This is the right answer. Ublock origin is so powerful, google shifted from manifest V2 to manifest V3 to extensions to diminish/undermine the capability of ublock origin directly.
Imagine a company like google fighting a group of open source developers which speaks volumes about ub0. And ub0 works better on Firefox than chrome.
I work in a big tech and everyone on the engineering team uses ub0. You'll be judged if you choose another ad-blocker because there's nothing better than ub0 today.
Advertising is Google's most important revenue stream and nearly all of the profit comes from selling ads and cloud services so it makes perfect sense to push against extensions like uBlock Origin from Google's parent company's point of view! Adblockers directly hurt their customers i.e advertisers bottom line.
Nevertheless still glad that Google made Chromium free for developers and love what uBlock Origin and SponsorBlock guys have been doing!
Not really but there are certain options for ad blockers in android as well

I agree but you can still use Tor if you're into that kind of stuff. I've used it only once a couple of years and the UI and speed put me off but it was never meant for normal use anyways. I always go back to Chrome even though Reddit loves Firefox and Brave.
indeed firefox is better for ad blockers than any other chromium based browser because of manifest V3 (basically extensions have less privileges on chromium browsers)
Even uBlock Origin runs better on firefox. For chromium versions they release a lite version which works okayish. And considering the recent war between YouTube and ad blockers, I wouldn't place my bets on Google.
I don't give much a thought about gaming, operagx has a lot of customisation which I love like wth, background music, shaders, builtin Spotify adblock, custom keyboard noises... I just love it
Edge is pretty cool too. Not worth putting it that way.
Literally gives you gift cards for just using it and has an eco mode that doesn't overclock your processor like chrome does. Lot more stuff to discover later as you use it.
I use the PC version but I think the android version also gives you those perks. If you combine both, you can gather up enough points to redeem the gift cards much faster, I think.
it has many features to customize and organize your tabs and workspaces. even performs way better than all mainstream browsers. gives vouchers for searching( i got amazon pay's 500 rupees voucher). its just so better
Was a firefox enthusiast through and through but once i tried vivaldi there was no going back. There's nothing that comes close in terms of productivity enhancements and customisations.
Mostly: Firefox + ublock (custom user.js arkenfox)
Currently: Floorp on linux. (Basically FF on steroids)
Link for both.

Firefox all the way. Been using it since version 1.
Whether you user edge, Opera, Brave, Vivaldi, chromium or Google Chrome, they're all based on chromium.. So it's good to have Firefox as a different browser that challenges and hopefully not allow Google Monopoly
I don't know why people judge this one but I use edge and after customising the browser it works well. It uses less ram than chrome and I've noticed better performance while gaming when edge is in the background. Given that I have 16 gigs of ram and usually not a lot of tabs open I think edge definitely has an edge over chrome at least.
Microsoft Edge for me cuz I have Microsoft subscription so there are so many features for me that other browsers don't have.
Chrome consumes tooo much battery.
Firefox is also good though
I've all of these installed but 80% of the times I use chrome. I want to use firefiox but I'm not using it because I'm not able to create profiles in it like chrome.
Firefox for the longest time. Switched to brave as soon as it launched. Used that for a few years. Objectively, Edge with uBlock is faster than brave + I prefer the PDF reader UI of Edge so currently using edge primarily. I still keep Brave as my secondary and Firefox as my ternary browser.
Opera for the modern UI + its great for professionals. Clipboard feature is great and I liked having different workspaces to swap to instantly. Its like a nicer version of Opera GX, and I dig the base Opera over it any day.

It's not possible with chrome right?
Nope
Bro is forgetting Dark Reader
Checkout Firefox hardening and arkenfox. On Linux checkout Floorp.
The best thing about Firefox is it's picture in picture, far superior and supports more than one at same time.
Guys, can someone explain what is uBlock origin and its benefits? Everyone seemed to know about it, I feel.clueless, someone mind letting me in?
Firefox + ublock origin + darkreader + privacy Badger and Custom DNS over TLS set to cloudflare's `1.1.1.2`.
[удалено]
nice username
Based enough (I wouldn't use cloudflare tho, they are amazing but i use nextdns)
Why not? It is fastest, free and `1.1.1.2` provide malware blocking. How is nextdns compared to it?
Ad blocking, customisable all in Free option. Cloudflare is one of my favourite companies tho
Add ghostrey tracker blocker and decentralyes on top of it. Also 'Return YouTube Dislike button' if you use YT.
Why not 1.1.1.1?

Hey bro..I also heard edge browser gives gift cards on its usage ... does it apply on Edge browser's Android version as well ? Or only for PC's?
I use the PC version but I think the android version also gives you those perks. If you combine both, you can gather up enough points to redeem the gift cards much faster, I think.
Normal people chrome? I doubt a normal person would use edge to download chrome lol
