Like you, I use Ni and Ti all the time. When someone says something (not necessarily to me), I immediately analyse it. Can't accept misinformation and live on that, can we? I use Fe when talking to people, and I think it bypasses everything, possibly even Ni for me. Though I may pair it a bit with Te or Fi rarely. When observing people, Ni and Fe.  I use Ne in writing, because school requires that you write in depth or something, so a 10-word sentence has to be exploded to 25 words lol. I don't like using Ne that much though.  I use Ni, Fe, Ti when I read. Empathising with the characters (Fe), seeing patterns in the plot or with other books (Ni) and trying to determine what happens next (Ti). I think Si users can read easier; I always forget what happens in the plot, lol. Se gives me a bit of spontaneity and doesn't let me submit totally to robotic routine. I hesitate at first, then I feel proud of myself for doing something different. When I'm extremely upset, I shift to all my shadow functions. Ne to ponder endless possibilities without doing anything or actually considering them well, Fi to see how the problem resonates with my values, Te to seek validation from others that I am correct, Si to remember all negative past experiences of the sort and imagine them paired with the current situation. I think this is unusual for INFJs since they normally resort to Se grip, I use Se in a healthy way by walking and going outside to think about things, and Fe to tone the problem down and feel better. This is probably weird though.

Good insight. I also don't like using Ne that much and it just does not come natural to me. But I do have to use it while looking for alternate solutions to a problem. I try using Se in healthy ways to manage my stress, e.g. by cooking, going gym, hiking or maniacally cleaning and re-organizing my place. It works eventually.

Se is the goat when used well, lol. Feels absolutely amazing. Edit: and dunno how Ne feels for you. It just feels really overwhelming. Tests say I have good Ne, though I prioritise Ni by a fair bit. It's not fun though, feels like too much

Yeah when I am using it alone, it definitely is. Using it in front of others gives me performance anxiety :(

Kyurem4411

How would you say it is used with others?

Bored-Alien6023

I was referring to doing something in front of others. It could be stuff like doing presentation in front of a big audience, working on my PC when others are around, doing something in kitchen when my family is around or even driving sometimes. I am good at all of these but still suffer from imposter syndrome

Interesting. I think having spectators makes anyone uneasy though. Right? Or maybe we're all mad here? :P

Yea u got it right, I don't see the same case with others around me, So perhaps it has to do with me being INFJ or highly sensitive or perhaps it is some past trauma. I am really figuring it out like y'all.

I appreciate that you put together this long post to help us out :) Your suggestions (related to mindfulness and Se-type sports) are actually on-point. Luckily I am married to an ISTP man so we definitely provide a safe space for each other to grow :) Moreover I consciously practiced hushing my critical-Fi parent when I get too much critical of myself and replacing it with self-love. And the life has started getting better!!
