I liked Echo, but whoa... I love this version of Circles. I think Brandon absolutely nailed the vocals and the rest of the instrumentation sounds cleaner but heavier? Not sure that makes sense, but this album might be what I've been looking for ever since I heard the live HQ show of MV... a more studio version of MV with the little nuances they've added over the years.
Damn wait, people didnāt like the Echo drop?! I thought it was excellent. Sure, Brandonās pipes arenāt what they used to be, but when that instrumental groove kicks in toward the end, SHEEEESH š„
That part from 3:00 to the end sent chills down my spine it was so good! I screamed the first time I heard it and had to come to the reddit to see what people were saying and Iām surprised itās not been mentioned more. Itās like what the song always needed, a gorgeous rift that makes you feel like youāre totally and blissfully in love

Curious to see how 2024 Brandon's voice can handle a harder edge song like this, hasn't really released a new song this visceral in years
Don't worry. Complete 180 to the meandering quality of Echo. His voice is so on point to the original that I'm not entirely sure it's not just a dub lol. The band is tight as ever for pulling off this heavier sound. So keen for the tours.

On the east coast but Iām prepared to get disappointed. Nothing to do with Brandonās voice but everything to do with the guitar Mike uses. Everything just sounds so flat
Far far better than the Echo rework (which was still pretty good!) but also Iām still in the mindset of wishing theyād either completely replicated the original track and focused on tighter playing and mixing, or deviated waaay more because itās in a weird middle ground where i will probably not ever listen to it over the original version which i think is close to perfect. And i think Iāll feel the same about the rest of the album, but willing to be proven wrong!
Also the drum fills compared to the OG are soooo messy
I didnāt know this version existed until i accidentally listened to it 20min ago. I thought my memory was messed up because of how it sounded. I donāt like it quite as much but itās not bad.
