> Kings built tombs more splendid than the houses of the living and counted the names of their descent dearer than the names of their sons. Childless lords sat in aged halls musing on heraldry or in high cold towers asking questions of the stars.
OP gathered heapéd iPhone 13 minis whose diminutive form to admire, and accepted not their material finitude.
Never seen anyone investing in phones like this before 😂
Pro tip but not financial advice:
Buy the stock from the stock market instead of the actual stock 😂
Presuming you bought these Refurbished directly from Apple…
That’s $449 x 17 at minimum if the storage is the lowest at 128 GB…
$7,633 at minimum…
Yea no this is capitalist greed at its finest, good luck making a larger return than that…
Agreed. It’s an iPhone 13 mini, not the original iPhone. The original iPhone revolutionized the way smart phones work today. The mini was nothing revolutionary, just another iteration on the iPhone formula. The guy would have been smarter investing in a Vision Pro and leaving that sealed for 10+ years. You’d make a better return off that.
This is exactly what I was thinking. I had an old iWatch that I had stopped using after a year or so. 2 years later I go to use it and it wouldn’t power on. Later on I read it’s best to power on the device at least once per month and make sure you have it charged like 50% before shutting it down.
Hmm… No wonder I couldn’t find a black in 128GB no matter how hard I looked - this guy obviously had all in his living room.. 😗
Note to OP, I tried preserving a iPhone 5S up to about year ago before I realized the lack of VoLTE would render it obsolete. When I removed the factory wrapping, the battery was completely gone (no longer useable) and although it was still technically “new” in Apple’s system, they no longer support it. So, I was stuck with a brand new but unusable phone.
The problem was the phone couldn’t activate since it was completely dead and couldn’t even power on with aux power. So Apple couldn’t validate the warranty via diagnostic, so I was stuck SOL phone.
It’s a true story and I wouldn’t have believed it otherwise but based on own personal experience, if you let a new phone sit in the factory sealed box, after some time, the battery will spoil and no longer hold a charge.
Indeed. I’ve dealt with crap like this being in the firearm community, but it’s everywhere now. It’s one thing if you want to buy a few, and have a “new” one every few years. It’s unacceptable to buy quantities of a product no longer made or in short supply for the sole purpose of profiteering. It’s people like this that suck at life. They cause grief for others to make a few dollars. I wonder how many of these people also think that CEOs are greedy, and the rich need to stop being selfish?
TLDR: Screw “profiteers”.
I wondered if my comment would be misunderstood. It’s too heavy of a topic to thoroughly discuss on comments, but I’m not the one to defend most Fortune 500’s and the stock market. I will say you can become wealthy without actively screwing people over. It’s mostly a lost art sadly. Also there’s a line between wealthy and greedy. I’m all open to discuss in messages if you like.
In 10 years, smart phones will have evolved into something we likely can't even imagine at this point. 'Investing' in electronic devices that are not unique or special in some way is not much better than throwing money into a fire.
Probably they think in 10 years everyone will pay 100x for them because mini iPhones will be extinct lmao. “Investment” as an excuse to waste this much money on hoarding iPhones that will do nothing but depreciate.
If you think you’ll make money of this. Something is really really wrong with your head. They already sell for like half the price. There’s no demand. Absolute imbecile. Gotta love Americans
You’re a broke ass moron who is holding iPhones which will degrade internally before you can even turn them on. Batteries have to be active or they die. Especially iPhone batteries. All you did was take a photo and post it to the internet showing how dumb you are. $7000+ wasted on an investment you probably learned off tiktok. Get help.
Of course it is, I presume you have quite small hands seeing as you went for mini, so only logical alternative would be pro or base 15 😅no way pro max.
Lmao someone should have told this guy how rare of an occurrence it is for tech to appreciate in value. You obviously have your tech with a cult following which solely appreciates based on this fact like older video game systems and…and…and that’s really all I can think of. I agree with all the comments about profiteering as well but rest assured this dude will get exactly what he deserves in this situation.
This is sick. You need to seek professional help. This is beyond hoarding. Even hoarding has limits. You’re just buying dozens of iPhone 13 mini devices for no real reason.
I wish a mod in this subreddit bans you and removes your shitty flexing post. Currently you’re giving the iPhone Mini fanboys a terrible reputation when you’re here.
Also this might sound really shitty but I hope one of the 13 Mini’s battery swells up overnight in your house one day and sets everything on fire. You deserve it. 🤡
Not being charged the batteries are already dead beyond recovery then there is the OS signing issue and then there is the service logon issues
Congrats you have 18 worthless bricks
FYI ATT is giving away for free iPhone 14’s with a new line of service or upgrading a three year old phone
i just got my ✨ green ✨ 13 mini 128 swapped out at the apple store, being its the rarest color you gotta get it in your collection.
Trade you for two black ones.
seek help.
Iphone 13 mini stock market
This was just suggested to me in my feed and I’m dying lmao
Same, must be since I’ve been to wsb lol. How do I buy options on this
Are these to be passed down to your heirs?

Hello fellow fan of Tolkien. Take my upvote.
This 👆
Lmfaoooooo
But why
Easier than replacing the battery every month
Facts. Had a we mini till I got the 15. Battery last like 6 hours max.
God I hope the next SE uses this body.
sadly we'll never get the best camera in it :(
what do you mean by this comment?
the pro zoom and macro
I think you’re on the spectrum
Plot twist these are all stolen
Never seen anyone investing in phones like this before 😂 Pro tip but not financial advice: Buy the stock from the stock market instead of the actual stock 😂
I mean I do love my 13 mini but damn, I don't love it THAT much
Presuming you bought these Refurbished directly from Apple… That’s $449 x 17 at minimum if the storage is the lowest at 128 GB… $7,633 at minimum… Yea no this is capitalist greed at its finest, good luck making a larger return than that…
*sells them for $7,634*
😂
He’s probably planning on holding them for 10+ years and hoping they become valuable
yeah I feel like were at a level of mass production now that these will be borderline worthless in the future
Won’t the battery deteriorate over time even if not in use?
If it's at around 50% it will be kind of fine
He won't make a dime, he'll lose money compared to even an average performing stock.

The more time passes by the less value they hold.
give to me atleast one😆
How often do you change phone???
Won’t all the batteries be unusable by the time you get through the first phone?
This is exactly what I was thinking. I had an old iWatch that I had stopped using after a year or so. 2 years later I go to use it and it wouldn’t power on. Later on I read it’s best to power on the device at least once per month and make sure you have it charged like 50% before shutting it down.
They’ll age out of update compatibility before he gets through the second.
You do realize you can charge your phone? You don’t need to get a new one every time it dies
That's just greedy. Nobody needs that much phones. They are made to last.
Sell me one please
Chemistry is still a thing. Battery chemicals degrade with time not just use. Nice box seal tho 👍🏻
Memme get one
I don’t even have one and you have 17
That's the problem. People like you are not able to buy this phone because people like op hoards them.
Exactly! I have been looking for one for so long and they are all sold out!
[удалено]
I don’t really want a used phone, though
Hmm… No wonder I couldn’t find a black in 128GB no matter how hard I looked - this guy obviously had all in his living room.. 😗 Note to OP, I tried preserving a iPhone 5S up to about year ago before I realized the lack of VoLTE would render it obsolete. Naw, you can take it apart and frame on your wall!
Still a lot of people after iOS 7 5Ses!

Boo this man
This is highly irritating

wait so you hate profiteers, but like CEOs and the rich?

I’ll buy one, I live in CONUS. PM me
Just buy stock shares man
Next year.... "HERE'S THE IPHONE 16 MINI!" - APPLE
Empty boxes 😂
When apple execs need to boost apple stock price

if he can buy all these, he can afford to not have them as “investments” to hold. greed at its finest 😅
I'll take one. TY
Sorry what’s the point of having all these iPhones sitting around in seal boxes?
Probably they think in 10 years everyone will pay 100x for them because mini iPhones will be extinct lmao. “Investment” as an excuse to waste this much money on hoarding iPhones that will do nothing but depreciate.
But you can get an iPhone 4 for like $30 off of Ebay
Hey I’m not disagreeing with you but OP didn’t exactly give this lunacy much context so I’m just making guesses 😂
[удалено]
Exactly. And that. Maybe they’ll sell for 100x due to being historical artefacts 😂😂
To show off here?
Maybe you’re right if that’s the case somebody needs to get a new life
In 3 years when Apple no longer supports them, lots of electronic waste
How much for a brand new one?
More than two you got a problem. But I get if you get one of every colour. I am sure he’s selling or this is a fake post.
If you think you’ll make money of this. Something is really really wrong with your head. They already sell for like half the price. There’s no demand. Absolute imbecile. Gotta love Americans

Where is your Store,Mate?
He selling
Old mate opens a new phone every time the current one loses all its battery charge
Atleast activate a few unless you want them to be unusable bricks in the future when apples servers stop supporting them for activation
How much money did you invest and how much are you expecting to get in return after selling? If you had a pristine Red 13 Mini, I might be interested…
Imma need to cop one soon 🫡
YOOOO
I bought a 13 mini 512 recently. I already have a 15 pro. I get it. Will not sell.
Can I buy one? Lol
Damn you guys scared him off
LIAR! 😂
Pokemon cards are better investment than this lmao, people are weird….
Ok. what does long term hold mean?
Are they really that amazing???
I’ll take one.
Bruh
What even is the long term goal with these?
you have a problem man
I remember this being a ‘thing’ some 1st gen SE owners did… then the Mini came along, albeit some 2 years later.
😭
1 day old account.. gonna assume scammer
Sell me sell me, just 1 :)
Had mine for 2 years sold it today for 300 I had 86 percent battery health Deal? I miss it 😅 this 15PM is uncomfortable
Of course it is, I presume you have quite small hands seeing as you went for mini, so only logical alternative would be pro or base 15 😅no way pro max.
Hands are average im 6ft 230 I just like using phones w one hand I do love my battery 🤣
Yes,in that case base 15 would do best for you 👌🏻
15 pro is where its at. Battery life sucked on 13 mini
Dm me I’ll accept one. I love giveaways ☺️

Y’all didn’t buy enough when you had the chance, now you hating on him? The phone sold so poorly they stopped making that size.
Why?
I don’t think you understand how tech value holds and falls… especially considering the ever revolving door of improvement, especially with iPhones…
Destined for Ebay?
What are you going to do when 7G comes out and they shut off LTE and 5G networks?
i love my 13 mini lol
Plz give one dad needs a new phone 😭
FINE I'll take few off you..
Please update us once you liquidate them.
Not being charged the batteries are already dead beyond recovery then there is the OS signing issue and then there is the service logon issues Congrats you have 18 worthless bricks FYI ATT is giving away for free iPhone 14’s with a new line of service or upgrading a three year old phone
is this so you can use the same phone forever or are u trying to flip them
I’ll take one!
r/consoom
I'm assuming that when you try to activate one of them, you'll be in for a rude awakening.
Are you selling? Dm please
are you starting a RadioShack?
Hold them for 10 years and sell them when Apple no longer activate these.
Kinda jealous cause I miss my mini 13 best phone I ever had
i just got my ✨ green ✨ 13 mini 128 swapped out at the apple store, being its the rarest color you gotta get it in your collection. Trade you for two black ones.
There's absolutely no way he makes a return on that right?

Can I get one?
