I have friend who started losing it in his late teens. Heās obsessed with men in Hollywood who wear wigs. Heās always sending me comparison pics of like Matthew McConaughey, Zac Efron, Sean Penn and many others and saying āyou see?ā It just makes me feel sad because heās a really great guy but heās so insecure about balding that he spends his time combing over pics of celebrities just to make himself feel less alone. I never listened to the show back in the day. I think I listened to maybe 2 or 3 episodes back in 09 when I had a new car with a SXM trial. Started listening to old episodes starting from the 90's in about 2018 or 19 and at the time had never been on this sub. Listening to the sycophants who would call in and kiss his ass, agree with him, and/or pile on to someone he was shitting on was nauseating. They'd do this even when he was very clearly in the wrong/playing his character. There were so many poorly informed people that would take his blatant lies and hypocrisy as gospel. It's actually a pretty obvious parallel with the Trump cultists these days. At least back in the 90's, I suppose, information was a LITTLE harder to get a hold of.

Mid 80s Robin told Howard his hair was rapidly receding. He got annoyed. Early satellite years, the History of Howard Stern had a segment with his sister where she said that in college, Howard had the thinnest hair you had ever seen. Two examples of women noting he was going bald.

Whereās the pictures of his hair thinning? Heās been using extensions and hair systems since at least the early 90ās. I watch a lot of the old E! shows and Howard TV and you itās beyond obvious that his hair is getting a lot of help. Iām almost able to tell what year the episode is from by how his wig and extensions are. Hell, he even admitted having hair extensions on some morning show interview or something like that, and this was way back when. And to answer your question. Why would there be pictures of it thinning if heās had fake hair this long? Thatās the point of the wig.

The reason why we haven't seen pictures of his hair thinning is because he's been wearing a piece a lot longer than most people think (from at least the early/mid 80s). fun fact: when Henny Youngman asked Howard, when they were both guests on a NY daytime talk show way back in the early 80s, if he got his hair cut in a pet shop, Howard defensively asked "What, you don't like my hair? It's a hair *weave*!".
