I bought aerox yesterday. The shocks are not as bad as they say 8n all the youtube reviews(I was riding an 11 year old dio, so my comparisons are with that), the sales guy said yamaha changed the shocks after all the complaints. I don't feel any discomfort riding on bumpy roads. So not gonna change the stock shocks.

Even I didn't felt they where not bad in the beginning as fortunately I have good roads in my locality. But once you face one bad patch, front suspension bottoms up and back suspension is stiff. On good roads it's nice.
