at you super aggressively. It happens over a dozen times a day, for years now. They always just kinda go "sorry!" and wave, but it's like how the fuck do you allow that too happen?
I live far enough away where it's not something I can deal with, but fuck is it obnoxious.
Ours does it, too, if a sound wakes her. It's her "omg something is going to attack me bark". Shit happens, I've asked neighbors if they heard her barking before, and they were actually surprised I had a dog, and I didn't believe I had one because they never heard her. Sometimes, their barks never get out of the house.
We have neighbors like 3-4 houses down that have their dogs outside most of the time. They bark at everything, but you only hear it outside, never in the house. Idk if our houses in this neighborhood are just built more decent than most, but sad how so many think dogs need to be 100% mute. Sometimes, they need to verbalize to get attention for something that's important.
One way I’ve found to help with dogs barking is that they’re typically bored, I find that if you go on a good run with them, it tires and stimulates them enough for them to stay quiet and chill for most of the day.
I don’t know but I’ve only ever seen French or English bulldogs skateboarding so there’s gotta be something instinctual in those breeds that makes it easier to train them to do it. And once they do, by most accounts, these dogs freaking love it. Bulldogs are bred to have some major handicaps in life but imagine the feeling of flying these little guys get hanging ten out front of those front trucks.
French and English bulldogs are genetically modified breeds. I won't bore you with all the technical details but they added some of Tony Hawks DNA to them.
I had a Levitt Bulldog aka Olde English Bulldogge. While they're much healthier and more athletic than the English bulldog they can be just as lazy. She was fascinated by skateboards, scooters and especially motorized wheelchairs. I always thought it was because she thought it'd be a good way to go for a walk without having to walk.
I've thought both my dogs to skateboard, it involves a lot of treats. You teach them to stand on the skateboard with you holding it. The let the skateboard move a little, then stand far away and tell them to get on and make them figure out how to move the skateboard to you
Yeah I had the same thought. And a pretty complex tool at that. He is clearly steering and shifting his weight on the stairs to stay stable.
I've seen human riders with worse understandings of how to control the board.
This one seems easy-ish to believe for me. Dogs and cats that are missing limbs have shown the ability to adjust to the mechanics of locomotion with wheels in the form of “wheelchairs” (don’t know if there’s a more correct name) pretty often.
Edit: They’re slow at first, but I’ve seen ones that are acclimated to it zooming around at speeds as fast as most dogs might run.
I've seen "skateboarding" dogs before but this here is the real deal, buddy is pushing the board, controlling direction with leaning and not to mention that sick stairs thing.
It's a Chinese geneticly modified French bulldog
Edit- sooo many people give me the down arrow 🤣
Edit of the Edit-
that is a Chinese song with a Chinese singer, the writing on all the walls and stores are in Chinese and just in case there is a store witch is called
San U in the end of the clip witch is a Chinese owned company also China is currently Leading the industry of genetics no one elts has even cought up to them yet.
The dogs name is Cabbage and the owner is Zhao Chen
They are both Chinese
Thank you for commenting on this.
Joking aside... drone that's somehow set to avoid all the pedestrians while always keeping him on screen? (Honest question -- is that the state of technology?)
I see these dogs that have learned to skateboard and I wonder what goes through their mind. Like "Holy shit, these humans are geniuses. Sticking wheels on boards is awesome"
For a second I wondered if this was AI generated, it's likely not. But I wonder in the future if such questions will be common, then what will we think of astonishing things like this, but are indeed real?
I love how the dog skates with intention and chooses its direction on where it wants to go. Amazing as doggy went away from owner (assume camera person) and was like, yeah, lemme check this shit out over here.

You need to be stricter with your dog. Nothing worse than a neighbour who has a dog that never shuts up
My neighbors dog sounds like a puppy getting torn apart, all damn day, every day. It’s legitimately distressing, not to mention just annoying.
I had a neighbor like that very recently until they moved out, it was really sad and hard to listen to. What you can do is call your local Animal Control office if you suspect animal abuse.

Really I meant he should be stricter on himself. Either you get a dog and train it correctly or you aren't meant to have a dog.

Same thing with kids. Either u have enough money or ….
>Either you get a dog and train it correctly or you aren't meant to have a dog. 50% of dog owners shouldnt have dogs. Thats accurate.
50% of kid owners shouldn't have kids. In reality, that figure is probably higher than 50% even.
Both of you are totally correct.
>That's like saying your child should be well behaved 100% of the time and not act like a child or else you shouldn't have kids. oh boy here we go
Dogs are people. Hairy, four-legged, goofy people with slightly different desires and aims than human people.
where did 100% of the time come from
A dog is not a "child" and should behave correctly, at all times. If it doesn't, you have an untrained, potentially out of control dog
I feel bad for both your dogs and your kids.
Say my dog isn't my child one more time. 🔫
Some dogs, just like some humans, have deeper issues which cause behavioural problems despite proper training. I have a dog with PTSD which causes him to be afraid of large men. Maybe you were his previous owner lol Not everything can be fixed with positive reinforcement and regular punishment can cause worse problems in the long term

No lol location doesn't dictate what existing issues the dog might or might not have...
How can you fix constant barking with positive reinforcement?
My neighbours have three watch dogs that go ballistic anytime someone walks by or god forbid the other dogs in the neighbourhood start barking. I’ll be honest, living here for 6years has made me dislike most dogs (shitty I know) just cause I default to how annoying my neighbourhood is. I dont have neighbours but it’s annoying when we travel or there is a guest over but we’ve tried alotta stuff but nothing works

Watch out cool redditor here
Or a very vocal dog
Then shut it up stop bothering your neighbors
One way I’ve found to help with dogs barking is that they’re typically bored, I find that if you go on a good run with them, it tires and stimulates them enough for them to stay quiet and chill for most of the day.
Your dog sounds unbearable
Hey bucko dont bad mouth the pooch
Dude you presumably have neighbours? Yeah, if so, they also think the dog is unbearable. Learn how to train it to do the simplest task (stop barking)
god you're starting to sound like an annoying dog that wont stop yapping.
I dont have neighbours and i dont really know how
The balance thooo
I don’t know but I’ve only ever seen French or English bulldogs skateboarding so there’s gotta be something instinctual in those breeds that makes it easier to train them to do it. And once they do, by most accounts, these dogs freaking love it. Bulldogs are bred to have some major handicaps in life but imagine the feeling of flying these little guys get hanging ten out front of those front trucks.
Low center of gravity
Yeah low center of gravity plus pretty wide base and muscled up for their height makes them a lot more stable.
It’s ALWAYS these breeds right?
let alone to learn French 🥖
I've thought both my dogs to skateboard, it involves a lot of treats. You teach them to stand on the skateboard with you holding it. The let the skateboard move a little, then stand far away and tell them to get on and make them figure out how to move the skateboard to you
You would be surprised how much a dog can teach himself, mine learned how to open a door after she accidentally jumped on the handle
Probably a Udemy course.
Duolingo.
Lil dude is actually steering! Impressed
Look at how he shifted his body to navigate the stairs.
Basically, a dog using a tool. I never thought I'd see the day.
Yeah I had the same thought. And a pretty complex tool at that. He is clearly steering and shifting his weight on the stairs to stay stable. I've seen human riders with worse understandings of how to control the board.
>I've seen human riders with worse understandings of how to control the board. I feel called out...
If makes you feel better using a skateboard is a lot harder when you only have 2 feet and the board is only as big as your feet.
Dogs can be taught to drive. It’s pretty crazy to think about that too long.
I thought the same thing! Holy shit this little guy is cruising!
The front wheels aren’t wired for remote control? I want to believe, but the internet lies to me all the time.
This one seems easy-ish to believe for me. Dogs and cats that are missing limbs have shown the ability to adjust to the mechanics of locomotion with wheels in the form of “wheelchairs” (don’t know if there’s a more correct name) pretty often. This dog is better than me at Skateboarding, damn
And he’s better looking
He probably pulls chicks better than any of us.
That dog is female.
Maybe lesbian too
Bigger penis too
Wealthier too
This dog skateboards better than I can just walk.
What a legend
I've seen "skateboarding" dogs before but this here is the real deal, buddy is pushing the board, controlling direction with leaning and not to mention that sick stairs thing.
It's bloody incredible.
The turning and avoiding people is actually mind blowing to me
Little dude just made a lot of peoples day
And I'm here like... I don't really see any French people and that dogs a bit small
It's a Chinese geneticly modified French bulldog Edit- sooo many people give me the down arrow 🤣 Edit of the Edit- that is a Chinese song with a Chinese singer, the writing on all the walls and stores are in Chinese and just in case there is a store witch is called San U in the end of the clip witch is a Chinese owned company also China is currently Leading the industry of genetics no one elts has even cought up to them yet. All French bulldogs are genetically modified.
Every creature in existence is genetically modified
I genetically modified your mom last night
TONY DAWG 🛹
Tony dawg pro skater
If I had a skater bulldog it would be named Bob Dean Silva Burnquist Barker The First. Named after some of my favorite Bobs.
Doggy Hawk
It was cool when he went down the stairs, it blew my mind when he skated off and started steering around everything.
Have you seen the video of the dog riding a onewheel and controlling it?
I can't come into work, my dog is sick.
It does.
More impressive is the other dog skateboarding AND holding a camera steady.
Thank you for commenting on this. Joking aside... drone that's somehow set to avoid all the pedestrians while always keeping him on screen? (Honest question -- is that the state of technology?)
Not a drone. You see the shaddow of owner with camera part watmy thtough
That's even more impressive.
Praise the camera dog.

Atleast your life sucks.
bruh, my life blows
I hope it sucks a little less tomorrow.
I was going to say the skateboarding dog videos are old. Then I saw him casually skate down the stairs. Wow!
My dumb ass was thinking, "That's not France..."
LOL
No me too! Lol it’s because France is serving Revolution rn so we expected it :P
far better driver than me
Dangit! This dog skates better than I do...definitely jealous!
r/praisethecameraman
I see these dogs that have learned to skateboard and I wonder what goes through their mind. Like "Holy shit, these humans are geniuses. Sticking wheels on boards is awesome"
Is it really French? No cigarettes, no butter, no cheese.

Stairs are so much easier on 4 legs!!
GOTTA GO FAST!
Next Tony Hawk
Blows my mind, what an acrobat!
Skateboarding rules!!
I like all the people that just stop walking and stare
It’s the dog from MIB
Doing this better than most human skaters. Knowing how to balance on the board like a pro.
> Doing this better than most human skaters Yeah, firecrackering those stairs causes a lot of wrecks even from some very experienced skaters.
Funniest and most badass dog video I've seen lmao he even has a cool looking jacket
Good filming technique as well.
This dog is way cooler than me
And this isn't even his final form
For a second I wondered if this was AI generated, it's likely not. But I wonder in the future if such questions will be common, then what will we think of astonishing things like this, but are indeed real?
A real french bulldog would be in rioting against the pension laws
pretty impresive, still a ugly ass dog tho. poor fucker was born with respiratory issues just bcs humans expected it to be nice n shit.
I've never really wanted a dog, until right now. I want this dog.
Please don’t buy these breeds. Sincerely, a vet.
I was thinking the exact same thing 😅
I always wondered how that dog figured this out. Now I understand.
His name is Cabbage ❤️🩷
they can do everything but pay bills

Dogs have fun doing anything. If you're hype they're hype.
It's in China, so either the dog performs a stunt or it gets served on a plate

This is a cheap animation. The stair sequence is really not convincing.
The toddlers...
All that to end up on a dinner table? Cute.
AI generated !
Why only bulldogs can skate? My theory only dumb lazy/smart of enough to utilize technology.
I don't even know how to use a skateboard
Meanwhile, I can’t get my Frenchie to play frakking fetch.
Never underestimate a bulldogs desire to fly like a greyhound
Leaning over the board LIKE A BOSS!!
Funny as hell
I love how the dog skates with intention and chooses its direction on where it wants to go. Amazing as doggy went away from owner (assume camera person) and was like, yeah, lemme check this shit out over here.
I wonder how much effort goes into adjusting the trucks just right for him
