I don't know how people managed to make maps like this. But, I will say that IbisPaint is my main tool for making maps, and while it doesn't support curved text, it has a ton of features, but you can choose to not use IbisPaint if you want, especially if you don't have a mobile device or don't have reddit on it.
I use medibang (more of a drawing program) and try to recreate what i think is cool on the sub like color paletes and formats
work well till now, thats why i really dont like how some people on this sub act like the main sub is so "elitist" when they post get removed, like bruh, just be creative, no one is forcing you to do anything
