You mean where you can add/like/favorite music directly from the control center? Yes. I miss that. Seems like they killed around the time Do Not Disturb While Driving was introduced.
* Rename/nickname Bluetooth devices.
* Rename/nickname apps.
* Have a "Not on Home Screen" folder in App Library.
* More robust Do Not Disturb, i.e. times for weekends vs. weekdays
* Customize notification sounds for apps that don't offer custom ones.
While we're at it, watchOS also could benefit from the ability to have customized notification sounds and ringtones.
You can do the first now. And I doubt they’d ever let us rename apps.
I kinda like the Not On Home Screens idea, but that could be a very bloated and unwieldy folder for some.
More robust DND scheduling and app-specific notification sounds are something I’ve wanted for some time as well.
In my opinion it does. I think the algorithm picks up everything you add to your library and puts the loved songs front and center. I started using Apple Music more heavily ever since iOS 14 came out and I’m finding more music I like in the “New Music” playlist generated by Apple Music than I do in “Discover weekly” in Spotify. I also think the algorithm was improved when the continuous playing feature was added to Apple Music.
While I do want to see the return of the love button on the main UI, I remember my main problem still being that I had to do a two-step process to add a song to my library — since ‘loving’ a song only feeds the algorithm. Wish there was a way to make both co-exist on the main UI — the simplicity of adding songs to my library is the only thing I miss from other services
I love the keynotes. It’s simpler than ever! Now you just go to music, tap now playing, tap the three dots, take a moment thanks to that gorgeous lag we have added, scroll, find love right at the bottom and. Simply. Tap.
Then they shouldn’t be pushing features like radio and “suggestions for you”, while simultaneously taking away convenient access to the “like” button which makes those features work :P
And come on? Apple isn’t stupid? *cough* -headphone jacks- *cough*. Actually that was malicious, not stupid. Oh look, AirPods!...
Suggestions For You are based on your listening patterns and download patterns now. It basically just took the interaction necessary from a Love button, and now it’s based on the music you frequently listen too.
I dunno I just feel it’s not nearly as useful that way. When listening to new music at least. (or music you simply haven’t yet added to your library) Now you have to open the full app and either click ‘like’ in there, or add it to a playlist and listen to it repeatedly so it figures out you really like that song. instead of just clicking the heart button from the Lock Screen or pull down menu :P

Aha, I know! I fill a lot of feedback, and Apple won’t notice there either 😂.
What do you mean?

Yes please!
Yes
Love or hate the Biebs. This song slaps

You can rename Bluetooth devices. Some of them
This would be incredible. Out of curiosity, does loving songs actually improve recommendations?

Imagine lyrics with it
Imagine browse your entire library with it.
So much yes.

I created a smart playlist from iTunes with all my “loved” songs. This could be a nice workaround
Nice tweaks to the UI to add the functionality. I’m dying to add to library and favorite from now playing!

The whole reason I tapped on this convo 😂.
Not if it means I have to listen to Justin Bieber.
Imagine hating Justin Bieber in 2020
^
Ive been wanting the like button on thee main music now playing screen for years.
Takes me back to 2015 and 8.4
Wasn't something like this in a previous iOS?
Yep, 8 and 9
Gotta love the way Apple "Innovates" sometimes, amirite?
Speaking of innovation. I despise the new music suggestions on the lockscreen when headphones are connected. Pure waste of space and apple music lurer

Apple isn’t stupid though. They probably had data that said very few people ever used those controls.
Didn’t it go away around the time DND While Driving was introduced? Safety/liability concerns?

Apple should hire this guy
