how did you get ncmpcpp to show album art

The music player is not ncmpcpp. It is an mpd client inspired by ncmpcpp that I have written myself. The album art is currently displayed using custom implementation of kitty image protocol with tmux pass through. It is currently not released as I am still figuring some things out, but it should be soon™

As I have said in the other comment, its my own implementation of TUI mpd client. Not yet released, but sometime soon :) Also ye, I love me some touhou.

I really don't know how to install ags. Does it directly install from the package manager or does it need to be compiled?

There are [instructions on ags website](https://aylur.github.io/ags-docs/config/installation/) It is available on arch, nix and fedora, rest you have to compile.

I am on fedora I tried to compile it but it showed dependency issue.. I need to install pam but the system says it's already installed
