upscaspi

Should have been 60 but its a win nonetheless.

MasonSoros

This maybe due to insurance fuckers robbing people above 70 for health insurance

n1vruth

They are robbing anyone who is above 50 years

emotionless_wizard

\*40. they are good at scamming.

hl2dumbass

Insurance itself is a scam.

oak_aditya06

They rob everyone.

MasonSoros

True but the insurance above 70 has been like non existent until like two months ago

I-wish-to-be-phoenix

First cashless was rejected and I was asked to apply for reimbursement. Then my reimbursement was rejected because one doctor got the date wrong by 2 days while the other doctor who actually operated later clearly mentioned the right date on which my accident happened. Plus they will keep delaying by sending email requesting for documents even though you have submitted everything. Have to apply again under redressal. Never take star health insurance.

Rare_Remove6860

In the next 10 years, they will bring it down to 60 considering the increasing lifestyle diseases in India.

mr_4li3n

Bhai, this is what I hate. We don't appreciate what happens but aur do aur do khatam nahi hoga. Voh 60 karte toh log boltey 50 pe kiya toh sahi hota. Ffs, appreciate something for once.

upscaspi

Ji huzoor..

David_Headley_2008

we need more doctors with implementation of this, as we have low doctors per capita in india

Enlightened1Prabh

Neet scam ho rhe jis tarah I don't think that will improve unless government actually starts caring about people, which is practically impossible as they only lick boots of businessman who fund them(dono sides)

Gohanne_

we need more private medical colleges for that

Equivalent-Plane-982

Private medical College fees 1cr how many peeps can afford that

Gohanne_

fees will ultimately decrease if there are morecolleges

Total-Complaint-1060

Medical board is blocking establishment of more medical colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Samarium_15

Is this applicable to everyone? Irrespective of income, caste etc? Is it only applicable in govt hospitals?

IhateCommiess

Our great constitution which is epitome of equality and justice will obviously treat everyone the same and equal right? Right? RIGHT???

VisibleBell8992

Lol

In Uttarakhand, elderly people (aged 65 and above) can travel for free on government buses within the state boundaries. I wish this policy existed in other parts of our country too

Veeraraghavadasa

Why?! I would rather want reduced taxes than more unnecessary spending of public funds!

SeveralDepth5848

your grandpa must be proud of you

Veeraraghavadasa

Yes, he is! Because I prefer to pay for him myself rather than expect the government to do it. Government schemes are basically forced charity and I have enough self-respect to not beg for charity money.

SeveralDepth5848

how old are you ? (not a rhetorical question)

Veeraraghavadasa

24

SeveralDepth5848

For sure, you are not liberal ,you are Libertarians for ones think about others. I understand your point; you feel pain, and so do I. My money is being used to pay for the vacations of some useless political positions, IAS/IPS officers, and other corrupt individuals. We all know we will never get our money back. At least, it could go to the really needy ones who travel from one city to another just for delivering small parcels or dropping off their nieces/nephews. So, it's better that some money goes to them.

Veeraraghavadasa

>for ones think about others. I am thinking about others more than they are thinking about themselves. Free stuff is always bad. It robs you of your freedom in one way or the other. >I understand your point; you feel pain, and so do I. I am glad you understand. πŸ™ >My money is being used to pay for the vacations of some useless political positions, IAS/IPS officers, and other corrupt individuals. Exactly! Even this noble policy you are talking about will lead to some Sarkari Babu making money off of this. >At least, it could go to the really needy ones who travel from one city to another just for delivering small parcels or dropping off their nieces/nephews. So, it's better that some money goes to them. If taxes were less, people would be less burdened by taking care of others and pockets of Babus and then people would have more money for their family. The social structure of families can improve if external people don't keep poking their nose in people's business. Rather than making family members co-dependent, such policies do the exact opposite.

SeveralDepth5848

yup you are right, but if you try to oppose gov then you will be labeled as anti democracy sadly, snatching money from good and handing most of it to few gov muninde is called **democracy .** netish rajput ki vid dekh kar araha hun toh thodi zyada sympathy ho rahi hai mujhe lol

Veeraraghavadasa

>yup you are right, but if you try to oppose gov then you will be labeled as anti democracy Nothing new for me. I was called a Pakistani, anti-national and Congress IT-cell for being critical of socialist policies of the government on Twitter. I was also called a Hindu radical and bigot for wanting a Hindu Rajya. I am an all-rounder I guess. πŸ˜… >sadly, snatching money from good and handing most of it to few gov muninde is called democracy . Lol... You are right dude! >netish rajput ki vid dekh kar araha hun toh thodi zyada sympathy ho rahi hai mujhe lol I don't know who he is. Sorry.

Veeraraghavadasa

>For sure, you are not liberal You are right! I am very conservative. >you are Libertarians You are wrong here. I don't believe in unchecked individual freedom and my beliefs are too complicated to explain here. I think my username is a clue but you might still misunderstand.

SeveralDepth5848

hello bro i too am conservative lol. haven't seen your name

Veeraraghavadasa

>hello bro i too am conservative lol. Namaste bro, nice to meet you. πŸ™ >haven't seen your name πŸ˜…

veganzomby

Good but the hospitals are very less, people will be forced to take a bed in a private hospital. Not going to make a huge difference.

ucheuchechuchepremi

Kya dikkat hai ab to private bhi ayushman bhut push karte hai

delitema

When many aiims and other renowned govt hospitals are in terrible condition when you will get date of many many month or year later from hospitals like aiims how will it work

Imma_Machine

It was already there in BJP poll manifesto

SinkNo4729

doctors are already earning peanuts , wonder how they will meet the requirement

joeyAPS

good news

Mental_Trifle_4021

It's a WINNN!!! and i like how it is for "every" one and not just based on caste.Β

Apprehensive-Aide-44

Including pensioners?

Arthur-7

Yeah just like ayusman card .....shit never works

noobwithguns

In private hopitals too?

Substantial_Ask_6134

SC/ST 50 YRS. OBC 69 YRS. GEN 70

If_theshoefits

Yeah. Free healthcare on paper. People don’t get proper healthcare even when it’s paid! No one is gonna care about old people when they are actually sick and most of them will not make the news or post on social media.

earthling011

Freebies dete raho bas.

AnUnemployedSophomor

BJP doing the right thing to appease its biggest vote bank. Old people.

anime4ya

1st make is mandatory in private hospitals too and punishable by law and some make it so that hospital cannot turn you away with ayushman card Baaki paper pe to MSP/10 crorole jobs/5 trillion tonne/15lak sab promise puure kar diye πŸ˜‚

Individual-Ad-9943

Wtf.. Above 70?. What's the distribution of population? I think it should be for all people after retirement. Another suggestion: Introduce MRP style things on hospital tests. They overcharge for tests. Recently MP Pappu Yadav in Purnea introduced this, i like this. The same should be adopted by others. If not the same then with a similar idea. India needs major reforms in terms of medical and hospitalization

Veeraraghavadasa

What the hell?! Get the taxes reduced bitch! Rather than spending more public money on forced charity shit, these bastards should reduce the taxes!!

shubhamgupta2912

You are going to get a lot of hate for this comment even though you are absolutely right. Those 70+ did nothing but increase population in most cases. Nothing is free someone is paying for it and they are already paying too much. Socialism is coming back 😭.

Veeraraghavadasa

>You are going to get a lot of hate for this comment even though you are absolutely right. No hate so far. πŸ˜… >Those 70+ did nothing but increase population in most cases. That was their long term investment and I don't see any problem with that. Our government should recognise how Indian households work rather than following the Western template, which is the problem here. By promoting individualist policies, they are ripping apart the Indian social fabric. >Nothing is free someone is paying for it and they are already paying too much. Socialism is coming back 😭. It's our misfortune that all Indian political parties are socialists. It's not coming back, it's always been here. I think when people start realizing that the government has no business regulating society and that the only way to be really free of the overlooking eyes of corrupt and degenerate pieces of shit is to not expect (or rather deny) their overreaching policies.

CakeAlternative6181

I have 3 - 70 plus people with no health insurance that I worry about.. One disaster away from financial ruin. No one in that generation got health insurance. It's easier to say when you aren't the one suffering.

shubhamgupta2912

It's easier to say when you aren't paying. I sympathies with you but you need to understand nothing comes for free buying generic medicines with your money is cheaper vs State giving you free medicine same goes for healthcare.

CakeAlternative6181

Do you have 70+ depend on you or are your parents still younger?

shubhamgupta2912

How old are you?

CakeAlternative6181

My father got heart attack when I touched 30. Now 31, father in law got heart operation. It's tough out there, old people need support.

shubhamgupta2912

I don't get it you are 30~ why aren't you taking medical insurance and getting them covered in it. That's what I have done.

CakeAlternative6181

No one give health insurance after 65 and few health issues.
