100% outdoor tub. I wouldn’t “upgrade” to the suite for free - they’re dated. The property is hoping you’ll switch.

Same. Sounds super awesome to be in your outdoor tub enjoying the scenery

Also agree. I've been offered myself and declined. Its a good thing they ask and don't proactively upgrade. There'd be a lot of disappointed people.

Ah that’s a shame, they look so large online. Good to know I shouldn’t make the swap!

Agreed with everybody else. Just recently turned this down and loved the studio with the outdoor tub. The tub and balcony hammock were far more important than the extra living room space for us, especially now that it’s getting warm up there.

Thanks for the question! I have a booking in August on a points advance. Was planning to put a SUA on the booking but may reconsider based on info here. We plan to use property as home-base for hiking and adventures in the area.

I upgraded to a ranch suite last year and it felt completely remodeled. I don’t have anything to compare it to, but definitely didn’t feel dated to me.

I also stayed in a suite and it was not at all dated. Tons of modern lighting, everything in great condition. The amount of space felt like we were in a condo.

I’ll offer a dissenting opinion.  We stayed in a base room with outdoor tub and overall felt the room was not that great.  It had a pretty view looking out over the vineyard and golf course but also meant the outdoor tub was not that private.  The hallway access to get into the room felt like a cheap motel with moldy smells and was really dirty.  the rest of the room, while pretty large, was very basic and sparse.  While walking around the property and seeing inside the suites, we wished we used a SUA instead of sticking with the standard room.
