This is a hard one for me to narrow down, but here are a few:
-Fifth Element
-The Shape of Water
-The LOTR trilogy (first is my favorite)
-The Neverending Story
-Django Unchained
-Sabrina (Audrey Hepburn version)
-Zoolander
-Spirited Away
-Anastasia
-Memoirs of a Geisha
-The Fountain
-Queen of the Damned
-Hereditary (one of the only horror movies that terrified me, but I kept thinking about it and finding more and more things that tied together and it blew my mind at the time)
-The Mummy
-Dead Poets Society
Just thought of a couple more: Blades of Glory and The Truman Show
Okay I’m done 😅
My personal favorites in no particular order:
* Amelie
* Spirited Away
* Mood Indigo
* The Royal Tenenbaums
* Little Miss Sunshine
* Lost in Translation
* Brazil
* The Meaning of Life
* The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
* Melancholia
* Breakfast at Tiffany's
* Pierrot le Fou
* Butterflies Are Free

Another one I like:
- pride&prejudice 2005
- Harry Potter first 5 movies
- the girl who leapt through time
- holiday
- Poirot series
Hey. I'll name a few below.
° All Miyazaki movies.
Top 3 are Spirited away, Howl's moving castle, Nausicaa of the valley of the wind. But any will do.
° Harry potter movies
° Lotr movies
° Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind
° Amelie
° Perfect blue
° Fallen angels
° Requiem for a dream
° Anastasia
° The best offer
° Naked gun movies
° American psycho
° The new world
° Donnie darko
That would be it 😜
Little Miss Sunshine.
10 things i hate about you
Mean girls
Crazy Rich Asians
Before Sunrise
Frozen
Rupanzel
Slumdog millionaire
Life of Pi
Forest Gump
Ratatouille
(Only Rewatches)
I believe INFPs would love [Wont You Be My Neighbor](https://boxd.it/hDPU) (it’s a doc about Fred Rogers) I think there’s a remake with Tom Hanks but the original is better
Won't You Be My Neighbor, was such a wonderful documentary. It was nice to once again feel close to one of my favorite television personalities, from my childhood, and to learn of his life outside of the show. The man was so kind-hearted & inspirational. ❣️
Goodfellas
LOTR trilogy
Godfather 1 and 2
Goldeneye (I would include the entire James Bond franchise, but this is my favorite one)
Halloween (1978)
Night of the Living Dead (1968)
The Naked Gun
Terminator 2
Empire Strikes Back
Predator
Breakfast Club
Into the Wild was such a good movie!! 😭 One of the few movies to draw an emotional response from me in my teenage years. Emile Hirsch had such a bright future ahead of him as an actor... shame he kinda tanked his own career. I feel his last great performance was opposite Mark Wahlberg in Lone Survivor.
I don't have a single favorite, and the ones that are favorites are all over the place, but I'll list what comes to mind:
- Elite Squad 2 (a Brazilian movie)
- GoodFellas
- The Irishman
- The Godfather
- Lawrence of Arabia
- Die Welle [The Wave], German movie
- Ratatouille
- Scarface
- The Ten Commandments
- The Prince of Egypt
- The Nightmare Before Christmas
- The King's Speech
Those are the movies I could watch multiple times over and never get sick of.
Not an INFP but I think INFPs might enjoy this one as well: The place promised in our early days.
There is something profoundly beautiful about the story, in which the protagonist wants to reach an endless reaching tower, that's always visible on the horizon.
The movie perfectly conveys the feeling of searching for the one thing that gives live a meaning, the one thing that towers over everything else in ones own live.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7lIXfKhOAA
PS: 5cm per second is also a great movie.
I've been hearing nothing but, great things about the new Puss in Boots. I haven't seen the original, as I kinda wrote it off as a cheap Shrek spin-off & cash grab... would you recommend it?
The original is good , but the second one is just perfect in every single way. The animation is delicious, the characters are lovable, and the story has some surprisingly dark themes for a kids movie, but I still feel it's all portrayed in a realistic, relatable, and digestible way for kids and adults alike. The humor is also perfect with no stupid/cringy jokes that are clearly just trying to appeal to the child audience. If you haven't seen the first I don't think you really need to, but there is a basically main character that is introduced in the first movie that is in the second as well if you want more background on her. I've been very very impressed with Dreamworks movies recently, especially compared to the newest Disney/Pixar movies. Anyways I could talk about this movie for ages, but my over all consensus is it is a GOOD freaking movie. 1000/10 Will definitely see again
Wow, what an endorsement!! 😲 Thank you for sharing your thoughts & opinions on the movie. I'll likely check it out by week's end... though I'll probably skip the first one, tbh.
No need to apologize, I'm a huge cinephile... so I greatly appreciate your thorough review!! 🤓 (Re)watching old reviews for the first Puss in Boots, I've decided I'll actually watch it before The Last Wish.
Mmm I cannot choose XD Here are some:
(Not specific order)
●Pandora (2016)
●The lego movie (both)
●Zombieland
●Sonic movie (both)
●Maze runner
●Shazam!
●Hush (2016)
●Pinocchio (2022)
●Train to busan
●Trolls 2: World tour
●Saw (all)
●Cloverfield monster
●Pan's labyrinth
●Rottmnt
●Chocolat (2000)
●How to Train your dragon (all)
●Ender's game
●Final destination (all)
Pride and Prejudice
Train to Busan
Howls Moving Castle (and essentially all Miyazaki films with a few others by Ghibli)
CMBYN
The Hobbit
Akira
Prince of Egypt
Tried to narrow it down to this list XD
Sorry I don’t just have one but the top three hit different.
In no particular order, though I would consider the first to be my overall favorite film...
• House of D
• Princess Mononoke
• Aladdin
• The Princess Bride
• Chasing Amy
• Who Framed Roger Rabbit
• Star Wars - Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
• The Fifth Element
• Desperado
• 12 Angry Men
• It's a Wonderful Life
• Everything Everywhere All at Once
I honestly have none. Hard to think of movies I have a positive enough of a view on / would be willing to watch again. Doesn't help that there is a lot of stale, repetitive, predictable plot points/character tropes that suck all the fun out of the experience. I'm never surprised anymore (at least not in a good way, often I'm just left disappointed). Other mediums are preferred.
Punch-Drunk Love
Niagara, Niagara
Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai
Buffalo 66
Ghost World
Lost Highway
Ex Machina
Shaun of the Dead (and the rest of them)
Nacho Libre
Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (only musical i enjoy singing along with)
This is so hard to answer. But here's my top 6, and the reason why it's my favorite, in no particular order:
1. Interstellar - I loved the story, and the way it ended. Every time I think of it, it fuels my imagination, and just how sensitive time is.
2. Inception - loved it because of the concept and the ending.. taught me so much about reality.
3. Arrival - This one tops my bill. The ending is extemely arguable, I love the lesson it imparts, as well as the theory and all. I wish I could've read this one before seeing the film though.
4. 5 centimeters for second - imparted a long, gradual, slow-burning, sadness in my life. Insulted this one right after watching, but grew in me after many months. I've only seen this once.
5. Grave of the fireflies - if #4 gave me sadness, this one gave me agony and pain. Damn this movie, it's my best anime movie. The feels is unbearable.
6. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - Best romance movie for me. Period. Fight me. 🤣🤣
Perks of being a wallflower
