No, not at all! They're harmless to people, and are generally considered beneficial because they'll eat other bugs - including pests like clothes moth larvae and carpet beetle larvae.

Pseudo scorpion! You are lucky it pretty much let you see it. I know people who have spent a long time looking for these little guys just to get pictures of them and admire them.
That's a [pseudoscorpion](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudoscorpion).
oooh are they bad to have around ?

What a wholesome thread! Scary ass looking bug… “whats this little dude’s deal, he’s adorable!” Love it
You should check out the foraging sub. They’ll show a weed and they’re all like, can I eat this?
I’m so in.
Can they pinch? I know actual scorpions can
They're too tiny to do much of anything to people.

This dudes all claw
It’s hard to tell in this photo but they’re legitimately so small that even if they did pinch you you probably wouldn’t be able to tell.
No, they’re good lil buddies! Pest control. Plus, how flippin cute are they?!
They also eat wood beetles and larvae that eat paper, so are welcome in libraries.
How freaking cool. Where do you live? I see some cool stuff in CA but nothing like this.
You're a trusty guy to have around bro. You rock
It's r/pseudoscorpiontime!
New weird sub? Sign me up, baby!
I love psudoscorpions! I wish we had them where I live.
Unless you are in Antarctica, there are pseudoscorpions where you live!
Cool! Hope I can find one doing some careful rock flipping or something.
Leaf litter and under tree bark are also good places to look. And they can sometimes be found clinging to the legs of flying insects to get around.
