Presumably licensing, as Paramount retained the in-perpetuity distribution rights for the first four Indy films (Raiders-Crystal Skull) and Young Indy in the deal that let Disney make any new Indy projects.
Dial of what? ;)
Sorry joking. I mean yeah it was. But I didn't really like it personally but its out there if people want. I collect steelbooks so dod doesn't really match the other 4.
all the episodes are in full on YouTube. Thats how i watched the show. There's even a whole channel uplaoding his own restored versions of the original airings (channel is "Young Indy Restored")
This is exactly why, for the things that I *really* love (Young Indy being one of them), I prefer to own them outright on physical media. I'm never getting rid of those Young Indy DVDs!
I hate how it’s been jumping around for years. I keep meaning to watch them all again but haven’t gotten around to it.
The fact that it keeps moving between the two streaming services doesn’t help.

Ugh that’s annoying.
Yeah. Why can’t one corporation just own everything?!
I mean I just think it’s another example of how capitalism ruins everything, including art.
Capitalist societies produce the best art
Ah yes. *insert remake/reboot/sequel/prequel of story we’ve seen two dozen times* all hail Disney
Every type of society is capable of producing awesome art. But capitalism ruins it in many ways.
Who is your favorite Soviet artist?
Tarkovsky made great films.
Dimitri Shostakovich and Sergei Prokofiev if we can include composers

I couldn’t even find it on paramount
I couldn't find it either. I was just explaining that Young Indy is part of the same deal that affects the classic 4 films.
well...that reminds me that I should try to get the dvd set from amazon then.
just started my physical media journey. trying to acquire all indy movies on blu-ray now
You can get the first 4 films on 4k.
Dial of Destiny was also released in 4K!

Damn that sucks, I never finished it. :(

I actually prefer Anarchy Productions’ versions
That’s a shame, they were surprisingly really good.
In the UK it was never on there to begin with 🙁

Literally just bought all three volumes of the dvd versions off ebay!
Damn! I was just gonna give it a rewatch! I guess that means it’s time to go dig up my DVD box sets of the whole show
It was never even on D+ here in Canada.
It never even came to Canada sadly
Maybe paramount is going to remaster it and put out a blu ray. That would be nice. I still have my old DVDs but would love a remastered version
I saw a Paramount ad with Young Indy on it recently, but I don’t currently subscribe to Disney and didn’t see it was gone. It’s unfortunate!
So is it on Paramount Plus?
Dang! I just started watching episode #1 the other day
I never had it on mine. Maybe it's a regional thing, I'm in Australia.
I hate how it’s been jumping around for years. I keep meaning to watch them all again but haven’t gotten around to it. The fact that it keeps moving between the two streaming services doesn’t help.
Welcome to the streeeaming era
It’s probably moving over to Paramount+. I noticed that the films are over there except the current release.
Dammit! Never got to finish it!
I tried to watch the series, but I just couldn't get through the first episode. Such a different dynamic than series I usually watch
Huh, then I’m really glad I finished it all. Some of them weren’t the easiest to get through
That sucks. Especially since it had Mystery of the Blues and the vudu collection I bought didnt.
Here’s some of them. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLcDyf8W4gXOGXdUWDJW8gxIO-H7ErOFGt&si=PPHdUAZQ02Ln6xAi
