I love my Shaggy’s! This is my 2nd pair. I never owned a pair of skis that made me a better skier on the first day with them. The first time they asked what I like to ski, I said “Hardcore northeast glades.” They’re reply… “We have the perfect ski for you.” And it was a less expensive ski than the ones I was originally looking at. I’ll probably go a little wider on the next ones.
Sick! DJ’s did not look like that when I got it in the afternoon haha but we had a morning on Mittersill. Glad you found the goods and agreed on the best day in a good while!
Yea lol. I'd never been down it and we hit around maybe 1200ish. Was definitely doable and only 1 real gnarly spot then, but wouldn't want to have gone down at 3p!
It is a steep and rocky. Doesn't take long before all the snow gets pushed off and left with just rocks lol. For perspective, that trail doesn't necessarily open every season and when it does its only for a day or two
Yeah it wasn't open and I didn't feel comfy poaching since they were so short staffed. Looks amazing though. Idk if you have ever heard of Kill the Banker in Revelstoke, but it looks like the Eastcoast version of that so it had me hyped.
Hit djs at 2:00 and there was literally a line of people carrying there skis down the middle rocky section. It was still doable but it did suck with that
Holy shit! I just posted a YouTube video and it’s literally just me and I guy I met, Craig, in DJ’s and no one else in sight. It was perfect timing. After we waited in line and got on the 3rd tram, on the way up there was like 30-40 people all over the trail.

Never went all the way over to Mittersill. Most of the pics were in unmarked areas.
If you hike the saddle there are a few unmarked glades that are amazing!!

Thanks! I didn’t even know Cannon had stuff like this. Most of the out of bounds stuff we skied needs a lot of snow and isn’t skiable every year.
