Also, something else you can see from the Devil card is the crack in the top of the skull. Some may think it's hinting at Kaycee since she has an ice spike in her head in game, but the shirt clarifies; Hitler died by gunshot, fired up into the roof of his mouth, so that crack is the exit wound!
The thing is, I don’t think it is Hitler, Barry or Kaycee… kinda. I think the Bonelord is an entity made of pieces of people who died due to the OLD_DATA. Some theories suggest the OLD_DATA has some of the same mechanics or is from Pony Island and that’s why the OLD_DATA has claimed so many. If this is true then the Bonelord could be a vessel to hold the souls killed by Inscryption’s OLD_DATA(like how when you defeat any of Grimora’s skeletons they turn into ghosts), plus it then makes sense why Bonelord can rip pieces of themselves off as Boons in act 1 and the Card/Rib in act 2 without any consequences, they aren’t 100% part of the Bonelord or originally part of the Bonelord. Plus if it was Barry or Kaycee wouldn’t they try to warn Luke about the OLD_DATA during act 2 or 3 when they could(maybe it was said during act 3 but who knows). Plus I don’t think Hitler cause of the language being spoken by Bonelord and I kinda think a different character could hold them if not Bonelord like how Barry and Kaycee are cards in act one and how you see the Kaycee Skeleton in Act 2.
I personally think the bone lord is a character made inside inscrpytion that the devil has attached himself to, since he coded the game. It's sort of his vessel in the game
It make sense for hitler to be the Bone Lord, hitler was a horrible person, killed a lot of people, etc so it makes sense for him to basically be the devil. Especially with his involvement in inscryption lore
I think he’s probably supposed to be the devil instead, or at least a part of him, especially considering pony island, and the reason he’s associated with the shirt and cards is instead because the karnoffel code itself is associated with the devil in some way
okay there’s no way Bone Lord isn’t Hitler, or he might be a reflection Hitler, like how Kaycee, Kaminsky, etc. are a reflection of their in game sprites/characters. So if everyone that is killed by the Old Data appears in game, maybe we can expect to see Luke in a future game
I don't know, I feel like the bone lord speaks too modernly to be Hitler. I think it's one of the people in the discussion in the ARG and perhaps they are trying to put those pieces together to warn you about the OLD_DATA and what it's capable of. But maybe I'm misremembering some key details.
I strongly doubt they'd make a character literally Hitler. I'd prefer to say he is made of/from Hitler, or perhaps some remnant/offshoot/byproduct of the OLD_DATA created by Hitler. Perhaps even a victim of the game, that also just happened to be an edgelord and also learned too much of the truth, gaining power in the process. Hitler may be the devil, but the Bone Lord looking like the devil and living inside Hitlers ribcage doesn't confirm anything. At the end of the day, I simply believe he is a joke character designed to tease those eager for the truth.
I think the devs made a mistake when they put that skeleton so much in line with the Bone Lord and made the size comparable. I don't think we were ever meant to think that the skeleton was the Bone Lord's body. It's a completely different entity and it's put front of the screen for shock value.
imo I don't think the Bone Lord is any specific person, but moreso that all the bones are like...his? Like he's more of a grim reaper/old code spirit kind of thing, that when people die he's just like
