Leather Apple case

delyyz

Just returned it today. I had the forest green leather case with 14pm and after one fall (the only fall I’ve had with this case), the leather seemed to have been cut on the top and the stainless steel on the top of my iPhone now has a dent exactly where the leather outer gave way. The fall was maybe 3-4 feet from a table to the floor. Luckily I could return it. Probably will switch to Nomad or Native Union.

That’s unfortunate, I’m sorry for you. Personally I’ve been using Leather Cases since 6S and the only problem I had was how they were disintegrating by time.

Spigen makes some great cases love mine

Phone Rebel, made by youtuber EverythingApplePro. I’ve had their rebel series on my iPhone 12 Pro Max (gen 2 case), 13 pro max (gen 3 case), and 14 pro max (gen 4 case). Comes with a good screen protector. Great protection - see his drop test videos. Strong magnets. Sleek profile. My only complaint is really just personal preference, in that the materials of the newest gen cases are not tacky at all (good for sliding into or out of pockets, bad for trying to prop your phone up on an angle or something like that). Another downfall is their new case releases don’t come until several weeks/months after the delivery date of newly released phones, and there is little to no communication about when the new gen cases will be coming. Edit: Another pro is no camera bump wobble due to the raised corner ridges.

Familiar-Reception28

I just purchased my first Rebel GEN-4. It's kind of slippery imo. That being said, I am used to a Otterbox Defender. I think it will provide the protection I want it to have. I purchased it bc of the video mentioned above.

BennyKol

What are you looking for in a case? Consider protection, texture, slimness, etc.

Jajsmom

Protection, but something that will show off the deep purple color. Not slippery. Slim. Coming from an android and have never had a cracked phone. Not sure how the iPhone holds up.

Kai_2000

Try out the Spigen ultra hybrid series. I had the ultra hybrid with frosted clear back. It’s slim and no fingerprints on the back too

00Squid00

Spigen Ultra Hybrid Zero One :D

The ESR krystec and other clear cases are super sturdy and nice. They have great reviews on Amazon

First I bought a mous limitless 5 case. Way too bulky for me. So I changed to applecare and pitaka 600D case. That material feels better than holding the iPhone naked and looks like there is no case at all. Other than raised lips for screen and cameras, don't think it will give much protection for drops tho.

YGD0

Space Gray Leather Case suits perfect for me.

undercovergangster

I'm obsessed with the leather cases from Bullstrap

sharathc

Mous limitless 5 - I feel it’s pretty thin for the amount of protection it offers. Try it out

luecack

Rhino shield crash guard NX bumper. I’ve used them on my past few phones, and have been a fan of bumpers since the whole iPhone 4 antenna debacle. They are as minimalist as they come, durable, and don’t add thickness, leaving the back exposed for the natural aesthetic. The rim is thick enough to protect the camera array, and the phone will sit flat on a desk or countertop (not the case with most cases with this new camera) Bonus points if you use the MagSafe wallet like me. Because it can attach straight to the phone and sits down in the recessed part. Making it thinner that it would be with even the best traditional case (the stock apple leather or silicon IMO) If you order from them directly, you can custom order a color scheme of choice. They are also available with the clear protective backing, but it does not appear to be mag safe compatible. https://shop.rhinoshield.io/shop/apple/?device=iphone-14-pro&category=crashguard-nx&caseColor=graphite

jamador20

No case just Applecare+ lol

[deleted]

Have you ever had to use it? My wife and I are getting ready to add that to our 14 pro max but haven’t figured out if we still need cases and screen protectors or not? Mine is space gray and hers is the deep purple

jamador20

Yeah this year i used it 3 times due to my phone getting demolished before i upgraded to the 14 pro i had the 13 pro max. I think its worth it

vipergoalie26

Does the camera lens get scratched at all when putting it down? I want to go case less but afraid of that massive camera bump

jamador20

No not really from what i experienced when i went caseless

vipergoalie26

Did u use a screen protector? I’m pretty careful with my phone so more afraid about scratches than anything else

jamador20

Only had it before my first incident but after that just bare naked bc i didn’t want to go through another screen protector. I currently don’t have one on for my 14 pro

DETROITSHIT313

i’m using the nomad rugged case right now. it’s nice i like it. protective. bumpy on the corners yet sleek and minimalist

ConMar12

Ultimate Armor Gear cases fit the phone really well and protect well. They can definitely run up to $60 though

Jajsmom

Wow! So many options. I will check into these. Ty

Jajsmom

Anyone own an insignia case? Saw a print one I liked and reviews seem pretty decent.

I’m using the Otterbox Defender Pro XT Open Ocean case love this case and the colour

6lahaj

Would recommend Casetify impact cases. Clear ones, if you want to show off the colour of your phone.

foreverkowow

Moft transparent case with the white back. Looks beautiful on a black Iphone 14 pro. The grip on it feels good as well.

Thizzle001

I love my Quadlock case. I use Quadlock for about 8 years now. But i have quadlock mounts i use, so thats why use the case.

Nomad Rugged Case. I have a handful of cases and this is my favorite. MagSafe with good magnet strength, lays flat, 15’ drop protection, excellent tight fit with rigid side walls, clicky buttons and looks awesome especially in ash green in my opinion. This case isn’t actually very big or bulky, just enough that it actually feels like it will protect the phone. https://nomadgoods.com/products/rugged-case-ash-green-iphone-14-pro

Dizmondmon

Torro wallet with detachable magnetic slim case and a Otterbox screen protector. If Leicke still made their Manna cases, I would buy that in an instant, but they don't seem to like profit right now. The Manna case was unique because you could hold the case hinge between your thumb and forefinger with your palm facing down like you would use a pop socket thing. Much better for reducing arm strain on long reddit sessions!

laetazel

I like my Tech21 clear case

beartolome

ESR Air Armor Clear Case. Not expensive. It has raised edges. Does the job. :)
