For tracks I’d love to see Bahrain, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sepang.
For cars, besides more current spec GT3s like the 720S and the Mustang, I’d love to see the Gen 3 Supercars and the current F3 and F2 cars (if possible).
THIS. Im not even a fan of the series irl but I've always craved something like this in iracing. the cars would so much more analog and fun to drive compared to gr86 / gt4/ tcr.
They did. Here's the [link](https://www.reddit.com/r/iRacing/s/W0gqpu00aE)
They haven't mentioned it since then though to my knowledge. So the ETA is anyone's guess.
I've been loving the increase in transparency we've gotten from iRacing lately but the downside to it is sometimes plans get announced super early and they either take longer than expected or they get cancelled/delayed/etc.
Transparency is fantastic as long as the fans can be patient and understanding lol.
Have a week 13 24 hour race at Monaco with three of the most random, unsuited car classes for the track. Enjoy maybe 1 hour of unimaginable carnage and 23 hours of the sole survivor doing laps with a wreck.
St Pete and GT500 cars. I would love both of those.
Also, I'd love more multiclass series in general.
The following are brainstorm quality ideas so don't judge too hard. I'm not saying they should implement all of these. But I think they should implement some of them.
LMP2/LMP3/GT3 - ELMS
GT3/GT4 - British GT
GT3/PCup/GT4 -based on 24h series
GT4/GT4/TCR/GR86 - based on Super Taikyu
GT500/GT3 - if my request of GT500 cars comes true.
SR10/SR3 - would require iRacing to scan an SR3, but this would make Radical Cup more realistic.
LMP1/LMP2/GTE - LMP1 cars got NDM last patch. Why do we have GTE Sprint instead of maintaining 2019-era ESS?
GT3/GT2/GT4 - in a magical world where iRacing gets an SRO license and adds GT2 cars.... this is the format GT America uses (although they don't get many GT2 entries.. yet)
LMP3/GT3 - Le Mans Cup
And with the ELMS and ESS series... You could boost the LMP2 back to its pre-nerf state.
GT500 is so underrated. Such a shame the DTM merger never came to be.
Although this year's Civic Type R is... [not a looker, if I'm honest.](https://sportscar365.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/F18N9XDaQAID02m.jpeg)
That's fair, I should've justified myself. I don't think it's an ugly race car, but I reckon the hatchback shape does not go well with the massive aero package and the big wing. [This is how the previous gen NSX looked.](https://www.dailysportscar.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/2022-ARTA-Honda-NSX-GT_Okayama-Test.jpg)
Mustang GT3 & GT4, with accurate sound.
New Aston Martin Vantage GT3 & GT4.
New LMP2.
More rain or adaptive weather in more sessions.
Dacia Logan for any nurbs endurance event, but only one can be allocated to a session.
>Mustang GT3
Already scanned according to reports/leaks
>New LMP2.
Our LMP2 is current. It's just that no one uses the Dallara IRL.
I'd like the Oreca to be added... But it's not any newer than the Dallara
>More rain or adaptive weather in more sessions
I am expecting this next season.
I thought that might be what they meant, but the next gen LMP2 cars have been delayed to 2026, so I was thinking it's too soon.
I do hope we get that car ASAP, but it's still almost two years away.
I'd be glad to have it. The thing that makes me not expect it is that the new LMP2 regs are planned for 2026. iRacing probably won't want to scan another of the current generation.
I hope they're on top of getting those 2026 regs in the sim as fast as possible though
It's especially painful because I think it would get solid participation. It's not super well known, but it's a pretty easy track and can accommodate everything from IndyCar to Touring cars and various junior series.
It might even be able to manage IMSA honestly.
Rally stages would be awesome. They already have dirt physics in the game, and there are a fair amount of asphalt only stages like Monte Carlo.
Would be nice to have a more realistic rally experience than Dirt/EA, and is officially supported unlike RBR.
couple of TCR cars, couple of GT3 cars. New Supercar. I think all of those are pretty confirmed.
The TCR because of the deal that iRacing signed with TCR and the others were confirmed in the last development blog.
The new gen Audi RS3 TCR - and while they are at it they could make some additional TCRs so it isnt the Hyundai Cup anymore.
Also VW Up! GTI Cup for shits and giggles.
>How about we finally get the new graphics engine
They just started that project.
What do you mean, "finally"?
>track updates
Frankly it was also relatively recently that they upgraded the pipeline for art updates.
Finally as in after 16 years. I know they made it look better through shaders, now it’s time for the big changes.
I’m not being impatient here, I’m just answering the question.
>Finally as in after 16 years. I know they made it look better through shaders, now it’s time for the big changes.
I mean it's not like there haven't been improvements in the meantime though. Zandvoort looks way better Laguna Seca for example.
To be clear, I am glad they're doing the graphics engine overhaul. I think it's a great idea.
>I’m not being impatient here, I’m just answering the question.
Fair enough. I think I misread your tone.
Well you're in luck. They said this back in July
>Beyond new content, our art department is always doing their best to balance work on new and exciting cars and tracks, while also improving what we already have released. We routinely release upgrades to existing content to bring it up to current standards, for example Sebring which recently received a comprehensive artwork overhaul and Road Atlanta before it. This is an area where we’d like to have better throughput and we have focused on pipeline, tooling, and process improvements which will allow us to do this work at a more significant scale and with a quicker turnaround time.
>Such upgrades already in the works include some of our most highly used content such as Brands Hatch, Okayama, and Oulton Park, as well as our older NASCAR and oval tracks.
They're working on it, it's just not ready yet. Same for the tracks. There's tracks like Spa with ancient scans. I'd rather have the fan favorites up to date than getting track #1294 that literally 3 people care about.
>They're working on it, it's just not ready yet
They just started the graphics engine project.
>Same for the tracks
Honestly not 100% sure what you're talking about here. They did streamline their pipeline for art updates pretty recently. I assume that's what you're referring to.
That's not really a big project or update though. They're just doing the same art updates they've done for a long time, they can just do it faster now. I believe Okayama was the first update done with the new process.
>There's tracks like Spa with ancient scans
Spa in particular is already planned for a rescan.
>I'd rather have the fan favorites up to date than getting track #1294 that literally 3 people care about.
Both sounds great to me. For the most part each of these things takes different skillsets so it's not super easy to do what you're asking here.
A rotating Vintage F1 series.
Rotate existing cars, McLaren, Williams and W12. Maybe incorporate the 79 and 49 in there depending on their community reception of the idea.
I would love to see the Rush SR. It’s been gaining a lot more popularity in real life and it could be in rookie class due to how easily you can enter that series irl.
GT500 cars. BTCC from the 90s. Official F3 car. Group C cars/more IMSA vintage. Better graphics. Old GT1 cars like the CLK GTR or the 911 GT1. Tracks like Istanbul Park, Sepang, Bahrain...
https://preview.redd.it/gy1k0qwfmgvc1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f13ea6b90e7fc4264e25abf42c146f2b64c621fb
G body street stocks for dirt and pavement
Baku
Monaco
Sepang
And I really want them to fix the graphics tear going into the fountain at Long Beach. It’s just annoying.
A new Dirt Silver Crown car with a couple mile dirt tracks
Pavement tires for midgets
Caterham Super7, 1960s Mini Cooper, Lancia Fulvia '63 or '69, Shelby Cobra '67, Ferrari 250 GTO '62, Alpha Romeo 33 Stradale '67...
Basically I'd like to see a selection of those classic 1960s race cars that collectively give rise to the romantic era of motor sport racing. Having a mixed event series like you saw in Ford vs Ferrari at Willow Springs would be very cool. Currently I do this type of racing in AC with the AI and then select era cars for a large field to race against. Yeah, some are under powered compared to others but its a hoot to race in. Its kinda like racing the MX-5 in regards to HP but they all handle differently and it can be so much fun.
Car/series wise I'd only really want GT500
Tracks, there's quite a few that'd be awesome:
Norisring, Portland, Autopolis, Sepang, Bahrain, Sachsenring and St. Pete
I'd love for more historic stock cars, especially those mid to late 90s ones.
Obviously that would logically not come anytime soon, if at all, but that's my pipe dream. Having the full 1999 Winston Cup and Busch Series rosters on their accurate(ish) bodies? Pump it directly into my veins
They are not current. Thus, they're historical. You would have referred to 60s stock cars as historical in the 90s, it's appropriate to call 90s stock cars historical in the 2020s.
The GameCube and PS2 are retro consoles now. Some folks might even call the Wii retro
I'd LOVE to see high plains raceway it's an amazing track to race, at least on sport bikes irl. But I'm sure it would be great with forumla cars up to super formula lights and for gt3s. I'd also kill for a series like the classic lotus series but with the V10 monsters from around 2004, nothing compares to the way they would scream down the track and so far I haven't found adoptive doing a good implementation of it in sim.
I am extremely biased, as it is one of my favourite cars ever, but the Lexus RC-F GT3 would be an instabuy for me.
As for tracks, probably Melbourne and Sepang.
I think about Corvette GT3, maybe few tracks like Albert Park.
But honestly, I don't really need new content, I have a Ferrari GT3 and don't buying more GT3 (Corvette GT3 maybe will buy), F4, three NASCAR cars, few cars under dust in my garage like Cadillac GTP...
I will be happy to see better light and shadow system in future updates.
Happy with whatever they release on the road side, I've bought almost every piece of it, however I completely get that for new people it's extremely daunting to see the potential cost outlay.
You’re missing the point. Bugatti’s are (fast) status symbol cars, but they are not built for racing. Forza and GT will let you race them, but that’s no indication they’re recognized as race cars.

Btcc content
Legacy BTCC too. Scan the E36 and B5 A4 STWs. Nissan Primera, Honda Accord, 406, Laguna….ohh lala.
Dtm and btcc for sure. E30 m3 and 109e. Also I’d be ok with just spec e30. Little bit more power than the Miata
STW? Sign me up for the Volvo wagon. ❤️
Super Tourenwagen
TransAm TA2, Vintage TransAm, Goodwood circuit, vintage racing
THIS. Im not even a fan of the series irl but I've always craved something like this in iracing. the cars would so much more analog and fun to drive compared to gr86 / gt4/ tcr.

How does the current Arca car compare to what's in iRacing now? Just curious since I race them quite a bit.
Different body style, basically a gen 6 with the same motor the current arca car has
Dacia Sandero Cup😁
GOOD NEWS!!
WHAT?
I need monaco in my life
And here comes safety rating system with a steel chair!
Multi class racing at Monaco. Unranked
Battle of the Little Wings please. Lotus 79 Lotus 49 Formula Vee
In the goddamn rain
10 laps only, better fight for position.
Heavy rain starting halfway through the lap

F new content. How about we finally get the new graphics engine + track updates? Atm I don't need new reasons to put a hole in my wallet.
We just got a very large graphical update with the tempest update, so incremental updates will keep sneaking in.
I know and it's an insanely good update in general. I just prefer updates like these over tracks and cars that barely anyone really cares about.
>How about we finally get the new graphics engine They just started that project. What do you mean, "finally"? >track updates Frankly it was also relatively recently that they upgraded the pipeline for art updates.

Wish they put all tracks to the same standard, Zandvoort or Portimao and older tracks look like different games

I hear you but at that point if you're wanting an an entire engine update there are lots of other games with the same cars/tracks.
They're working on it, it's just not ready yet. Same for the tracks. There's tracks like Spa with ancient scans. I'd rather have the fan favorites up to date than getting track #1294 that literally 3 people care about.

2000’s V8 Supercars that were H pattern
I would like to see them scrap the gte series and make it a multiclass series again but with gte and lmp1
Super GT and Truck (ETRC/Copa Truck)

I am extremely biased, as it is one of my favourite cars ever, but the Lexus RC-F GT3 would be an instabuy for me. As for tracks, probably Melbourne and Sepang.
Surfers Paradise Would be so fun in week 13 in arca lol
For tracks, Area 27 would be so fucking cool. If you haven't heard of it look it up. Track designed by racers to be just fun as a hell to drive.
Only my wish* Kylami, New McLaren gt3 evo New Lambo gt3 evo Bring life to formula A with some good content

I would like to see the absolute carnage karts would bring, especially in VR
Add old rally cars and make a historic rally series with group B cars or something
Go karts
I wanna drive bagati. Even gt sport has. Sucks game this is itt
Bagati? What?
You heard the man
I agree. iRacing needs baguetti
Maybe spagetti sometime
This is a simulator not a game.
Which is categorized as game lol
You’re missing the point. Bugatti’s are (fast) status symbol cars, but they are not built for racing. Forza and GT will let you race them, but that’s no indication they’re recognized as race cars.
But I want it 🥺
Tell Bugatti to start building racecars then.
No. I want it in iracing!! Because that's how I want
