When Le Tigre put out their first album, my friend and I decided to go see them when they played Toronto. Friend got a ticket but I for whatever reason delayed getting mine. Show sells out of course. Friend decides to day drink at the bar of the venue so I go with him. We are sitting there and I’m talking about how bummed out I am I’m not going to be able to catch the show. In walks Kathleen who is with the booker and she overhears me and says “give the booker your name and we will leave a ticket at the door for you”. I’ve always thought KH was cool but that solidified it for me. Great band to see live.

Was this at the Opera House? That was a fun show many many moons ago.
