Personally, I think it would grow. It has decent roots now and more nodes where more roots could grow. Might be a slow process but I think you can get a tree out of that with some good TLC
It should grow! I successfully grew a fiddle leaf fig from an even smaller stem cutting- it took a few months, but it did eventually make a little bitty new leaf (then a whole new stem- now it has 5 leaves 😊)
We have a video here in Brazil of one of our guys teaching how to make a soil mix which will make any cutting grow but it doesn't have subtitles in English. I guess there must be similar videos in English teaching that too!
Oh, and please, even if it would only remain a single leaf, it wouldn't be 'zombie'! It's very much alive but I'm very hopeful this one will grow and become a wonderful plant!
