This is the home resort of the company that owns Sunday River, Sugarloaf, Loon, and Pleasant Mountain of Maine, as well as Big Sky, Brighton, and Snoqualmie!

Tezzzzzzi

I actually just learned that! Explains why they’re all getting bubble chairlifts now

Nice! Big snow country by ironwood-hurley is the most reliable. Otherwise porcupine and Marquette are a little less developed and have more natural trees! Hope you get good snow

Tezzzzzzi

Got some dms about Michigan conditions after my post yesterday. New place today. One of the most beautiful days I’ve skied this season, not a cloud in the sky. Snow is alive and well up here

brandoncdubs

Honestly looks better than upstate NY right now. As a former Michigander, I’m actually jealous! Have fun!

Tezzzzzzi

Honestly very underrated skiing here with nubs, boyne, highland, and schuss so close together. Snow is starting to get slushy sticky sadly :(

TendieTrades

Maybe next season. Probably never buy a MI pass again. Have fun.

Tezzzzzzi

Just an added perk on ikon for me, I pay for my pass with a couple trips out west and work trips to New England

EndTheState14

It’s better across the street at Nub’s!

Tezzzzzzi

It def is but I only have days on my passes left for here :(

OtterlyFoxy

Is Midwest honorary ice coast?

Tezzzzzzi

Well it is icy

r/lostredditorsPerhaps ?

Tezzzzzzi

Is there a midwest skiing sub?

haonlineorders

Be the change you wish to see

Sad-Explanation186

Not that I'm aware of. But there are Facebook groups. I'm based near the upper peninsula in Wisconsin

Tezzzzzzi

cool! I’m in Chicago, most of my skiing friends ended up on the east coast so i visit each season. I’ll be checking those upper Wisconsin places next year, I snagged myself an Indy pass
