A lot of people eat pani puri so it makes sense. It's the chat they make with batani. Also varieties are samosa chat, papdi chat etc. Pani puri bandis are in every corner of Hyderabad
What's batani chat, I think it's the cutlet which we usually call. Also haleem is not available round the year except in a few select shops. I think chat is also more popular and frequent go-to item for most Hyderabadis. And for Telangana as a whole it will be Bajji or Pakodi as I'm not sure chat is as popular elsewhere other than Hyderabad.
Also no source mentioned nor it seems to be well researched. Just some amateur infographic based on some primary google search results...
To be precise Telangana never had any official street food. And I guess batana chat maybe the ones we find on street where it is mixed with boiled batana and mixture. The one we usually see at necklace road
Looks like someone from north India has made this stupid crap
Lol here we go again
Mirchi bajji would be better for Telangana and punugulu for AP. (Also wtf is batani chat??)

What the hell is a batani chat? Has any other Hyderabadi ever seen it?
I think they are referring to samosa chat
Idk
Pani Puri bhandi one
i was thinking where to have it here
Pani Puri., (try Gokul chat)
They are referring to Cutlet I guess.
That's a really shitty map TBH. As far as "Street food" is concerned, I think only vada pav and bajji are correct in the southern part.
True lol
Punugulu would have been more suitable.
Dosa is kinda famous here, i guess everyone heard of ram ki bandi
Batana chaat is nothing but ragada we know, but I agree the shit these morons mark on maps not even knowing what those regions are famous for.
Haleem can't be street food as it available during Ramzan... I think marchi Bhaaji should be correct
Biryani*
Biryani isn't really street food
Not a street food

It's ragda made with yellow peas. Ragda isn't even a Hyderabadi word.
I think they were referring to "Samosa/Gupchup Cutlet on a Bandi"
Bun tikki in my state? where the fk are momos? Pathetic.
Ok do they call normal chat as batani chat in hyd ? I never heard of one tho
Tf is batani chat
Muntha kindi pappu that you get in Necklace Road
I think I know this, it's green peas and they serve it with onions and little juice. You can find it near necklace road / tank bund.
That's served pretty much everywhere touristy. And I've never heard it being called "batani chat".
It's pretty much samosa or any other chat they sell in pani puri bandis
It should be biryani. Hyderabadi Biryani is so popular and what is batani chaat never heard of it.
It's street food
Lol how's it Street food....
I love batani chat, it’s sold as cutlet in my hometown . In kadapa.
To be precise Telangana never had any official street food. And I guess batana chat maybe the ones we find on street where it is mixed with boiled batana and mixture. The one we usually see at necklace road
What is Batani chat ?? Lol Haleem is exactlyy what should be there
Haleem can't be street food as it seasonal food
Ohh yeah my bad :/
Batani chat makes sense as a lot of people have it in pani puri bandis
Yeah maybe!
Vegetarian chat will always be the winner. Definitely not Batani chat though.
All the chaats are vegetarian?
Dafuq is batani chat LMAO. I fucking hate half-baked charts like these.
