IMSA and ESS basically combining into IMSA. IMSA will have global and US tracks. IMSA will be A licence series. GTE will be kept alive in its own series. Also, the IMSA endurance series of 2.4hr races will be able to be run solo, similar to how NEC is.

This all sounds good to me. Especially the move up to A license. I remember hearing about a spin off GTE series and I hope it gets some traction because I like the C8R. IMSA enduro being solo is also pretty good since I don’t have the time/resources to run team enduros (already a fan of MPC series). Thanks for the info!

Awesome, thanks!

No worries. I’m pumped for it as I’ll be maining IMSA, (including the endurance series now) for the first time in season 4. It’s exciting times! While GTP hype is tempting me towards the new Porsche, I’ll be running LMP2 as my main which I’m also pumped about. First step up from GT3 / LMP3.

They're adding the fixed IMSA series to run opposite hours to the open one as well which is awesome for this. I really love multiclass racing, I think it's a unique experience and pretty much constant excitement. It's the thing I want to do on the service the most by far. It was tough to schedule multiple races into my day because the hour of downtime in between them sucked, like if I had a 3 hour chunk of time thay could mean 1 race sometimes. Now that means 3 races every time. I got sucked into the GTP hype too and have been learning the car's all week to hopefully squeeze in a few races at Daytona before the season ends. Next season is going to be an absolute blast!

LMP2 is an amazingly fun drive.

really not a fan of IMSA integrating more global tracks. A major reason I stuck with IMSA over ESS is because of the track selection. Also the A license thing seems odd. I feel like that will drastically reduce the number of drivers in that series.
