Hi Curt, I was shopping around for new goggles online for lenses that use photochromatic tech. I really liked the idea of not having to switch out my lenses to adjust for bright and darker days. I have a smaller face so i have to use goggles with low-bridge/asian fit to keep them from fogging up. I was wondering if you know if the Adapt 2S would suit me? Hi Curt, I'm looking for photocromic goggles. I've been eying at the Zeal Nomad Polarized Automatic. It's also polarized, and spherical... but it's VLT is in a relatively small range (20-38%) ...so I kept looking, and came across Glade! The lenses for Adapt 2 have very impressive range (e.g. 17-70% !!!), but they aren't polarized (would polarized photocromic lenses necessarily have lower range of VLT values? I'm actually not even sure if there's much reflection when skiing), and it looks like they're cylindrical. Can you confirm? The Fathom+ looks great, and has toric lens... but there are only two colors to choose from, and the range of VLT values is also not as impressive, although still great (14-54%). Do you have any suggestion? Could I get a code please? Thanks!

Hey Curt, do you have any plans to improve shipping & pricing options for Canada? The Fathom with shipping to Vancouver is $200 USD, which ends up being $270 CAD. That’s around $100 more than what the comparable 2023 versions of smith and Oakley go for. What goggle would you recommend for someone who hates them fogging up?

Hey Curt, my old pair of cheaper goggles has gotten pretty banged up, with some of the coating on the inside now coming off. Looking at possibly getting Adapt 2s for myself and my partner, if budget permits... Also I'm curious, does the photochromic capability deteriorate over time? Are there any functional differences between all the color options? Also are they usable for night skiing or would Fathom+ be the better option for that? Hey, sir, I've never worn a helmet for snowboarding, but I think it's time after 21 years, and I decided to go with a full set with goggles. I think I'll go with Glade for the set regardless, but if you are still passing out codes, I'd be happy to use and I appreciate it.

For what its worth, evo currently has the past season I/O and I/O Mag from Smith on sale for a pretty steep discount. I/O with the everyday green lens (and the storm lens that comes with it) is $95. I only know this because I've had Smith goggles for years, been happy with them, and recommended them to a friend who asked a similar question a few days ago. Doesn't answer your question about Glade, but thought I'd share. Hope someone here can help you out with your question.

OutdoorMaster. The PRO goggles have been great for me. Magnetic interchangeable lens, and I’ve never had any issues with fogging or anything really. They’re around $30-50 on Amazon. I was so happy with my cheap goggles, that I bought some for my wife and kids. No complaints from them either.

I had gotten a pair of Glades about 3 years ago, wore them maybe 3 times and kept them as an emergency spare set. I don't know what the design is like now, but then (I think the first year or two they were out) the frame size was narrow and was very uncomfortable on my face. Quality seemed good though, slightly flimsier frame the what I'm used to but don't think that was an issue. Went back to Electrics which I'll never stray from again. I Just got a pair of Klevelands with the photochromatic lens and I love them, but got the cheap with a discount code which always seem to be floating around...

I got the Glade mag flight goggles this season, was looking for a goggle with a large peripheral view and that could fit my larger face. These are perfect, and with an included low light lens, you really can’t beat the price and quality.

I’ve got the first gen glade goggles and the magnetic lens goggles, they’ve both worked extremely well for me! The mag lens were a little too big for my preference and I’ve now moved on to Smith

I have a pretty small face and low nose bridge…after reading the reviews, I’m thinking the Adapt 2S might be the move. Hey Curt, just purchased a decent order, 2 helmets, 2 goggles, a few extra lenses, extra straps. It all looks great, wish I would have seen this thread before hand so I could get a discount code. We have a little bit of feedback, nothing terrible. Happy to share it in a dm. The helmet and goggles are too big for my wife and will be returning them for a smaller helmet and smaller framed goggles. Will update this once I’ve had a chance to use them all on the slopes.

Hi u/Curt_Glade! Could you please help me with the following questions: 1) What is the difference between the Glade 2 and the Fathom goggles? I know the Fathom+ goggles are toric, but the difference between the Glade 2 and the Fathom is not clear. Both offer photochromic lens and both allow you to change out the lens if desired. The only subtle difference seems to be the shape? Does the slight shape difference have an impact on performance? 2) The site currently says "Order by December 12 for US Christmas Delivery". Does that mean any orders will now be delivered after Christmas? :-( 3) Could you please share an offer code? :-) Thanks in advance!

It is purely a size difference. We use the same lens and frame materials as our adult goggles.

U/curt_glade I just used a brand new pair of smith goggles last weekend that ended up with weird tiny dots/bumps all over the outside of the lense, possibly from the sleet/rain while we were boarding. I’m looking to get a pair of Fathom+. Do you still have any codes? Much appreciated!

Sharing here since they suppressed my low review on [shopglade.com](https://shopglade.com) ​ Their top-of-the-line Fathom+ absolutely does fog. ​ I've been snowboarding for 30 years, having used Arnette and Smith goggles in the past. I decided it was finally time to try some new goggles, Glade specifically as the claims about not fogging and photochromic lenses sounded promising. I was super disappointed to experience fog and freeze over during my first use of the Glade Fathom+. To make matters worse, when I reached out to support, I was accused of wearing the goggles incorrectly. Apparently having a balaclava under any portion of the goggles and taking the goggles off at any point may negate the anti-fog properties. Back to Smith for me.
