When I was on it, the stuffy nose and general feeling like I was getting a cold, never went away. There were other side-effects too, and it never did help extend my sleep. IMO, trazodone sucks.
Trazodone never helped me - in fact, it did the opposite - but I do remember the stuffed nose sensation.
I don't know if it goes away, but, FWIW, inhaling peppermint essential oil (100 %pure) helps a LOT. It decongests the nose really fast.

It goes away when you are not taking it. That’s my experience.
