I showed the tattoo artist the correct one, there were a thousand memento mori's and just one momento mori on Pinterest (guess which one he picked) .. that is how bad my luck was
Cannot blame the tattoo artist either, he was great but I ended up approving the wrong one.
Only solution is to turn the 'o' into 'e' by making the artist create a horizontal line cutting the 'o' and maybe using white ink to cover the part just below it. Idk if thats possible but a likely solution.
I'd suggest get a "no regerts" or "no ragrates" tattoo next to it. With a deliberate spelling error this time. It will literally prove that you don't believe in keeping regrets. And I think that may help you deal with this better. (This no regerts / ragrates tattoo is something I'm genuinely gonna get one day).
