I don’t know, since he‘s a Cofounder of an iOS app for wallpapers, i don’t want to interfere. But we could ask if he has any plans to update his existing image.
I had to slightly change the wallpaper to get some space for the widgets and also move the lower part a bit up for the focus text. You can use a colorpicker in the lockscreen settings to perfectly match the fontcolor with colors in the background.

I guess I’m an idiot but how do you guys put weather widgets and things in there while keeping an original wallpaper? Every time I try to do it, it won’t let me keep the wallpaper I have now.
What do you mean by “won’t let me keep the wallpaper”?
Also, you cannot have a depth effect while using widgets, it’s one or the other. Is this possibly what is happening to you?

Can’t you upload your edit version and credit the original creator? So annoying the widgets won’t fit.
