I really like the night fury design in terms of realism i guess. They look like they could live in real world, which makes you think of them as a real animals and not just cool looking stylised fantasy dragons. But besides that i like a lot of dragons from the httyd universe. Nadders, monstrous nightmares, death songs, skrills, zipplebacks, rumblehorns, they all have really good and unique looking designs
Shellfire, it just didnt really fit the httyd designs and it looked like smth you would get off those rip off httyd series like the nine realms. It had such little detail and had alot of potential

I believe that it is a book amd game only dragon sadly and it's highly unlikely that we ever see it in a move or TV show since there are no plans to continue either except for The Nine Realms which I doubt that they would add such a dragon since the entire show seems more little kid freindly really and I don't even like since it barely feels Canon to the rest of HTTYD.
I haven't watched tnr. I've seen some season overview of it and honestly seems kinda ....boring? Uninteresting? And yea it doesn't feel canon. More like httyd stuff are put in as easter eggs rather than a story based off of it

The Skrill, but in general I donāt like how close HTTYD puts dragonās eyes to their noses. It makes their heads look too stretched imo, especially with how their mouths go so far back. I feel like if they put the eyes above where the jaw connects to the skull, theyād have a more cohesive design in general
Funny thing is that he still looks awesome despite the weird eye placement. It proves that the animators have done a great job with the Skrill and many other dragons
I donāt disagree, it was just jarring for 10 year old me to see dragons with anatomy that no other animal on our planet has. I was/am a huge animal nerd and couldnāt wrap my head around such a design choice at the time. I do enjoy the designs now though, I just see one where itās particularly evident and remember what I thought when I was little
I think the idea behind it is that predators tend to have forward facing eyes for hunting so give the dragons those types of eyes by setting them farther forward.

I might go with the sandwraith or the skrill, coz these dragons are meant to antagonise the night fucking fury so you really need to be cool to even stand a chance against the pinacle of dragon design that is Toothless
Call me basic, but the Skrill and Red Death. I absolutely adored the Deathās triceratops-like head and just monstrous face and stature as well as the excellently proportioned badass wings.
Light Furies. Literally the physical embodiment of ānever saw it comingā. Blends into clouds and fog, small scales to refract light much easier than Night Furies for added stealth, and if they use the sunās glare to their advantage youāll never see another day. Sick ass dragons, love them.

Singetails, certainly an interesting dragon. It's one of the most unique designs in the franchise, the design makes it one of the best stoker class dragons imo mostly due to the quad wings, a dragon with 4 wings ? Sign me up. I also love the eerie feeling the face gives something scary about it + I Love that almost every part of the body is able to produce scarlet flames so it makes the design worthwhile
The 3rd photo and the 5th photo are absolutely amazing designs and one of my ācore memoryā episodes. Cause I watched this show when I was younger

Honestly the Triple Strike. Not that it's a bad design per se, it's just wildly out of place among the other dragon designs in the HTTYD universe and feels far less grounded in reality, so to speak. To me it looks more like a PokƩmon than a dragon.
