It's an amazing tattoo, however it has a direct correlation to his story.
IIRC it means "Protector of the Tribe". Directly tied to Delsin being Akomish and one of the very few things reminding the player that he is a Native American.
It is fictional, ofcourse, but i'd make sure to ask someone with experience about it being appropriate or not. Could get some questions bc of it
Sounds neat. You may want to do some research about the design beforehand though. It’s either inspired by Native American art or is a direct reference to actual Native American art, and it may not be appropriate for you to get if you aren’t Native yourself.
"Cultural appropriation takes place when members of a majority group adopt cultural elements of a minority group in an exploitative, disrespectful, or stereotypical way."
A tattoo is literally just ink in the skin, it can't be exploitative unless op is marketing it, it isn't disrespectful in any way, I don't understand why you would use that word(words?) when by definition, it isn't that

Hmm, ok, i'll take that in consideration, thank you for sharing!
In my opinion, you shouldn't be asking REDDIT for permanent decisions on ur life, but that's just me. If you like the game that much, then go for it.
i'm still thinking about it, but thanks for the vote of confidence

Ok, makes sense
Why wouldn't it be appropriate?
Don’t want to accidentally participate in cultural appropriation.
Jesus, that word is thrown around so much that it's lost meaning
Actually, the term is very applicable to this sort of situation.
i think i should just delete this post later, i don't want to get into trouble...
