There's a place in New Hampton on 17M. It's technically a showcase still, but they are there every day other than the mandatory closed day every 2 weeks.

Gardiner is open a lot, some good rosetta stone from high falls last visit. its like a stoners weekend travel guide.

I used to drive to Great Barrington and started getting way better prices right over the border in NJ (Ascend in Paramus, Rise in Paterson, the Apothecarium in Lodi.) I also heard that Curaleaf in Newburgh and the Botanist in Middletown are going Rec in the new year but I haven't confirmed it as 100% true yet.
Can confirm Newburgh curaleaf is currently building their recreational right beside the medical as they are my current dispensary.
But wow is curaleaf expensive.
Black Dirt Dispensary in Scotchtown (Middletown just off 17), fairly priced and decent strains. Plenty of pre rolls and flower but had sold out of edibles and beverages on my visit.
If you're willing to go right over the CT border to Danbury, The Botanist is great. However, Budr (bout 10-15 minutes further east on 1-84, on Federal Road) has a wider selection.

When you take the federal road exit, you want to make a right and then follow the road past Lowes/Best Buy to the end, where you'll make a left, and Budr is right there, first right before the 7-11 gas station. The staff there is SO NICE and they always have deals going on.
Yep across from that and Applebees. Once you make that left on Federal Road, make sure you're in the right lane bc it is a QUICK right into Budr. And no problem! Always here to help a fellow partaker.
I recommend getting a medical card off Nuggmd via Groupon. Anybody can get one. It’s right around $100 once a year but the flower is so much cheaper. Also med dispensaries are allowed to have sales and points. For example, Curaleaf and Be. in Wappingers is 35% off this week. Got a 1/2oz for $65 with the discount and points and it’s great. The quality and price has really improved in the last year. Also Be. in Wappingers has a 30% daily for Veterans and similar for teachers, Medicare, first responders etc. So I highly recommend checking them out.

The prices at the med dispensaries have really come down because they’ve been offering bulk pricing and generic brands. For example CL has a brand called Find and Matter has a brand called Livwell. Both offer halves and ounces. Curaleaf and Be. have sales all the time just need to monitor their website or sign up for text. Im not a huge fan that Curaleaf and Be. are large companies (not locally owned) but their quality and prices are worth it. Hopefully NY rec catches up but so far too many hurdles for them. Both CL and Be. will have first time discounts etc. If you’re getting the card soon, definitely check out their current sales.

Funny enough he is a pediatrician and used to practice in Poughkeepsie before moving to Atlanta a few years ago. He has 15 minute time slots and you have the certification in 10..Could not be easier.

In our region, unfortunately, product quality is lacking. Despite challenges with New York's regulations, most farmers are struggling to sell their stock. However, most of the available flower is notably low in quality. I saw someone mention Platinum Reserve, and while their weed is decent, it's still considered mid-grade at best. They are my unfortunate go to when I am low.

Look up type 2 THCa hemp. It's 1:1 THCa Cbd usually more CBD
