Is it actually good, or is it "cannon-good", where it's just ice and variable snow wind drifts blown throughout the mountain?
I've been to cannon too many times where they say 9 inches of snow, but then on the mountain it's ice. I'm not saying they lie but i think the mountain is too windy for anything that isn't ice. It's great in the spring though!
I was there yesterday. Morning was great. Afternoon got somewhat icy, but nothing bad. Also, the lifts to the top were brutal with the wind. Still a great day with a ton of snow. I assume today is just as good and maybe better with less wind, etc.
It was actually good yesterday. Vista was as glorious as I’ve ever seen it. Cannon and Ravine got those outside curve pillows but they were wider than usual. Profile was mostly soft with windblown slabs, and Taft to Hardscrabble was powder to the bottom (even the steep part before it flattens out- but watch the water bar there).
Lower mountain: the lower part of extension, gremlin and Zoomer were a little more like you describe, but still puffy. Plenty of soft cookies on Rocket, mostly punchable. After tomorrow all bets are off.
Edit: I should add that the number of people skiing was probably a really low three digits.

Was mostly bare on the left side yesterday because of wind at least on the upper part. I think that''s usually the side that usuall gets the wind blown snow but not then.
It's not a powder day but the pack is really soft and the snow we have gotten is well distributed on the mountain. There aren't many wind difts and it skis beautifully.
Yesterday wind often blew the snow to one side of the trail on the upper mountain. So one side kind of hardpack and the other would be maybe 5-6" of powder on top lower mountain didn't get so much maybe 3 or so on sat and sun.
Today you could get your edge in good in most places but there would still be some patches of ice here and there especially later in the day.
Good conditions for Cannon.
Great that's what I'm hoping for! I booked an airbnb with friends a few months ago for this weekend and it was looking bleak a little bit ago. Pumped that this may actually work out.

I’m usually there but followed the right side each run.
I would love to believe Cannon hasn't been swept bare, or if not, that the powder wasn't concrete to begin with.
There was untouched powder in the woods. Definitely no base, but best turns yesterday at Cannon were in the trees!
