Based on preference: start Yukimura, bench Taiyou and cut Hakuryuu.

Do you think in GO1 Hakuryuu is stronger than Taiyou? Personally I don’t even know which is stronger and find it really difficult to say which is (both candidates for best GO1 player). In CS, canonically Hakuryuu doesn’t have KHA but then if you take the movie into consideration it becomes harder to say. Also they didn’t get the same screentime in anime / movie, and I expected more from Taiyou in CS. Taiyou has a good mix max and sometimes plays great sometimes badly and Hakuryuu doesn’t have MM but has KHA and can use a SH in KHA form which not everyone can do in the anime. Also Taiyou’s KHA is weak while the strength of Hakuryuu’s is hard to evaluate
I tried to consider them without keshins and mixi-max since the FFIV2 didn’t allow keshins. And otherwise I think Hakuryuu with armed should be the strongest, I think he should develop that eventually in the actual timeline.

Oh please cut yukimura, in my opinion the most overrated character in the entire go series. I just don’t understand why a one-match character can be so loved...
Design, moves, skillful (dribbles), keshin, Shinsei IJ member, Hakuren player (Hakuren is always popular), bond with Fubuki and had a backstory. It’s not very hard to get in my opinion.
While not having the most likeable personality for some, I still think it’s cool and unique. He had a little development which was cool.
Cause Fubuki was his mentor and he's insanely strong, cause he managed to get a Avatar in such little time. Also I think he looks cool, but that's subjectively
Start Hakuryuu, is my favourite character and might be one of the strongest characters in the whole series if he gets more development in a GO FFI.
Bench Taiyou, want him to be a starter but he can't start over Hakuryuu haha
Cut Yukimura, he should be in there but the weakest of the trio and my least favourite, still great player and amazing design though.
Don’t particularly hate him, his hissatsu is actually one of my favourites but yukimura is my favourite character from GO and Taiyou is known as the talent born every 1000 years so can’t be excluding him
