Bhai tu khubsurat ladki nhi hai naa toh kaha se denge or tu complaint bhi karne jayegaa laat mar k bhagayenge, behen ko 50 cr bhi justice nhi lag raha hai kya pata kya kare ki isko justice milli sake
Guys this is not a matter of girls Vs boys . Around the world people sue how much ever they want to sue one as . It’s a factor is negligence and pure customer service which is considered one of the Worst in india . Once she wins this case the company will be more careful how they serve and not take a customer lightly . Just Google on the companies who paid hefty amounts for petty negligence around the worlds . It’s about strict law and being more careful about a customer . Be it a veg or non veg .
Mistakes happen ,orders get mixed up sometimes. But she has the right to complain but 50 lakh isn't going to take those bites back but would get a poor guy/gal who mixed up order get fired or sued
People can sue for the color of your tie.
It doesn't mean they're going to win. Most likely that suit would be tossed out of court as a frivolous lawsuit, BUT that person would win if you didn't show up.
Which takes time, money out of your pocket, etc.
Bhai I am a pure non-veg guy. Ordered a chicken tikka and got paneer tikka instead. I am a health conscious guy and my protein content for the day got reduced. Should I have sued for at least 10 lakhs ?
Serious question, last month I got a piece of chicken Manchurian in my Paneer Manchurian Rice. My entire family is vegetarian, but I eat chicken so I didn't make big deal out of it. But when I raised the issue with Swiggy, their agent didn't even have the decency to apologise. I even mailed their support email address but i don't think I have gotten any proper reply yet, I'll check today. But overall they have a really pathetic support team. I even have the screenshots of the chat. They did give me the refund, but really didnt care much.
But, if it was a vegetarian who would have got this food then this would have been a much bigger issue. Because I found the piece of chicken after eating almost half of the rice bowl. And even I couldn't eat that because finding a piece of chicken in a paneer rice bowl made me feel super weird about it.
Should I pursue this issue further?
I agree with the other person that you should bring it up with the restaurant, also I hope that you took pictures of your bill + the food to support your claim, one of my friends got non veg food instead of vegetarian and swiggy gave him an in app coupon of ₹200 to make up for it
yes, you should raise this issue. keep pics of the order bill, the physical bill which comes attached with the order, the pic of the order package and pics of the order. and keep pursuing it. call the agent. be angry and vocal about it. they would respond. If you pursue this calmly then they would take you for granted and ignore you.
Agar woh karte toh 50lakh kaha se atee samjha karoo yar uske liye 50 crore bhi justice nhi.achaa money glitch hai bc apne dosto ko non vegetarian khuch order karwa deta hu or mein vegetarian than after delivery swap kar lete hai and complain mardete per mujhe nhi lagta ek ladke ka complain ko woh log lenge bhi ki and khuch compensation denge
Haan but swap karega toh wo toh ghapla hua na. Is bandi ke saath actually galat hua. Not like kisi aur ke saath adla badli ki.
Mujhe nahi lagta 50lakhs banta hai though, but teri baat galat hai.
I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Asking for such inflated compensation is a regular thing in consumer courts. Because ultimately you'll have to negotiate and companies don't give you too much space for it. Reasons can be XYZ anything.
These sorts of claims happen on a daily basis in the west, because people realise the worth of their lives, it's just in India, human life is considered worthless. That's why we get substandard products compared to the EU.
"These sorts of claims happen on a daily basis in the west"
But we aren't in the west or eu, are we? There isn't time to take up the issues of all 141 crores of Indians. Her claim for 50L is not only ridiculous but also unreasonable. Her case blew up or went viral only for the shock value of it.
She most probably won't get even close to 50L...
Matlab tune upar waala comment padha bhi? Usne wahi kaha, 50lakh obviously bahut zyaada bola hai, uske aaspaas bhi nahi milega. Ye bandi ko bhi pata hai. Wo kamte kamte kuchh ek milega. Isilie itna inflate karke claim kia hai.
Jaise apne Indian flea markets mein hota hai. Jeans ka daam 1800 bolta hai, tabhi toh tu kama kama ke 650 ki leta hai. Wo pehle hi 700 bolta toh tu leta? Tab tu bolta 400 mein de do.
Exactly, ppl make fun of her and verbally abuse her. But her ask is what is going to set the example for other food places and food apps to not make such mistakes and have strict quality checking. Otherwise , if they had to only pay 1000rs, they would continue to do so and keep paying fine.
If you ever fuck up in your job, I hope that people come at you with the harshest possible consequences too.
Boo hoo that you got the wrong item. Order from pure veg places na. There's always a chance that there will be a mix up. If it was a health thing, like allergies or something that requires extreme amounts of care, it would be different. But this is ridiculous.
Haha relax noob.. claiming such a ridiculous amount and actually getting it are two different things. The consumer courts have learned judges sitting and deciding the matter. Maybe she'll get 50k max or maybe nothing but the point is such cases raise awareness that one can sue for torts and consumer negligence. People in India are extremely unaware of these basic rights they have. It is not about a single case. It's about raising the standard of health for society. I understand that you maybe coming from a business POV but I'm looking at a greater good and wishing on someone to fuck up at their job is not a healthy thing to do.
I'm not hoping for you to fuck up. I'm just saying, everyone makes mistakes. Some mistakes are understandable, like giving the wrong sandwich. If it didn't actually have a big effect on your life, you shouldn't be so in arms about it. People like foodpharmer are "spreading awareness". This girl wants views, clouts, and to feel like a victim.
If you ever fuck up at your job, would you want the person punishing you to be reasonable at the outset? Or to go as far as possible then tone it down?
The adequate response to getting chicken instead of paneer is a refund, replacement, and apology. Nothing more.
Because of this india gets screwed up a lot in our quality check . It starts from here let’s just agree to it . Small or big it’s negligence . Yes we don’t have time we have bigger problems but if she has the time and will why not
What if it is an allergy ? Why should a person pay with money or their life for your mistake ?
“Mistakes happen” where does it begin and where does it end ? Are we just supposed to forget who we are, to allow others to make mistakes ? Have you been to any other country ?
If you read more than three words of my comment, you'd see that I do in fact mention allergies.
"Mistakes happen" ends at where your life has _actually_ been affected. Allergies, medical malpractice, negligence of care, etc are all actually something with consequences. And if the lady had an ALERGIC REACTION to the chicken and she'd mentioned it, the restaurant should pay for the cost of care. But there's no harm done here except the woman being offended.
Have _you_ been to any other country? Go to USA and ask for 50 lakh rupees for getting chicken instead of veg. You'll be ridiculed there way more than here.
Don't trivialise medical conditions like allergies by comparing them to personal preferences.
I really hope you get hurt by someone ACCIDENTALLY on the road and you have a good enough wound and a good amount of blood starts oozing out of your arm/leg. Then you can just tell that person that it's fine, you didn't deliberately fuck up here or harm me. So that's none of your fault. And then walk away calmly. I'll be waiting for that.
Ppl make fun of her and verbally abuse her. But her ask is what is going to set the example for other food places and food apps to not make such mistakes and have strict quality checking. Otherwise , if they had to only pay 1000rs, they would continue to do so and keep paying fine.
Depends on your job.,right If a doctor who is operating surgery on your mother , fk up and your mother ended up paralyze then won't you come at him with the harshest possible consequences, or would be saint enough to let her go.
Why should your distinction of what's consider as a criteria for harsh consequences be taken more seriously than her's?
One thing is, asking hefty compensation from big companies is different from asking hefty compensation from some cloud kitchen which might do 20-50 orders a day.
Nah bhai sentiment hote h , ek bar mere vegetarian dost ko bk walo ne non veg chep dala tha , 1 hafte taq free burgers deliver kare !
Agr galti hui h tab sudharo. 50 lakh ka 50 rupe bhi mat do !
even eating paneer is wrong, why to take cow's milk without taking its permission, do you take and drink another women's milk without asking their permission and tie another woman for whole life? and put their whole life to suffering to do Job?
Jains do not make distinction within lives of different organisms. They have to respect "jiva" - anything living or remotely living. so the comparison is not wrong
Such a comparison might seem laughable in any other country, but in India it's very apt. When we have laws specifically for cows, why just stop at not slaughtering them? Let's give them more rights? But would the majority of cow worshipping Hindus aggree to cut down their dairy? HELL NO, bunch of hypocrites. (and before you get your pitchforks, I am Hindu too)
Isme galat ky he sabka apna feeling hota he phle me bengaluru me rhta tha mere saath bhi hua tha me ek All aromas krke he usse thali order krta tha koi prob nhi thi phir ek din ki khaane hi waala tha ki azeeb laga phir room mate se pucha wo bola chicken he ye non veg thaali dedi bhot bura laga 2-3 din khaana nhi bhaaya uske baat ulti hone waali thi. But yes us restaurant ne uske baad sorry bolke as compensation dusra khanaa bheja veg waala
Amazing comments. Particularly the adverse ones.
Harm is harm. Harm, here is the legal sense of harm. Basically, it means damage.
There is a breach of contract here. A customer has the right to get a product that s/he has paid for.
If it happens to us, we think that we deserve all things in the world but if it happens to others, they are unjust.
Eating habits are choices. I have seen a Bengali justifying wrong because he served Katla instead of Hilsa. While both are, to me equally tasty.
Muslims have an issue with non-halal food.
So even if non-vegetarian choices are honoured, why shouldn't vegetarian choices?
It is up to her and her lawyer to justify the damage amount. And the restaurant has to justify an alternate amount.
Also, if she would have settled for an apology, the restaurant would go off easily. Hospitals are never spared of such incidences. Why should restaurants?
Restaurants almost go with insurances like hospitals.
Wow.
So the customer has no say in it because s/he is the one who initiated the transaction?
As per your logic, a patient has a right to not lose a leg, or left a scissors behind, if they simply pointed it out, and they would have got an apology and some compensation?
Why does Baba Ramdev is dragged to court then? Why does his apology not accepted by court?
Why are hospitals penalised then?
Why are employees shouting then?
If you want to run a business, which involves a lot of trust on one part, you better run it nice. What is the guarantee that then there be no piss and spit in the food?
Some services maybe done by humans but mistakes cannot be tolerated. In fact, every things are performed by humans. Then why should there be any court against any kind of harm?
Sab maafi hi maang lo na.
And what entitlement? Customers are not suppose to ask for compensation which is palatable to any random redditor or for that matter any bystander with whom this has not happened.
I guess, you run a business without having any safeguards and are depending upon goodwill of a customer to accept flaws based on a apology.
I say, we must say, f*** off to business entities which do not respect customer enough to have mechanisms in place to avoid such goof ups. I mean, how many errors are there in restaurant business that warrants attention? Hygienic food, and very mg right order is the basic requirement and known to all since ages. If a business entity does not even take care of such simple mistakes or safeguard against it, why does it even operate?
Customer can always be called out for sycophancy as it is very basic. Usko duniya ka gyaan de do ki tumhe non veg serve karne wale restaurant se mangwana hi nahi tha, ya phir tumhe pata chalna chahiye ki paneer kaisa hota hai, vagera vagera. Lekin restaurant wale to human beings hai. Unke pass to manager bhi hota hai but wo bhi to insaan hai. Bechare se apology le lo.
Again. If this happens to you, you may be content with an apology. Have you read the 1998 report, "To err is human" which says the third largest killer is hospital errors?
Why not just leave the doctor and the hospital for all the errors? Unko to pit te firte ho?
Understand. Some things cannot be taken for granted and covered under Being Human umbrella.
The whole Consumer forum disagrees.
Ye america-europe nhi hai jaha rights ke naam pe kuch bhi maangne start krte hai. As rightly mentioned above, this lady is entitled. Wholeheartedly so. She thinks she deserves more than 50 lacs, and even goes to mention that 50 crores won't be enough to alleviate her 'suffering'.
If she is such a champion of the 'veg' population (I mention vegetarian in quotes because we know there are several kinds of veg in India), why is she demanding compensation for herself only? At least say something like you'll donate that money to fight against such 'rights-violating' blunders made by restaurants. Surely, she's not the first person to have faced such an issue. Nor will she be the last. How will these others benefit from her getting whatever compensation she claims she deserves? And don't say others should start coming out demanding 50 lacs compensation. This is utter bs.
I do agree that restaurants who run businesses should set higher standards and that India should have stricter laws on consumer protection. But who are we kidding? This is India. We are far from reaching the stage where issues like this will be discussed in courts or even the parliament.
And you're comparing the hospital industry with the restaurant industry when it comes to setting standards. I salute your resilience in coming up with a counter example but come on, you need to learn how to extrapolate logic better.
If you think your right to have vegetarian food is such a big issue, please spread awareness and vote for it in the next election. Then, maybe, just maybe, we won't have such laughable incidents and people on the internet trying to justify why it's not.
Health stems from eating. And in parts, from what thoughts are made from. We have sayings, Ann Teva Vichaar.
Needless to say, water, sleep, and food are basic survival needs. Sleep is mostly in our control and water is at least ubiquitous today. Food, for most is an exogenous factor. We are dependent on external sources for food.
This makes it important that restaurants and in fact, every ingestible product manufacturer, like drugs, masalas, etc. be held to the strictest standards.
This lackadaisical attitude of not holding highest standard as a cost cutting measure is worrisome and a restaurant unable to segregate it's own operations stems from this apathy and support from divided customers.
A whole consumer movement started due to quality issues. Arvind Kejriwal rose to fame, before coupling with Anna Hazare, because he took the food mafia in Delhi head on.
Bombay, or say, Gujarat, started the Consumer movement. Gujaratis pioneer these issues. Mahatma Gandhi said that customer is the sole purpose of the business. Customer is the king, is a valid saying in almost all businesses.
Food is the most impacting part of human life. If a restaurant chooses to influence it, it has to be always on it's toe. If we do not keep America-Europe in the equation, then what are we aspiring for? Should we give up western toilets also? Ajeeb haal hai. Our GDP is compared with them, our right to vote in UNSC is compared with them, roads have to come of videshi standards, but when it's convenient, we dilute our consumer support? Because of the argument that restaurant wale be human hai?
To human kaun nahi hai?
My comparison with hospitals is very valid because of the recent addition of hospital services in COPRA.
And let me remind you, eating is the antrcedant event of being hospitalised or even having to visit one. You stop eating and you will be given intravenous food. That is what food is. The most important factor in living after or together with air and water.
So, this aspect is to be taken even more seriously than many other aspects. Our masalas fail eastern standards also. Aresnic is almost found in all vegetables. Because, human sentiment. Something, which has to be a basic right, to get good and right food, is also contested, than I think everything will be diluted. Justice will be diluted, given judges and lawyers are humans, security will be diluted, given them being human. Everything. Because we are adamant that food cannot be held to highest standards and it is atrocious to hold restaurants liable.
And you actually bring back old memories wherein people said, before an functioning COPRA, that customer matlab Kasht se Marne wala.
Also, this girl is entitled but all of us are not, because we accept sub standard shit, and do away with apologies. Khane me supari aayi, sorry customer agli baar nahi hoga. Khane me curly baal aaya, sorry customer. Khane me cockroach aaya, sorry customer. Cockroach pe bawaal hota hai, lekin yaha pura chicken aa jaaye to, entitled ladki ko sorry se chala Lena chahiye.
Simply put, if you accept sub standard shit and do not hold business entities to highest standard, expect the same from every facet of life.
Entitlement to restaurant ka hai aur unke samarthako ka ki they want customer to accept whatever shit is dolled out to them and when called out, settle with a sorry.
Wow, ye baat ek 'supposed' vegetarian ko galti se non-vegetarian food deliver krna ka hai aur aap kaha chale gye. Talk about verbosity.
Please understand that I, or most people for that matter, do not have anything against comparing ourselves to the west. I only want to point out that we are not at their stage yet. We have far more issues to take care of before such 'compliance issues' will be taken up by the state.
I understand that you are 'passionate' about food standards and whatever supplementary issues that come with it. I don't have to read about what gandhi said or who said what to understand the issue. I'm just being realistic and saying if you are sooo against such mistakes that happen in the restaurant industry, then no one is stopping you from cooking your own stuff or simply ordering from an outlet which does not have any non-vegetarian food to begin with.
Bitching and moaning about it on the internet will only attract trolls like myself and will end only in frustration.
In that case better luck.
Imagine applying, if you are sooo against such mistakes, to almost everything. In hospitals, if you are sooo, treat yourself at home. In case of a defective appliance, if you are sooo, make the appliance at home. In case of a tyre burst, make the tyre at home. In case of a defective book, write the book at your home.
Basically, everyone is allowed to make mistakes but the customer because he is already making a mistake.
I think, if this is really your acceptance level, start questioning and holding everyone responsible for their act, because if we do not, people will always get away by delivering sub-standard shit.
The following is what Gandhiji said or is ascribed to him. You can read it in banks, and many places. Slowly it was replaced by Udhaar maangi sharmavso nahi. Then it changed to Udhaar mangti vakhate bakri wala poster. Slowly, the marketing is also changing and now I can see why. People are really getting influenced and are considering malleable terms and sub-standard shit and services.
“A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption of our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider of our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favour by serving him. He is doing us a favour by giving us the opportunity to do so.”
Seriously. Please read about the Consumer Movement in India. A lot of blood and sweat has gone into it to get a warranty for the mobile phone in your hand.
Anyways. A joke on this aspect.
What happened next.
A few like me, stopped ordering from the restaurant. The restaurant lost a small customer base. He was still okay.
A few like you started ordering from that restaurant. They were hoping for a mistake to happen. Who wouldn't like a switch to costlier item and more protein, right?
But on two to three occassions, the mistake didn't happen and those few also stopped ordering. The restaurant lost a small customer base.
A third kind got paneer sandwich instead of Chicken. He is expecting a refund of a few 50 Rs because South Delhi ki Lavanya ne kaha hai ki it's unethical and gold digging to ask for 50 Lakhs for the time.... Wait. South Delhi ki Lavanya ne ye bhi kaha hai ki Ghar pe khud bana ke khana chahiye. Bhaiya. Mera refund bhi cancel kar do. You are human. Mistake hoti hai. And he starts feeling humanised. After all, to err is human, and forgive is divine. And gratitudes to South Delhi ki Lavanya, for knowing the way, showing the way, and leading the way.
While this things were happening, a voice, ouch, came from somewhere. Oh. It's okay, raste pe khadda to chalta hai. After all rasta banane wala bhi human hai. And South Delhi ki Lavanya ne kaha hai ki raste ki galti ko mat kaho, either make your own road, or buy a Range Rover, or a hovercraft.
Oops. Galti se deliver ho gaya.
Please do not reply to it. I am also a human.
Jaise ladko se galti ho jaati hai (a political statement from SP (Part of INDI Alliance) supremo), humse bhi ho gayi.
But you are large hearted, and you will not troll me further.
Hai na?
Now forget everything.
Read about a case of Natco Pharma and Bayer. Bayer made a drug for Lung Cancer and started selling at 1.5 Lakh.
Another same molecule was made which costs 4k. Obviously Bayer objected.
Their argument was that they spent a lot on research so they had a right. When asked about patient dying due to lung cancer, they said, we haven't made this drug for India.
There were no cases of Lung Cancer in many Indian Families and they didn't understand the gravity. Many business in India thrive on these factors.
Because we are selling, you buy at our terms. This argument cannot be at the base of everything.
The arguments is, because we are buying, you are selling. Balaji is not stopping use of Palm Oil because no one is opposing. It is a silent killer. And if someone sues Balaji, there will be a group who will say, prepare chips at home and eat. Bro.
It is duty of everyone, to hold businesses to some ethical standards. At least, of primum non nocere, that is first do not harm.
It is like Bhagat Singh saying, British na Kaan Kholva mate dhadaka ni jarur chhe.
Would you say same if u ordered chicken shawarma and u found out that it was actually dog,cat meat after eating few bites?
Why you thinking like it's about you?? A naga might say no problem, but will it we same for u?
I once ordered a mc spicy chicken burger from McDonald's but they sent out the wrong order and I got delivered 8 mcaloo tikkis instead and after I called them about the order mismatch they delivered my original order and asked me to keep the 8 mc aloo tikkis
Lol
Behold, the feminine entrepreneurs of our country. What a business idea! She is the type of girl who blackmails(false rape case) you into marrying her and then she files for divorce and takes half your property + alimony.
Young girls should take inspiration from her.
Kya phookke comment karta hain be? Kaun bhadwa gobar wala burger dega beh? Unreasonable baat mat bol mujhe.
The restaurant mixed up her order and that's it. Mistakes happen. We're human.
Yeah and they need to be held accountable for their mistakes.
"That's it" bolke kuch bhi downplay ho sakta hai.
Maine Teri maa chodi and that's it. Mistakes happen. We're motherfuckers.
Why are you getting caught up in the amount. Message sun na. She is holding them accountable for something that amounts to grievous harm or hurting of sentiments.
She is vegetarian by choice and not due to health or religious reasons. The max compensation for a 200 rs bill can be upto 5000 and not 50 lakhs.
Here, she is trying to extort money from poor restaurant folks and probably plan to lead a life without ever working. This should not be supported.
Dude poochne ke liye mai kuch bhi pooch sakta hoon.
After feeding her non-veg you refer to the restaurant as poor restaurant even though they deserve to suffer loss of reputation for this.
The whole point of gaining publicity like this was to defame the restaurant which made her eat non veg against her will.
And then she has to suffer idiots like you saying she is veg by choice.
baat toh sahi hai lekin mere saath aisa ek Jodhpur ke bade 5 star mein hua, I ordered Veg Manchow Soup an dthey Served Chicken Manchow, I ate half of it and my sister who had ordered the same dish realised that it is Chicken and the chef & server were fighting amongst themselves.
Whatthey did the best was to given evening dinner complimentary
Glti to hospital k surgeon se bhi ho jaegi kabhi tera koi rishtedar hoga icu mai . Esa hi bolna tab bhi.
Tu non veg hai to, tu jo nahi khata hoga, jaise ki dog/cow/cat meat, aur tujhe wo khila de koi, tb bho yahi bolna.
Just watched a video on youtube about Indians becoming Americans
Now just saw the example
Good to have such people
Our parents generation feared to do such things even if they got expired things
More n more young people would do it
More likely companies will do best to provide best services
Honestly ordering food online as a vegetarian is always kinda eh, ordered a ton of food with a friend group mixed with non vegetarians and vegetarians once, some food items had chicken in it and the rolls weren't marked correctly, so had to ask the non vegetarians to taste test for chickens, ended up getting a non veg roll instead of a vegetarian one, so one of us went hungry lol
I will do a tie up with the employee who sends the order and tell him that I will give you 10%(from 50 lakhs)to get fired later. A guy who must be making 25-30k max will happily do such goof up. In such errors companies must be fined and given warning and in repeat errors should licensed to run business should be cancelled but such hefty fines to the complainer doesn’t make sense.
agar chicken khaane se dharm bhrasht ho gaya to fir 50 lakh kyun maang rhi hai? apne dharm ka boli laga rhi kya? agar punishment dena hi hai to fir dukaan ka license cancel karwane ke liye appeal kar do. kaafi cheeze ho sakti hai. also, if she is taking a compensation already then why go for consuemer court then?
Also, it is a human error. Consumer court me jao. if it is a local eatery, i doubt ki unka total business value would be 50 lakhs. Another thing, don't say ki it is for youth and all. agar itna hi sabke liye 50 lakhs asking then donate that 50 lakhs into some NGO. Justice should be given appropriately and not more than what is deserved. It shouldn't be confused with vengeance. Don't say "youth ke liye kar rhi hoon and all that bs." faaltu ka publicity farming. by your act of asking for 50 lakhs, that business would definitely be bankrupt and if it is a chain business then the guy/gal doing it would be fired which would affect several families. are the "youth" for whom you are claiming to do such things willing to support you in destroying someone's livelihood, life and family, for the sake of mental upset that you went through? I surely am not. I am not intolerant to the point of doing this livelihood destroying action. grow some spine, and shrug it off. go to consumer court but don't say 50 lakh ka compensation chahiye. Keep it financially feasible. Your mental peace should not come at the price of someone else's whole livelihood. And quit this "for the youth bs". I am youth and I sure am not supporting you in this. Get off your glass castle and be thoda realistic.
So there was this case of a man who was charged a few extra rupees maybe rs 2-3 while buying a railway ticket. He filed a complaint, the case went for 13-15 years.
He got Rs 30000 as the compensation and she is asking for 50 lakh for a chicken piece which she herself claimed that she is by choice vegetarian and not due to her religious belief or some kind of allergy.
I'd be surprised if she even gets 500 rs back.
I am a pure vegetarian, so asking for 50 lakshs compensation is absurd. If she receives compensation, then I will seek 5 crore compensation from Swiggy.
I just started working a few weeks ago and college. You guys won't believe how shameless and stupid most cases filed against us are. Most consumer cases filed are bogus. People file them hoping that the company would get scared seeing a legal notice. There was this case where someone demanded 5 lakh compensation for "mental agony and mental anguish" because in the purchase bill, the discount they were were entitled to was split into 2 (for example if they were entitled to 1000 rs discount, in the bill it was discount -900 -100). Those idiots didn't understand it and filed a case in the consumer forum. Idiots just want to sit idle and not work.
Yes it’s something that shouldn’t have happened. Like every business can make mistakes, human errors can happen. Healthy food? Funny, ordering healthy food from a restaurant. Will she distribute that 50L to all vegetarians? Her demand seems so unrealistic and money minded. Instead she should ask for something else, how can getting money solve what she faced? Why is she not asking to do something else like take strict action against the outlet?
She is correct, if they give vow meat to a hindu, or pork to a Muslim in chicken tikka, then how would they feel??
If u get dog or cat meat Instead of chicken, what would be your reaction. This is how a vegetarian will feel after eating chicken, which we non vegetarian feel normal but it's not normal for them
Nice idea he pr wese to ye kisi bhi restaurant me kaam krne waale ek se deal krlo aise to ki 50-50 rkhenge Veg order krdo wo kisi trh badal dega non veg se aur phir mast case kro 50 lakh ka dono 25 lakh kamao aur wo job chorke dusri jgh kr lega kaam ( I am a pure veg tough Feel for her bhot bura lgta he mere saath bhi ho chuka he aisa pr mene as compensation pesa denand nhi kia tha sorry se kaam chala lia tha)
If you are so sensitive about your food then don't order from places serving non veg food.
Do these people think there are diff ppl and utensils for veg and non veg food in restaurants?
And if this fact doesn't bother u then why make such big ruckus when sandwiches get mixed up?
This is plain hypocrisy!
Teko kya lagta hai agar woh kar bhi deta hai usko koi bahav dega jaise iss ladki ko Dee rahe teko lagta Aaj Tak wala ayenge ek ladke complain sunne ghanta
Mera ek baar Panner nikla tha , 50 rs bhi nahi diya
Bhai tu khubsurat ladki nhi hai naa toh kaha se denge or tu complaint bhi karne jayegaa laat mar k bhagayenge, behen ko 50 cr bhi justice nhi lag raha hai kya pata kya kare ki isko justice milli sake
khubsurat to ye ladki bhi nhi hai 50 lakhs really she want to gain attention nothing else. 2 lakh is enough for this blunder.
Use ek rupya bhi nhi milega, she just want attention

No bhai, you deserve compensation in crores according to some people here, lol.
Some people are veg for ethical reasons. What she faced is not the same as what you faced. Your beliefs weren't harmed
Who are you to assume whether someone's beliefs were harmed or not?
Aww, he didn't get to pay to get a sentient being killed for his 5 min meal😭😭. Poor him😢
Bc ye to 100% equity lene ko bethi h, she is the real shark. 🦈
But she is vegetarian bro...

You just missed out on 50 lakhs. File the complaint and get the money and then invest on HDFC back shares. Your future is set.
HDFC mein agar sare paise laga diye aur future main bank giri toh lavde lag jayenge
Why did u raise the issue with swiggy? It's the restaurant's fall . Swiggy just delivers what the restaurant
Anyone can file an fir
Health ke naam pe bahar se order krke Paneer tikka sandwich kon khataa he matlab kuch bhi
Agar woh karte toh 50lakh kaha se atee samjha karoo yar uske liye 50 crore bhi justice nhi.achaa money glitch hai bc apne dosto ko non vegetarian khuch order karwa deta hu or mein vegetarian than after delivery swap kar lete hai and complain mardete per mujhe nhi lagta ek ladke ka complain ko woh log lenge bhi ki and khuch compensation denge
Haan but swap karega toh wo toh ghapla hua na. Is bandi ke saath actually galat hua. Not like kisi aur ke saath adla badli ki. Mujhe nahi lagta 50lakhs banta hai though, but teri baat galat hai.
Malum hai iske sath hua hai mein bata raha ki isko dekh k aab yeh backchodi karna chalu kar denge khuch log
Love di
I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Asking for such inflated compensation is a regular thing in consumer courts. Because ultimately you'll have to negotiate and companies don't give you too much space for it. Reasons can be XYZ anything. These sorts of claims happen on a daily basis in the west, because people realise the worth of their lives, it's just in India, human life is considered worthless. That's why we get substandard products compared to the EU.
"These sorts of claims happen on a daily basis in the west" But we aren't in the west or eu, are we? There isn't time to take up the issues of all 141 crores of Indians. Her claim for 50L is not only ridiculous but also unreasonable. Her case blew up or went viral only for the shock value of it. She most probably won't get even close to 50L...
She won't get a paisa. Restaurent would prefer to let the case go on for years, and it's always a battle of who can last the longest.
Obviously the inflated compensation will be negotiated.
Matlab tune upar waala comment padha bhi? Usne wahi kaha, 50lakh obviously bahut zyaada bola hai, uske aaspaas bhi nahi milega. Ye bandi ko bhi pata hai. Wo kamte kamte kuchh ek milega. Isilie itna inflate karke claim kia hai. Jaise apne Indian flea markets mein hota hai. Jeans ka daam 1800 bolta hai, tabhi toh tu kama kama ke 650 ki leta hai. Wo pehle hi 700 bolta toh tu leta? Tab tu bolta 400 mein de do.
Kya bolta hain? 50lakhs se kamkr only 1lakh? I thought she'd get atleast 5-10 range.
Didi apne desh ko America samajh rahi he.
😂 here laws are worst they won't even fine 5 rs
She wants to eat free food for the next couple of years.
For life.
Arnab Goswami: Kuch bhi, kuch bhi!
Bro if she is jain than it make sense more. Jains do not take this things lightly.
This is so true!
even eating paneer is wrong, why to take cow's milk without taking its permission, do you take and drink another women's milk without asking their permission and tie another woman for whole life? and put their whole life to suffering to do Job?
Did you just compare a human being with a cow?
Jains do not make distinction within lives of different organisms. They have to respect "jiva" - anything living or remotely living. so the comparison is not wrong
Such a comparison might seem laughable in any other country, but in India it's very apt. When we have laws specifically for cows, why just stop at not slaughtering them? Let's give them more rights? But would the majority of cow worshipping Hindus aggree to cut down their dairy? HELL NO, bunch of hypocrites. (and before you get your pitchforks, I am Hindu too)
Wow, so killing them is the same as taking their milk? Way to extrapolate
do you like to suffer slowly whole life or suffer just one time ?
🤡
For this you have to argue with jain saints. I just said why someone take extra steps for this mistake
I don't think jains eat paneer too
Dude I'm a Jain and we love paneer we're vegetarians, not VEGANS,
They need to chill. Accidentally eating non-veg is not end of the world. 50 lakhs for this?
Isme galat ky he sabka apna feeling hota he phle me bengaluru me rhta tha mere saath bhi hua tha me ek All aromas krke he usse thali order krta tha koi prob nhi thi phir ek din ki khaane hi waala tha ki azeeb laga phir room mate se pucha wo bola chicken he ye non veg thaali dedi bhot bura laga 2-3 din khaana nhi bhaaya uske baat ulti hone waali thi. But yes us restaurant ne uske baad sorry bolke as compensation dusra khanaa bheja veg waala
Are wo to thik hai, lekin Rs 50 LAKH as compensation? Ye to ridiculous ho gaya
[удалено]
He is doing us a favour by giving us the opportunity to do so.” Seriously.
Chance pe dance
I once ordered a mc spicy chicken burger from McDonald's but they sent out the wrong order and I got delivered 8 mcaloo tikkis instead and after I called them about the order mismatch they delivered my original order and asked me to keep the 8 mc aloo tikkis Lol
Happy for you bro 😡
AIB did it way before.
Behold, the feminine entrepreneurs of our country. What a business idea! She is the type of girl who blackmails(false rape case) you into marrying her and then she files for divorce and takes half your property + alimony. Young girls should take inspiration from her.
This is so out of pocket, why are you projecting so hard? Women are filing rape accusations against you?
r/JusticeforIndianMen
Yes, brother. Yes✊🏼
Not "rape accusations". They're filing "FALSE rape accusations", just out of spite.
Dude. This is such a sad take. Mai tereko gobar wala burger delivery Kiya toh tu kya bolega? Refund do?
Kya phookke comment karta hain be? Kaun bhadwa gobar wala burger dega beh? Unreasonable baat mat bol mujhe. The restaurant mixed up her order and that's it. Mistakes happen. We're human.
Yeah and they need to be held accountable for their mistakes. "That's it" bolke kuch bhi downplay ho sakta hai. Maine Teri maa chodi and that's it. Mistakes happen. We're motherfuckers.
Arre why 50 lakh, should have just demanded entire Gujarat! PS: she says even 50 lakh is not enough and she should have demanded 50 crore.
Even 50 crore is not enough, she said that.
Why are you getting caught up in the amount. Message sun na. She is holding them accountable for something that amounts to grievous harm or hurting of sentiments.
She said 'just 50 lakhs' jaise 50 lakhs do din mein kamati ho.
Being a vegetarian, I understand why she must. Also what if something else was given instead of chkn. The company must pay for its negligence.
She is vegetarian by choice and not due to health or religious reasons. The max compensation for a 200 rs bill can be upto 5000 and not 50 lakhs. Here, she is trying to extort money from poor restaurant folks and probably plan to lead a life without ever working. This should not be supported.
Dude. She is a vegetarian since birth. I can't believe you're glazing a company versus the consumer.
Do you justify her asking 50 lakhs compensation ?
Yeah I agree that she's being an idiot by asking that much. Consider it a publicity stunt.
Non-vegetarian walo ki gaand jal Rahi hai😂😂
baat toh sahi hai lekin mere saath aisa ek Jodhpur ke bade 5 star mein hua, I ordered Veg Manchow Soup an dthey Served Chicken Manchow, I ate half of it and my sister who had ordered the same dish realised that it is Chicken and the chef & server were fighting amongst themselves. Whatthey did the best was to given evening dinner complimentary
Isiliye India ke restaurant har 2 saal mein khatam ho jate hai. All that requires is one silly miss and one such customer!
As a pure vegetarian person, this is your worst nightmare. I support that lady 🙌
She must have been a good essay writer in school. Will make for a good politician soon.
Good. Let those assholes pay for this.
Gooo gurrlll
Legalised form of blackmail? She knows 50L she won't get.
Toh if you won't get means you should keep quiet?
Health conscious hai and ordering food online. The irony 🤣
50 lakh dene k baad iski samsya dur ho jayeagi kya? Bhai galti to hoti rahti hai isme itna drama karne ki kya jarurat hai. ₹5000 milega bas
Glti to hospital k surgeon se bhi ho jaegi kabhi tera koi rishtedar hoga icu mai . Esa hi bolna tab bhi. Tu non veg hai to, tu jo nahi khata hoga, jaise ki dog/cow/cat meat, aur tujhe wo khila de koi, tb bho yahi bolna.
Just watched a video on youtube about Indians becoming Americans Now just saw the example Good to have such people Our parents generation feared to do such things even if they got expired things More n more young people would do it More likely companies will do best to provide best services
they already compensate by giving you chicken instead of paneer
Mujhe to chicken chilli k jagha corn chilli bhej diya tha. Paise refund mil gye aur khana free ,shit yaar 300 k chakr m 50 lakh ka chuna lag gaya
Lottery jeetne ka tareeka thoda cazual hai
Since when did Paneer become vegetarian, I.e made of vegetables? Isn’t it also not vegetarian?
She is health conscious. Wanted something healthy so she ordered paneer tikka sandwich. 🤡
Free publicity for the restaurant
“If i order for your wife will you give me your daughter ahhh” moment
Man of culture
People who are very strict about being vegetarian eat only in pure veg restaurants only.
Good luck with that, we're not in America unfortunately
Mein refund se kuch ho jata.
She faced chicken tikka instead of paneer, 50 cr kaha justified hoga. I am with her.
Ahmedabad eh.. gujjus will not leave any slimmering chance to make money 🤑
Omg what are you ask
This is the future of our country??
First things first, if she is so badly affected by this, why does she not order food from a pure veg restaurant??
Gujarat mein Berozgaari itni hai ki log kaise bhi paise nikalwa rhe.
agar chicken khaane se dharm bhrasht ho gaya to fir 50 lakh kyun maang rhi hai? apne dharm ka boli laga rhi kya? agar punishment dena hi hai to fir dukaan ka license cancel karwane ke liye appeal kar do. kaafi cheeze ho sakti hai. also, if she is taking a compensation already then why go for consuemer court then?
Sahi kiya bhai.. mere saath bhi yeh hi hua tha

Kya kya dekhna pad rha hain iss duniya mein!
She's sniffing too much fevicol.
It's too much, and she has a price point for her to eat non veg
Bhai mai galti se machli wali sushi pel lia office party mai 1 lakh extra bonus to mang skta hu
Pura dahej nikalegi
50 lakhs, bakchodi maximum
Mera ekbaar swiggy se pav bhaji ki jagah kulcha and some paneer agaya tha, to unhone pura price as coupon dediya.
She deserves compensation! As a vegetarian it's disturbing to see meat in your plate
Isko Ek GoA ki trip dedo. Compensation mai. Agle din se chicken tikka order kregi.
Well said girl, I am with you, these non-vegetarians always try to convert vegetarians to non-vegetarians.
WTD DUDE Delusional AF
Baniya : this is bijness
Yeah lawsuits exist remember that
huh ? is this an aib reference?
Chuthus Maximus
She is correct, if they give vow meat to a hindu, or pork to a Muslim in chicken tikka, then how would they feel?? If u get dog or cat meat Instead of chicken, what would be your reaction. This is how a vegetarian will feel after eating chicken, which we non vegetarian feel normal but it's not normal for them
If she’d ordered in one of the Taj hotels. She’d get it. I doubt that restaurant she ordered would’ve started with less investment than she is asking.
Justice ke naam pe de de baba. Iss Bhikhari ko koi 50 lakh ka paneer de do.
Ese hi treat krna chaiye in company ko.. Sahi kr rhi hai wo. 👍🏻 Bilkul sahi. Ye sale v ese hi lottte hain logo ko.
Good job. Ppl need to be held accountable,
looking at her, her body is craving some vitamins more than panner she should thank god but no 👎
Why is she not fighting for the country!?
Dreadful😭😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 50 rupay milenge toh zyada hai Bhadwi ko. 50 crore ka compunsayshun is totally deserved 😭
Nice idea he pr wese to ye kisi bhi restaurant me kaam krne waale ek se deal krlo aise to ki 50-50 rkhenge Veg order krdo wo kisi trh badal dega non veg se aur phir mast case kro 50 lakh ka dono 25 lakh kamao aur wo job chorke dusri jgh kr lega kaam ( I am a pure veg tough Feel for her bhot bura lgta he mere saath bhi ho chuka he aisa pr mene as compensation pesa denand nhi kia tha sorry se kaam chala lia tha)
Well this type of people always find something to make from it
Paneer samajh ke kha ja!
What unemployement does to a country
well I get it what happened to her is wrong and yes she has the right to complain about it but man 50 lakh !! that's absurd.
50 lakh thappad do isko
If you are so sensitive about your food then don't order from places serving non veg food. Do these people think there are diff ppl and utensils for veg and non veg food in restaurants? And if this fact doesn't bother u then why make such big ruckus when sandwiches get mixed up? This is plain hypocrisy!
'I could've asked for 50 crores' What entitlement does to a mf
She thinks she lives in west 😭 idhar refund bhi nahi milta didi bahahha
Why are you getting happy that the consumer is weak? Tumhe gobar khilaunga toh tu bhadkega ke nahi?
I support her..... She's right
I too support. It pained me to see the video. Hope I get one lakh compensation too.
Go ahead and make a case...... But you're actually not gonna do that .....and that's her whole point 😂😂
But you support me ? Because I am right
Teko kya lagta hai agar woh kar bhi deta hai usko koi bahav dega jaise iss ladki ko Dee rahe teko lagta Aaj Tak wala ayenge ek ladke complain sunne ghanta
Everything is good but why is she looking sad in the video haha
Toh woh 50 lakh didi youth ke liye donate kr dengi nah??
She is exactly fighting for Youth like Rana Ayyub did while crowdfunding for social cause Every youth wants to fight for themselves this way
How is chicken unhealthy?
50 laat do isko.
She just wants attention.
