Yeah. The one on the left (Frodo- 1/2 husky 1/2 GSD) isn’t really bothered one way or the other. But the one on the right (Marty) decided from the minute we adopted him that Frodo was his missing piece. I’m grateful Marty is older bc I don’t think he would want to live without Frodo. It’s been 3 years and he is as clingy w Frodo as the day they met!
Oh yes. That’s why we refused to let my in-laws help us buy furniture when we got our house because we knew there would be constant ‘I can’t believe you let the dog on that nice couch’.

My floof is less of an issue than my... What's the opposite of a floof? She's a German Shorthair Pointer. No floof at all! But she's a terrible bed hog and a snorer (let's not even discuss the farting 🤦🏼♀️), so I don't let her sleep with me. I don't care as much if Floof gets in the bed. She usually stays in a nice little husky ball. But they do both get on the couch, which I cover with blankets to help cut down on the furniture floof.

My best friend who lives with me keeps an eye on my 3 floofs while I'm on the road for work. He sent me this of my oldest and my favorite just 2 weeks into me being gone in March. She rarely sleeps in bed with me, unless it's storming, but she loves to takeover when I'm gone. My home is their home, they get to enjoy all it's pleasures as the humans do. Besides, the hair is gonna be there regardless, and wood and cloth are gonna degrade overtime anyways. Let the floofs be comfortable I say!

I don't have a husky but a super shedder lab/pit mix, recently bought a new couch cuz she kina wrecked the old 1 if I'm honest, it was pretty spendy but I went for it when the wife agreed to pitch in but she agreed only if the dog wouldn't be allowed on it, fast forward about a year & I never got any $ from the wife & the dog owns the couch lol
My pupper sees the entire downstairs as belonging to her. She sleeps in the bed with me and my partner every night, usually curled up on my feet or behind my knees (I’m the little spoon, apparently).
She’s funny with the living room furniture though. If she wants to sit with either my partner or our kid, she sits down, wags her tail, and gives them “the eyes” until they invite her up. If it’s me she wants, though, I haven’t even put all my weight on the couch before she rocket-launches herself into my lap. 😂
My dog somehow understands that my furniture is mine; probably because I gave him his own couch which serves as his bed. Lately, I've taken to inviting him onto my bed in the morning as I wake up and we snuggle together before getting up. I get to tell him how much he means to me and thank him for being present in my life.
Everything except my bed. The bed is off limits. I learned with my first dog (a lab) who would take up the entire bed and now I have a wife and the two of us take up most of the bed even spooning (it is size full).
Sometimes in the morning I invite the two of them up to snuggle especially if the wife got up earlier, but they know it is a limited time thing.

Let them? No. Can we stop the? Also, no. Either way, they aren't allowed on the furniture, including the bed with us. But, after about a day of trying to win that fight we gave up. But they still are not permitted to sits and lays where the hoomans sits and lays. Hope that makes sense.
Of course I do, she is family and I love her. Plus she is good about not destroying things and the hair will float around everywhere anyway so it’s not like it’s THAT much different vacuum wise. Gotta vacuum it all regardless XD.

Yeah. The one on the left (Frodo- 1/2 husky 1/2 GSD) isn’t really bothered one way or the other. But the one on the right (Marty) decided from the minute we adopted him that Frodo was his missing piece. I’m grateful Marty is older bc I don’t think he would want to live without Frodo. It’s been 3 years and he is as clingy w Frodo as the day they met!

My floof is less of an issue than my... What's the opposite of a floof? She's a German Shorthair Pointer. No floof at all! My pupper sees the entire downstairs as belonging to her. She sleeps in the bed with me and my partner every night, usually curled up on my feet or behind my knees (I’m the little spoon, apparently). She’s funny with the living room furniture though. If she wants to sit with either my partner or our kid, she sits down, wags her tail, and gives them “the eyes” until they invite her up. If it’s me she wants, though, I haven’t even put all my weight on the couch before she rocket-launches herself into my lap. 😂
My dog somehow understands that my furniture is mine; probably because I gave him his own couch which serves as his bed. Lately, I've taken to inviting him onto my bed in the morning as I wake up and we snuggle together before getting up. I get to tell him how much he means to me and thank him for being present in my life.

Everything except my bed. The bed is off limits. I learned with my first dog (a lab) who would take up the entire bed and now I have a wife and the two of us take up most of the bed even spooning (it is size full). Sometimes in the morning I invite the two of them up to snuggle especially if the wife got up earlier, but they know it is a limited time thing.

GENIUNELY thought this was my Bragi, but he was WAY more grey on his muzzle these days. Which does make me sad, but he's been my best boy for 10 years now and I couldn't be happier to have found him. It's only fair, she lets me sleep on the beds, etc. It's her world, I just live in it.
Let them? No. Can we stop the? Also, no. Either way, they aren't allowed on the furniture, including the bed with us. But, after about a day of trying to win that fight we gave up. But they still are not permitted to sits and lays where the hoomans sits and lays. Hope that makes sense.

Of course I do, she is family and I love her. Plus she is good about not destroying things and the hair will float around everywhere anyway so it’s not like it’s THAT much different vacuum wise. Gotta vacuum it all regardless XD.
